Ok I downloaded the Regina 3d launcher app. Now I want to change my home button back to the default app. But I cant do it without uninstalling this app. I don't want to uninstall it as it is the best I have seen. Any ideas on how to change it with out uninstalling it.

Try going into settings>applications>manage apps and select Regina and clear data. That will forget the settings and revert back to default home selection

no luck. Just started Regina as the default program again as if it was the first time.

Instead of "clear data" pick "clear defaults" under "launch by default."
Next time you hit the home button it should ask what you want to use.
That app let me launch the original home screen but still would not let me change it back. But I was able to do what I was wanting to do. Thanks!

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to access the settings menu for this app. There is no '3 dots' anyway in the app! Any advice from other users?
Try long press recent apps

Thanks, configured my button to open the menu (without configuration, this wouldn't work).
Phone tried to download facebook but network was off. Notification still shows downloading. Notification wont go away.
I tried rebooting...uninstalling and reinstalling app. Still wont go away.
What can i do?

It still shows it as an active download right? Tried clearing notifications with the X (rather than swiping away)? What happens if you tap on it?

There is no x on it. Clicking on it closes the notification window. It doesn't do anything like bring me into the market.
Do i need to clear an app's data or cache?
Does it make a difference that im on tweaked 3.0?

My wife's phone has the same issue. Tweaked 3.0. I don't use Facebook, so no issues with mine.
I suspect it's a Facebook app. problem, but I haven't had time to dig into it.
Any ideas? what have you tried on your wife's phone? Maybe together we can figure it out.

I got it. This should work for you:
Go in to Settings
Select Applications
Select Manage Applications
Select “All Apps”
Select the ‘Facebook’ app
Under ‘cache’ – click [Clear cache]
Clear Data – click [Clear data]
Go back to list of Manage Applications
Select the Download Manager
Under ‘cache’ – click [Clear cache]
Clear Data – click [Clear data]
Reboot if you feel the need.
Good luck!
Rememo, you da man. Clearing the data in download manager got everything back to normal. Thanks much

Hello, I had unlocked and rooted my phone. Still on stock.
Here's my question/problem:
When I was on Facebook and there was a video posted; I could choose what player I wanted or I could use a EZ-Downloader to download the file to view off Facebook.
All of a sudden I dont have that option any more.
Can some of you awesome gurus here guide me in the right direction to get that option back?
Go to settings select the app that you set as default and hit clear defaults.
FYI this should be in questions thread.

You must have clicked always instead of just once one of the times you selected one of your options. Go to settings/apps find that app and click on clear defaults. That should free you up.

It only shows up if you have multiple launchers installed.
