Hey guys, if you follow me you know I help out a lot with the CM6 forums. I'm probably going to start making a theme in my spare time, and I'd like to know what the most popular theme would be. I have some ideas, and you guys let me know what you like best with the poll at the top. Or, you can give me a custom idea and I can see how far I can go with it. Just let me know with the poll and with posts what the most popular theme would be so I can start on it ASAP!
Good choices there, but don't we have a fair amount of darker themes for cm6? How about a lighter one? White and green or white and blue? Just a suggestion.

I was thinking of something which doesn't have any color significance. In other words, normal, colorful theme. Sense theme is good but probably too many glossy stuff in it which doesn't make it look like the original sense theme.
All I'm saying is that a normal theme with some added color would probably run most popular since it takes a certain taste to run the others

Question 1: Are you going to make this a flashable zip, metamorph, or an ADW theme? Personal preference would either be a zip or ADW. Also, with ADW you could put it in the market.
Question 2: How extensive are you planning on making this? Wallpaper and colored menus or are you going whole hog with icons and themed widgets?

It would be a flashable zip, and I would try to go the whole hog, although the beta might be taskbar, menus, and fonts kind of thing.

I'll actually probably use something like that too, I see a nice one if I end up doing a light green theme like you suggested
Maybe u could do something similar to the kite UI that I saw somewhere that said it could be coming soon.

That deals with sense I believe though, thats a whole separate ballgame. He's making a UI, I'm making a theme. I don't even have 1/2 the time I would need to make a UI

Those themes look amazing. I really like the look of the icons and the Dropdown notification widgets. Great work. Just as a suggestion, maybe you could put a couple screenshots on your first post, just to grab the attention of people opening the thread, or just a direct link to the screenshots. Just a thought.

cant remember where i saw that, gonna drive me crazy. was it in one of the kangerade themes?
i think maybe the ic picture unkown in phone on kangerade blue and others has something like those, well drawn pics.

Yup there's actually 4 incall/call images in phone/res/drawable-hdpi or hdpi-finger.
guess i misunderstood his question. i thought he wanted to know where that specific design png is, not the location of any png that goes there; but that specific picture from whatever theme....as it is a fancier looking one then most themes come with.
Oooh maybe he was I misread...you can get that image from an hatch phone apk also....

I found these three from here, but they're not waving. Do you know what kind of phone that shot was taken on?
Also, they're not from DarkSlide, unless there's another spot that these icons would be stored (other than framework-res.apk/res/drawable-hdpi).
Looks like an htc sense phone. That was on my eris and I believe the evo has it too. Just dl a sense rom from the evo forum and grab it from there

Make 2 copies of this picture and name one ic_pane_unknown_caller and the other picture_unknown and drop them into /res/drawable-hdpi of BlurPhone.apk and you should be good to go after flashing.

Pretty sure its from the stock rom actually. I forget where I got it but my roommate who has an incredible (and refuses to let me hack it) is where I remembered it from. And I use it cuz I hate that gray guy too.

So i have been messing around with things and thought i would post a beta version of my Purple Crush theme for Bionix 2 RC1...
I am not going to go into massive amount of detail about whats been done... Lets just say i have touched, modded or replaced a lot! That being said, this is a beta version, meaning its not done and or does contain images that might not be of the highest quality as i was playing with idea's...
All i ask for is simple feedback... Meaning dont be rude! If its not for you, so be it... If you like the direction, but have feedback... Feel free to let me know...
I will probably let 20 or 30 downloads take place...

Nice work... My wife would love this just the way/color it is, but we use CM7.

I uploaded these earlier, but uploaded to the wrong section. These all work, just overwrite your old boot animations. I would upload a picture but the site doesn't let me upload images from other sites yet, sorry... Hope you guys like them.
EDIT: adding a "do a barrel roll" bootanimation. Yes, I was so bored the other day I decided to make it for the hell of it. Included are 2 .mp3's with the barrel roll remix, one with a 5 second delay at the beginning, one without. I added in the delay because the animation lags a little at the beginning..
Also, I will take requests on bootanimations. I'll see if I have time to do some of them, but its final's time for me. Come May 1st I should be able to work on them constantly.
And if you like them/use them, please hit the thank button. It will encourage me to keep uploading whatever I do for you all, (even if making a boot animation is pretty easy, I'd still appreciate it..).
Have a feeling no one was really liking the inverted trollface so I uploaded the non-inverted one as a boot animation. If anyone wants the troll face song .mp3 just leave a message here and I'll upload that as well.
If anyone cares, I uploaded my "do a barrel roll" bootanimation that I made out of sheer boredom the other night.
I am taking bootanimation requests if anyone has them. Read the first post for details.

Ok, I used the best .gif I could find. It had a watermark from where someone had gifsoup make it so I did my best, (I think I did a pretty good job haha), of getting rid of it. I included it where it just loops through infinitely, but feel free to change the first 0 to reflect the number of loops you want it to make. Hope it looks ok, if you have a specific .gif you want me to use link it here and I'll make it for you!

My fault, I forgot to test it before I uploaded it... I'm too tired right now to fix it, I'll fix it when I get up tomorrow. It was a 30 frame .gif, but flash keeps exporting over 100 frames so I must be doing something wrong haha.. Sorry its taking so long
