Screen is too bright - fix - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

seen a few of you guys find the screen too bright even on the lowest setting. I have the vibrant 3g, which has the same screen brightness and problem. There is an app from the market which gives the perfect solution.

Thank you for this Hopefully this will save more battery life.

Works great -- can have multiple widgets each with their own dimming levels.

Yea, for our s-aomled screens it does save battery, esp when combined with a dark theme or wallpaper.

Looking for a full screen photo widget

Similar to the stock one, but full screen. I have seven home screens and want to use a couple to display photos and keep a live wall paper.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Photo Frame Deluxe by Big Ideas Software is the closest i've found. It has 3 sizes, and if you chose the largest and check 'enable auto crop', it's pretty big. See attachment.

Forgot to add, it's $.99 on the market.
Just what I was looking for.
Thanks.

+1 for Photo Frame Deluxe!

Overlay

Hi guys and girls.
just thought id give the app "Overlays" a mention.
Basically it allows you to float any of your installed widgets on top of your screen so that they are still visible when using your apps/browser etc.
The app also allows you to size and set the transparency of the widgets.
Its really easy to use and there is a lite version for you to play with - see more at the XDA portal thread.....
Overlays Thread
Its pretty cool and well worth a shout, especially for us tablet owners :good:

Here is a snap of this thread, you can see my bookmark widget on the right and also my Sonos player widget just below it

[Q] CR7 Lock Screen Regional Settings

So I've got the new CleanROM 7 from Scott and am loving it!
One thing I just recently noticed though is that the lock screen shows temp in Celsius. Anyone know where the setting is to change that to Farenheit? I've done some searching in the forums and the dev thread and have come up empty.
Screenshot with Celsius temperature:

Go into weather, then settings, then temperature scale.

Thanks! It seems so simple but I never knew there was an actual app. I assume this also governs the widgets I don't use. :-\

[APP] LightDelight Lower Brightness Screen Filter With Simple Ui

Google Play Link
I know there are several apps for night filter but due to their complex ui and design it irritates user to interact with app.
So Light Delight is a simple Ui Night Filter App that let you pick any color as your night filter and low your screen brightness.
In notification there are two button to increase and decrease the opacity directly from notification so no need to go to app again and again.
Install and let me know about your thoughts

An ideal tool to troll people to make them think that their device is malfunctioning.
