If your a fan please request it. I know i love my phones to be completely protected so i sent it my request!
I am interested in getting one. I work in a dairy processing plant and complete coverage would be nice, even if I couldn't use the keyboard when it is in the box.

Same. Good gel case. I have NEVER liked snap on cases. But this one is ok for the price (wifey's employee discount helps).
BodyGlove case they sell at the store sucks though. And costs twice as much. It actually keeps the keyboard from opening all the way.
I would love to see a otterbox defender series case for the G2. I have one on my T-Mobile HD2 and it is great.
Please bring it to us.
How can you put an otter box on this? It has moving parts.. making it kinda hard to seal up..
EDIT
Guess it would not be a sealed box.. no water proofing ..
Ya most of the otterboxs aren't water proof its mostly just a really good case that protects from the shock of dropping it and stuff. I had one one my n900 which was also a slider it was a great case.

Talked to The Otter (OtterBox) today about a case. They Said "We are looking into possible cases for this device." Now if you know any thing about The Otter then you know They are 100% vague 99.9% of the time. Due to past experiences with the company, I call them The Otter because of the simularity to The OZ from Wizard of OZ. ( Never give any information except A Badass case.)
Oh! and if your wondering what it will look like.... Check out the Otterbox for the Palm Pre. More than likely it will be a "Tandem" series like the Pre was and will never have a Defender . But I could be wrong
I'm friends with the CFO of OtterBox's son and their company is located in my town so I'll maybe show them this thread so that they know how many people want one of their cases for the G2
Please do! I'm patiently waiting for one

Look at the MyTouch Slide, IF, and IF they do make one, it will be a commuter series.
I would LOVE to see an Otter Box case for my G2!
I had one on my N1 and I think that is the thing I miss the most since switching to the G2.
My Cliq had an Otterbox, and I love it, I hope they come out with one for the G2 soon.
Maybe they can design a defender case for the G2 that has a "locking" open
and closed mechanism for it . To keep it closed in the event of a lap launch
or drop .
I would buy an OtterBox.
Funny...This is the reason I logged in today. Wanted to see if there was an Otterbox available for my G2 Want one bad!
Last time I talked to the Otterbox company they said the case for the G2 is in the works. It's going to be a commuter they said

As Az2envy said I would love it to have some kind of locking mechanism. If it has that it's a definite buy for me and I never use cases.

I think it will be quite USELESS if its the commuter type. No clip with be available or lock or anything. Might as well get the hard silicone-rubber case tmobile offers for $10.... This is disappointing

I can't really tell from the pics so I was hoping somebody who might have gotten it would know whether I can keep the case on while using the physical keyboard?
There are threads in the Accessories section regarding those Otterbox thingies...

I went to the link you posted and it says there that you can use the keyboard as you normally do. The answer was in front of you the whole time.
Why would you not be able to use the keyboard?!?!?!?!

One part for the front and one for the back. Still slides open np. Otterbox cases are worth every penny, imo.

I've been using mine for about a month and a half. Its great. Love that it covers all the ports. But its slipped out of my hands numerous times. Wish it came with a holster.

fast review of this case:
good, solid design. love the inside rubber lining on the back cover.
outside material really slick, it has slipped out my hands numerous times. got some nice "wear and tear" marks because of this.
coupled with good screen protector i got a brick i can throw at someones head and knock em out.
pain in the ass to take off to use game gripper.
front cover does not feel like it will last forever as the clips are thin and crappy.
8/10
the rubber/hardcase combo from case-mate for nexus one is my gold standard for cell phone cases.
My wife is looking for a smartphone, it will really be her first and while i love my inspire and she seems to enjoy it im wondering if waiting a few months to wait for the LG Thrill or a newer HTC product.
I think the size of the device might be an issue, i would want to put a case on it cause shes kinda tough on electronics, however if u had a nice case to the Inspire i could see her complaining about the size.
What would you recommend?
Since she is tough on electronics, I would recommended ordering a Case-Mate Tough Case or an Otterbox. I have a Tough Case on my Inspire, and it has fallen 3 times since I've had it. The biggest fall it had, I was walking out of Wally-World and was taking it out of my pocket, it slipped and fell on the ground. Since it was in the Tough Case at the time, it didn't make any marks on it or crack the screen, as it did hit on the side a couple times. I paid 32 dollars with free shipping since I ordered it from the ATT Online store. Well worth the price I paid. From what I've read, an Otterbox would be just as effective protecting it from that fall. It however, is over 40 dollars from Otterbox. I would also recommend buying the Smartphone Experts Screen Protectors from the Android Central Store. The protectors are custom cut for our screen, while maintaining the screens clarity, and it is easy to slide your fingers on the screen after installing. Those are just my recommendations for her if you get her an Inspire. My wife won't stop taking my phone to play my Angry Birds. Lmao
EDIT: The LG Thrill is just as big as the Inspire, and a newer HTC phone won't appear on ATT for another couple months. Just depends on whether you, or her, are big on 3D mostly. I say stick with an Inspire until we have at least official confirmation of the Holiday. Which should be anytime in the next couple of months, as it is a rumored LTE launch device, and they are looking to get LTE going later this summer. Not to mention, we should be getting our official gingerbread update later this summer as well. Hope she enjoys whatever phone you decide to get, or give, her.

