Elijah, can you tell me where I can get the EB11 PnP from.. unless the actual Froyo update I did yesterday was the PnP, but I still have all the bloatware, so I'm inclined to believe that it was not PnP.

Just so there's no confusion, should you just say the Boot Animations won't work for 2.2 until we get a Voodoo Kernel working with EB11? Or did I miss seeing where one has been release to work with the Showcase 2.2?
Also are there any battery mods that show the battery percentage? Not a full theme, just a battery percentage indicator that you know of.

I use minimalistic text for this one. it's a nice mod.

Bootanimations will not work with EB11 (2.2) until we get a voodoo kernel for this build..
As far as just a battery mod only, you could easily do this yourself if you're on the pick-n-pack EB11.. Bdemartino wrote up a really good sticky on learning to theme. All you would have to do is find a theme that has the icons you're looking for.. and follow his instructions.. You would only have to edit 1 xml file and copy/paste the battery icons. If you're interested in doing it, let me know and I can send you the xml.

I installed the "Wireless Tether" app from the market.. Yes tethering is available with the picknpack3... I haven't actually tried it, never really need it personally

that someone wasn't me but I did the same thing and I actually went over my limit. I went into the store and told them I tethered and the guy liked how fast and awesome my phone was (voodoo and REVOlution I think I had) and he cut the overage charge in half.

And you just released a ROM? No offense but you should really be asking these things in the IRC chat, if you're really trying to learn and develop. And as said above, everything for the showcase exists for the mes - so there would be no benefit to even attempt to hack a showcase rom to work with mes.

I rooted my wifes hero and I want to put froyo on it for her but I can't seem to find the one I want. Can anyone help me find how to put a STABLE rom with froyo and she wants the htc sense overlay. Just like her phone is now on eclair but froyo. Thanks. Also if going to froyo I assume you can leave a stock kernel?

There is no stable rom for the Hero that is both 2.2 (Froyo) and Sense. There are a few in development by our master chefs here, but they aren't quite what I would call Stable yet.
alright, still in the wrong section but i can give you some insight here
- as far as for froyo with sense there are only 1 or 2 builds at the moment, our devs are working on getting this fully functional but atm not everything is fully functional
as far as for froyo that doesn't have the sense overlay, you have 2 options each with their own person upsides
- cyanogen mod 6- this is a customized version of AOSP android with some custom changes like the ability to put the battery % over the battery indicator, you can change notification colors along with the ability to change LED notifications and even the status bar colors of the phone all without having to load in a theme or anything, you also have the power control toggles in the notification trays, and some other tweaks to performance
- AOSPmod - this is stock android, no extra frills just vanilla android but it does give a good base for themeing
there are versions of the 2.1 released that are a little bit more performance boosting but 2.2 sense just isnt fully ready for our phone yet but with patience it will be

And then you can use launcherpro plus as your launcher which has some sense like widgets. There are also custom widgets available in the market like Pure Widgets, Beautiful Widgets that also have a sense like feel to them.

Liquid sense removes alot of the sprint bloat and if you download the odex'd version it will feel snappier, also all of the images have been optimized if she wants sense minus the bloat i would go with that one (your sprint apps and such)

If you go with the LiquidSense rom, you can manually add in any of the apps that were removed using adb shell, or android commander, and if you use the NFX Stock sprint rom, you can remove the unnecessary apps using android commander or titanium backup (which has free and paid versions in the market).

Thanks nitroglycerine33 for compiling a theme list, i just hope one day the droid charge theme options can develop as much as the fascinate has, I'm glad you gunnermike and others are porting them. I was jealous seeing them on my gf's fascinate which i feel is my phones little sister.

Really? Pretty much all of the themes available for our phone are H57 themes. Not sure what else you want? If you're talking about updates, then that's one thing but saying you wish someone would start to theme for Heinz just doesn't make sense. Also, really doesn't have anything to do with this theme

Yar, that's what i meant.
To your point, i'll admit it, I actually flashed this last night while i was on Heinz 57. I was wondering why the hell it wouldn't boot, as i assumed everything released was for h57; especially considering we haven't had anything for the new versions.
My original post was saying "i dont think it works right" but i realized 5 minutes later that i'm simply a dumbass who doesn't read things.

Acceptance is the first step
On a side note, if I have time and motivation I may port this over to the newest H57 this weekend. No promises but if I know me, it will happen
Edit: After second glance it looks like Tator has already ported for older versions of H57 so I'll have to check with him before stepping on toes
I've tried the one that Tator ported and then looked at the one you did. There are some differences between the two. Yours seems to have more blue and honestly a cleaner look. Granted I haven't seen the notification bar but if nothing else and Tator is cool with it. Might do it as a Heinz alt version of Paul Diddy.

Thanks. I got the ok from Tator so I'll probably work on this sometime this weekend. Shouldn't take too long now that I know what I'm doing It will be based off this port/the original so there will be some differences from Tator's.

Theme looks great but unfortunately I can't get it to install. From CWM it says that it installed but there's no difference change from when I installed EEPnP19. Not sure what's going on as this is not my first theme to flash. I've flashed it 3 times with the same results, didn't know if anyone had any thoughts on this.

Just to confirm, you are on a Mesmerize and using CWM3.x correct? I will take a look when I get home but I flashed the exact same file I uploaded to test the theme with no issues. Perhaps you got a bad download?
Yes, you have the correct info. I was thinking that a file may have been corrupt but redownloading was going to be my next step. I'll run through it and get back to you when I can.

I've tried the one that Tator ported and then looked at the one you did. There are some differences between the two. Yours seems to have more blue and honestly a cleaner look. Granted I haven't seen the notification bar but if nothing else and Tator is cool with it. Might do it as a Heinz alt version of Paul Diddy.

Did tator release one for the new heinz? last i checked all tator had was the 5/15 versions...

Hello I know this probably isnt the right place to post this but does anyone know the color code for the GuimmyCharged 1.7.5 original green rom. I am trying to mod a battery icon and can not get it to match to my original Wifi, 3g status icon color. Thank you for all the help.

Hey dslider85, thanks for posting this! (This is KainGC from AC, just use a different name on xda).
This should work for any EE4 deodexed rom, I have been running this on the new Altered Beast alpha as I prefer the "original" style and the tweaks I made (blue battery indicator instead of red, etc).
I haven't been adding to this theme much as I have a few original works in the pipeline and did this as a learning experience, but if anyone finds any issues please let me know here or on AC!!

I assume you mean the green battery indicator color from the 1.7.5 gummycharged rom. If that's the case the hex code should be #85BB00
