What does this mean? - Captivate General

I was getting my replacement Cappy ready to send back because it too suffers from random shutdowns worse than the one I already have (4 times in less than 18 hours) and I went into Odin3 to do a Master Clear. It was recognized no problem, but after clicking the MC button it sat there doing nothing for close to a 1/2 hour. I shut down Odin and unplugged the phone, went to try again and now all I get is this:

}
I can put it back into Download mode, reconnect to Odin, but if I click on MC or Flash ROM it says it is starting and then just sits there. I don't really care as the phone is going back to AT$T, but I don't want this to cause me any problem when they get it back. I'd prefer to send it back in stock condition. Any ideas?

That's what my old phone looked like when it was bricked, but it would not go to download mode. I would try Odin on a different computer if you can't flash it. Odin should be able to connect and flash in download mode.

That right there is a Soft Brick. As long as you have access to download mode, you should be able to recover, it's just a matter of trying odin a few times and/or switching computers.

Awesome! Tried 3 more times and it finally worked. Rebooting stock Eclair right now. Thanks, guys.

[Q] Downgrade android version and recovery problems

Hello,
I tried downgrading my phone with Odin, but when my phone goes in recovery mode, it shows this image and Odin does not detect my phone.

Whats more is that the only way I can get out of this recovery mode is by doing a factory reset. If I take out the battery, plug it back in and turn it back on, it will always boot back into recovery mode.
Any help?

I smell some mistake here. Odin is to be used only in download mode AFAIK.
Hit thanks rather than typing it now Free
Oh, well I tried using download mode but Odin could not detect my phone either.
So how can I downgrade my phone?

[Help]Optimus 3D always restarting when shutting down.

When I try to turn off my Optimus 3D P920, it always restarts instead of shutting down.
I try to shut down either by holding the power button and selecting Power off from the menu, or using an app like Quick Boot. Always restarting.
This happened after upgrading from official 2.3.5 to official ICS.
One thing I noticed after the upgrade: immediately after the phone turns on, the LG logo changed(the one that appeares before the bootanimation). Before the upgrade it was red like in this image

Now, when the phone boots, it looks like fastboot
The only way I managed to actually turn the phone off is to enter TWRP recovery and select Shutdown from there.
Any help is appreciated!
Thank you!
I just found out that this is a bug of using non-stock(wkpark's) bootloader. Finally found a way to flash stock bootloader/recovery using this tool - http://d-h.st/24C
The downside is that i lost TWRP. Well, I made a backup before, and if I ever need recovery I will reflash it. I prefer being able to turn the phone off normally.
P.S. The phone still has the fastboot look when it boots, it doesn't really bother me though, it might just be the way it is after ICS upgrade.

S6 Edge rooted, touchscreen wouldn't work, can't flash back to stock PLEASE HELP

So im in Las Vegas right now and stupidly tried rooting my s6 edge from the hotel. Driving down to Arizona tomorrow morning and I would love to have my phone working for gps and music and whatnot. So I need to get this fixxed tonight. I will skype or IM anyone that has any sort of way of helping me troubleshoot how to reflash the stock firmware.
From all the tutorials i looked at, I didn't realize that the root I used had to be SPRINT specific. Anyways I rooted it with the wrong thing. Booted up fine, but the touch screen wouldnt work. Alright, trying to reflash the stock firmware and ive had nothing but issues. I've tried 2 different versions of sm-g925p firmware and the furthest I've been able to get is ODIN failing

I have wiped the phone using recovery mode.
Also, after failing the phone displays this message in red and black text in the top left: "SW RE. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE: 3, BINARY: 2"
I have used 2 different cables and every usb port on the computer.
I also installed the samsung device drivers for my phone.
Does anybody have ANY ideas at all? I need this fixed asap. Thanks

odin mode avb fail on samsung galaxy note 10 lite

i bought my galaxy note 10 lite 3 years ago when it first came out, everything was fine until the phone started crashing and restarting on its own, and keeps lagging and ONE UI 5 keeps stopping, finally the phone restarted and froze on boot screen, then after 15 minutes it opens ODIN mode with AVB error (note: i didn't try to flash anything on it).
after doing some research i tried to enter download mode and used oden to flash another firmware (Original firmware) on it but oden keeps stopping and i dont know what to do, i couldnt even find a solution, all i found was how to flash a new firmware but when i tried it using oden3 (literally i have all versions) i couldnt, i went to a technician and he told me the nand storage failed or not working , i wasn't convinced by what he said so please help me
