Hey Handler wanted me to let you know if you need anything from us at simply-android.com we will help with anything you need.
update: new video http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMjI5ODczOTE2.html
Since everyone seems to be excited about these progress can someome explain to me what this means?
I learned so far that the Motorola bootloader is digitally signed which prevents us to flash custom roms.
Is a recovery image bypassing this issue? Would it be possible at a later time to implement froyo/gingerbread? And in how far is a recovery image different from a rom which needs to be flashed?

Are you documenting your work somewhere? I would be really interrested in the steps you had to do to figure out all this. I would especially like to work on this problem with configuration management like chef to automate all this stuff especially for linux.

its cause its pointing to the wrong partition. You need to change it in source.
As there is no official Q&A thread dedicated to the CM13, I thought I'd make one myself on behalf of @Olivier
Any questions, Ask away and it will be answered..
Link to the development thread:

Simple stuff to follow before reporting a bug/error:
1. Make a clean install.
2. Any FC or crashes, report with a logcat.

I am happy to help in this forum, that I regret that there are sections that by not having more than one certain number of comments you can not comment. happened to me that any could have helped and have not been able to put my solution I am sorry that this is so I do not agree at that point in this forum, there are people who can provide much, and surely have not been able to publish their respuestae of aid. Thanks again for opening a post in which everyone can participate or what it is to help deserroyar the system, thank you.
Hey guys its been a long time since I've been on xda. So I'm currently running lollipop and just want to clarify a few things if that's alright with you guys. Firstly does anyone know if doze mode works on this build because i was really excited about this feature. I also want to ask one more thing. Do you guys use the adoptable storage feature? If so how are you finding it and are there any bugs with it. That's it guys sorry for the long post but i hope i get some feedback of you guys. Thanks for reading.
No, doze isn't there.. also, the adoptable storage works fine.. but like we could move ONLY SOME APPS to the SD Card in previous android versions, it is the SAME to be honest... am using it currently.. but it can help save some space for new apps...
The only problem is, we still can't choose to directly download apps to the Ext SD.. like if you download a big game, like FIFA 15 or something, it won't get downloaded..
Also, you may like to know that the Camera doesn't work in the latest alpha(ALPHA 3) as of now

No, logcats do not reveal your personal data...
Yeah, you should take logs as soon as the bug takes place
What bug did u face btw?
I have a question myself,
Can't the cm12.1 cam libs be used to fix the cam bug?
If the camera libs from the Alpha 1 could be PMed to me by someone, I can try fixing it in the Alpha 3 maybe?

ok i will download it now..
Edit: well the report is:
Install Rom--OK
Gapps--OK
Bootlogo--OK
Optimizing apps--OK(maybe you have to remove SD CARD for avoid bootloop like resurrectionremix rom)
Boot--OK
Camera--DOWN--same bug as gearcm
SIM--OK(even RR have problem with sim right now)
DeepSleep--OK
Kernel auditor--OK
Sd card have to be formated as in RR..with gearcm this is not needed(maybe this is causing the bootloop)
BUG:
maybe is gapps but i dont know..play store is not downloading ..i will test with older gapps that worked with gearcm
Ok i reinstalled gearcm and sd is working without format and play store is working well(same gapps)
btw im using open gapps pico "arm 6.0 pico 5 January 2016"

As a "recognized developer" this is the poorest way to advertise for a Rom. This is not a help wanted advertising firm. Not giving details on what it is you want people to test, not saying what phone is required on the subject line, and posting this in the general section lead me to believe you are NOT a respected or educated developer on xda. I suggest you put more details and move this thread or it'll be reported, and I'll jump on my other account and personally move it.
*to the moderators* There needs to be stricter rules on who's considered a "developer", this isn't burger king where everyone gets a crown.

Hello everyone,
On the official sourceforge account of dotOS team, there is a build of the ROM for our tissot. It's experimental so if anybody wants to try it, here's the link: https://sourceforge.net/projects/do...ests/DOT-N-v1.2-20180131-tissot-.zip/download
Thanks to MohanCM and Abhinav Gupta for making this ROM possible.

someone please do try it and give feedback ?
Don't you already have 14 topics on this ROM, in the other section? Why are you adding another one. Here's my advice why don't you try it before posting anything!
how to install and screenshot ?

Is this your ROM? Did you build it?
The answer to both these questions is no.
Did you take the developer's permission to share his work?
Lemme guess, it rhymes with go.
Delete this thread.
No hard feelings it's just that the developer is not getting the credit he deserves and it's going to you

OK, I understand. I just wanted to share his awesome work on XDA and make it obvious that it's not my build but OK. I understand my mistake. Wrote "Removed" everywhere.
For those who don't have the latest update yet, try updating your Google Play Services app.
To download the latest version, visit this APKMirror link. Feel free to provide feedback if it triggered your February update.
Also, if you're having bootloops with other Feb patched_boot.img for Magisk root, try my version.

Worked for me as well, cheers for this
Isn't the Feb update buggy? Lots of battery issues so a lot of OEM's are jumping straight to March or downgrading to Jan patch?
Can anyone please confirm if you more drain or any performance impact?
Worked. Not reboot needed.
Let's call a guide every app update suggestions... And cluter the forums... No offense to the OP, please don't misunderstand this.
But I feel strongly about opening threads for every minor tip. Why don't we all try to cooperate and maintain a clean forum by posting all suggestions in one thread?
I'm sure you can find the appropriate thread to post something like this.
I would give away all my thanks meter, if I could, just for that, to unite the efforts in keeping the forums organized.
Again, please don't feel offended by this. But try to understand the reason behind it.
Peace out!
Great! Thanks for this.

Hey man, I'm sorry for causing a little cluster in the forums. As much as I want to post on a different thread regarding this method, I'm sure not everyone from this subforum would see my reply there if I were to post this on a Feb update thread. I get what you mean, it's just that its easier to make a thread to ensure visibility for users who have yet to receive the update. I've yet to see someone post instructions such as this and took it into my own hands. I hope you understand my reason for sharing as well.
