That is DDMS
You don't have to root your device.
1.) Install SDK (To your computer) and setup ADB (Find some guides..)
2.) Go to settings>Applications>>Development>>Select USB debugging
3.) Open CMD on your computer & type "ddms" w/o quotes
4.) Give it a second and a new window will open
5.) Select your device
6.) Then in there select device at the top, then screen capture.

I believe he meant that he is unrooted and tried the screencapture apps that require root.
@Sax1981 Those apps are using a method of taking a screen capture that requires root, there would have to be a new app, designed for the new kernel that could take stock screencaps.

Or in some builds that don't have the market at all on the phones.

AmaZING!!!
U guys are genius. Thanks for the app. this is perfection at its finest.
All i ask is that u can make a easy way to get into the android registry without using adb Shell. If this program could some how get into the android registry. Id really luv that.
so finally everyone who dosent know how to use the adb shell can still get into the file system and do the process to get apps to INSTALL & RUN FROM THE SD CARD.
i already have my sd card partioned and waiting. thats guys.
Amazing apps. i appreaciate the hard work.

He meant the link to download the file.
I uploaded it in my post
I'm not exactly sure running executables from unknown new users is a good idea... especially given that everything the program does can be easily done (probably even easier) in the console with adb install.

Yeah, I kinda threw up a little bit when I read that word.
CHECK THIS LINK TO UNLOCK THE "Unknown Sources" OPTION ON YOUR NON ROOTED ANDROID PHONE
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1107499
Now you can install apps on your Android powered phone or device without having to get them through the Android Market.
Android Injector allows you to quickly and easily install apps that you have downloaded to your computer in the form of ".apk" files onto your Android phone or device. Some phones do not allow you to install apps from any other source except the Android Market. However, some app authors do not release their apps to the Android Market and elect to put them on other sites such as Getjar.com. Android Injector allows you to download apps from those other sources to your computer and then install them onto your phone from your computer quickly and easily via USB connection.
Just install the USB drivers for your phone or device onto your computer (check your carrier or device manufacturer for drivers), connect your phone to your computer via a USB cable, select any amount of Android app files (.apk) and click "Install to device". No rooting or any of that complicated stuff.

Very cool app! I like it!
Awesome!
Awesome app! Thanks!
Would be awesome if it was available for Mac/Linux
This app is superb!!!
But please, make a shortcut on the context menu, when right-click over an apk file on the explorer... please.. make it... it make the process so much more simple...
Does it work on Nook color?
Sorry to ask (or someone will say try it) but if it does this would be an awesome achievement and a reason to keep the stock format on the nook color and get all the other apps you want with the new update. Great job on your app it looks great and reviews speak well of it.
I love it!
some doubt
hi,
good work BUT i think that the same thing could be possible with a simple shurtcut to a batch on which you drop one or a group of APK files....
I use that method...
Dude, nice! It even has drag&drop function! Really nice work, thanks
Good work! Highly appreciated.
I do have some questions and comments:
(1) what's the method behind this? How exactly does it work?
(2) are you aware of any legal or technical side effects from using this method?
(3) does the utility support any command-line parameters? If so, it'd be negligible to add a shell option to interface with Explorer.
Thanks again!
Does this alleviate the need to push an .odex file?
This is nice, might come in handy, Great work!!

good question...
I've just successfully installed Frama (From stock Rogers 2.3.3) and now got Flashify for when I find a suitable zip/img.
(For some reason the infuse doesn't seem to have an official CWM or TWRP - BUT I can confess that I've only just started researching.)
Still it seems completely be do-able, to answer your question prematurely.

I tried this on my T217S but no go. I get an error screen that translates to "Local Root program fails, it is recommended to use Cloud Root
Cloud Root improve the success rate, the cloud root only consumes little connection just 30 seconds or more." When I click on the box it gives some Japanese characters appear at the bottom of my screen. I'm assuming some sort of error message and I can't go any further.

Have you checked whether the root counter has increased after root or is it still showing as Samsung Original. (You can check the counter while in the download mode). Another question that springs to my mind is that will it also work on Tab 3 8 inches. Can some one kindly confirm. I want my Tab to be rooted but don't want to increase its binary count (root counter) and hence not tried anything on it yet.
SM-T210 worked!
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 WIFI
thank you so much! worked on my sm-t210r.

Agreed, was the only way I could root mine properly...
Yo Guys here is the detailed guide about how to capture an android OTA link/URL(when new Android update out) without a PC.
Yeah, since I don't have PC I thought i was no longer able to root my phone or playing with xposed or flashing stuffs like custom Roms, Recovery, custom kernel etc... But I got rooted my phone, flashed custom Rom,installed xposed and even unlocked my device. Thanks to King root and it's Dev for awesome app!
Yeah, now let's get into matter since I'm using "Google Android one", Google assured to give 2 years of Android update to our phones directly whenever the New versions of Android releases.
Google Nexus, Google Android one and GPE phones are directly handled by Google in the terms of software updates. And even Flagship phones maker like Samsung, LG, HTC, Sony, and many other companies Pushes OTA updates whenever the New version of Android releases!
Since Google OTA's are followed by random process few will get update very early and others will get the OTA later. So, in order to get rid off if one who got OTA Notifications then it's simple to get OTA Link by taking logcat.
Once link distributed with community members, friends and others who using same phone, then they can access that link and download OTA zip and they can flash that new update zip using stock recovery and can boot newly released Android OS!
Now the question is how to take logcat without PC and capture link (OTA link) and share the that link with members! (I'm explaining without PC method so don't ask me for PC method)
REQUIREMENTS:=>>>
1. Rooted android device
2. OTA update on your phone
3. Terminal emulator
4. A brain
5. A file xplorer (Solid & Es file xplorer recommended)
HOW TO CAPTURE OTA LINK:=>>>
1. open terminal emulator type "su" and hit enter
2. Then terminal asks for Super user permission(I, e; Root) "choose grant"
3. After that type this
logcat > /sdcard/ota.txt and hit enter.
4. Now go back to system update window and tap on download system update.
5. Next wait few seconds 10-15secs and close terminal emulator window.
6. Now open a file xplorer like solid or ES file xplorers
7. You can see a file named OTA.txt
8. Now open that ota.txt file using file xporer (use solid xplore)
9. Search for the word starts with "http//:Googleapis/ota" like that
10. You'll get the link, copy that and share with friends and members and enjoy