^Of course it wont, its hard as well, but is it reallly absorbing the shock?not as much....
The Inspire is definitely the best phone AT&T has currently. I paid the in store price for screen protectors, and they are pretty nice. They give the screen a matte look, but still allow nice tactile response, and it comes in a 2 pack (pro-tip: the matte piece is the screen protector, not the clear piece). I got a nice silicon skin for it off ebay for $3 shipped, from a US seller even. The silicon skin does add considerable bulk, and makes it more difficult to get in and especially out of a belt holster, but it allowed my phone to survive a fall from chest level (upper chest, and I'm 5'11") to concrete on the corner pf the phone with only a slight nick to the aluminum (it hit _HARD_).
If this is going to be your wifes first smartphone you can not go wrong with the Inspire. There are so many deals on it its sick. Anywhere from free to $40, or $99 at an AT&T retail store.
My wife loves hers with everything stock.
From one husband to another unless your wife asks for it or is computer savy and can put up with bugs. DO NOT ROOT HER PHONE!

I'd be willing to give Best Buy an extra $20 if they promised to keep that horrid Lady Gaga CD.
The Shack has the Inspire in red, if she's into that. Mine regular Inspire is making everyone at work jealous. Even the iPhonies.
AFAIK, Inspires are free at Amazon Wireless (well, 1 cent, what have you) if you're etiher adding an account/getting a family line.
Hello!
I am searching for a good armband compatible with HTC Sensation, I have found on the net the Adidas Griffin one but dunno if it's good for Sensation or not?
Also I have a little big arm because of gym...
I created a thread for this a while ago. Didn't look like anyone had anything specifically for the Sensation.
Bump for a recount! I'd love to see this happen. I really don't like putting my phone in my pocket at the gym.

So nobody tried the Micoach by Adidas? It's stated at mobilefun that the Sensation fits in it, reading the sgs2 reports they say it fits but the earphones cable doesn't fit, yes I know sgs2 is bulkier than Sensation but dunno...

Interesting. Maybe I'll order that today. It's cheap. Not much loss if it doesn't work out.
I have found thanks to youtube the best armband for Sensation!
Arkon sports for large smartphone
Finally I wonder if it will not look too weird to have a 4.3'' screen on the arm
Let us know how it goes. I want one too.

Just make sure to get the XL for the Sensation. They have smaller sizes also for iPhone and other ones. Found this at Amazon, not the cheapest but should work. I'm in for one. The reviews seems to be good.
XL for large phones (Sensation, Thunderbolt):

SM for small phones (iphones):

Here's the video about the product: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPThAzbYJd4
I hope my sis will find it in NYC, here in Lebanon we have ONLY iphone armbands
I found another that seems to fit perfectly for our phone. I like the fact there is a velcro for easy installation and removal of the phone. It's almost the same price as the other one.

Hmm.. I like that one more.

Depends on how big your arm is I guess
Would be neat to have schwarzenegger arms, and walk around with a tablet strapped to the bicep...

Haha! I don't think my arms are that big. Both the arm bands fit well. The iGadget one has a shorter strap. With my arms, (slightly larger than most) I have to use close to the end of the velcro.
Yeah me too I have some muscles thanks to gym so I will choose the longest wrist, which is??
I have found some cheap armband over ebay, this one looks like a good quality one with neoprene but I wonder if the belt is long enough...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Neoprene-Armband-Case-HTC-Sensation-/190586487203?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item2c5fd701a3
The Arkon will cost me 30-35$ from ebay which is too expensive for an armband, the problem I have found with all the Sensation compatible armbands is that the transparent plastic cover is thick and bulby, though this ebay one and Tune Belt look better
Hey guys, would anyone be able to post pictures of the 2? Is there a preference you have, the i gadget vs the Akron? Need to buy one this week. Thanks.
When you chose your Armband beware people of your sweat!
I had the Desire before and I got an ILuv ArmBand made for iPhone 3GS of VERY high quality that I overpaid about 34€ (which should be around 46$). I decided to go for the quality since it was meant to protect my much more expensive device....all neoprene and I thought it was the best choice....which in the end led me to pay around 180€ more for the replacemente of the MoB of the Desire due to "water" (sweat) infiltration!! Yes: I do sweat a lot when I train myself...but anyway WTF: it was meant to protect it!!
Obviously I couldn't do anything about it cause it was meant to be used with an iPhone and not with my Desire...but...all this to say: be carefull in the choice of your armband..!
I'm searching too an Armband for my Sensation: so far I got a TuneBelt which seems fine but since its a "universal" armband it doesn't really fit exactly with the cellphone and another chinese crap that was meant to be totally waterproof (more plastic than neoprene) and made on purpose for the Sensation but it's too small and it doesn't fit in.
Looking forward to know about the Amazon ones you pointed out!!
For those of you who are debating!

"Pros
Solid battery life in both HSPA+ and LTE areas
Thinner and lighter than expected
Strong CPU performance
Ice Cream Sandwich-ready
Cons
Slippery back makes it difficult to grasp well
NFC is included, but disabled
Bottomline
The Skyrocket delivers the same high quality experience as the others in the Galaxy S II series, offering LTE on AT&T's network at the same time."

Same here!
I picked up the outterbox rubbery case in store. It has the opposite problem. Too sticky. Wont slide in pocket. Catches every peice of lint and dust.
I think im going to take the holster route with this one. I prefer using it caseless as the form factor is great on this nice phone. Just wish it wasn't so slippery.

NFC is enabled on the Rogers version.
It registers a tag everytime I put it close to my paypass card.
