[PORT][THEME]EB16 Lucid Theme 0.2

here is the lucid port i was asked to knockout
============must be on EB16 PnP 0.2 to use this===============
as normal, i am not responsible for what you flash to your phone
all credit goes to the original creator of this theme, and to nitsuj17 for porting it to the sgs fascinate. i just ported their work so we could enjoy it. Thank elijahblake for making the silent button for us!!!

i have flashed it and it looked great so if you have any problem, let me know and ill see if i can fix them for you
Instrustions :
Disable lagfix (if you use voodoo)
make a backup
wipe dalvik cache
flash via cwm
reboot, and wait for 16 years for it to fully boot
wait a lil longer, damn dalvik
wait some more

That's because fascinates new ROM's have a data off/on button instead of a silent button -I currently have two themes with this same issue.

lol, you told me not to worry about naming them correctly so i didn't..
Take a screen shot of what my buttons look like on/off.. I actually drew the buttons haha

not my theme obviously.....but i did bring it to the sgs phones which required some more work than porting it from another sgs phone
and i did make some of the icons in it for the fascinate as they didnt exist from the nexus s (some of the twframework icons ie pulldown and a few in framework res) and the dialer was mine as well...just fyi
just a best practice if you port a port to at least mention it in the op....thats all...good work

its not that hard to make a matching icon for silent...extract the icon from the stock mersmerize/fasciante one....then copy the existing themes with the bottom on/off lines...and erase the wifi or whatever icon but not the line...and then pull the base icon in and rename....thats how i do them with gimp

that's what i did, the only problem the base icon for our phone has like a clear glass looking transparent deal which was a PITA to get rid of...
So i just put it there and traced over it with a paint brush..
lol, it didn't really take that long to do it that way
looks like i missed a couple spots on the white one.. didn't notice that...

Could someone using this post a couple screenshots?

i didnt realize you ported it to...i ported this right from the nexus s version...not the sgs port, so thats why i didnt say anything about yours in the op...ill give credit where its due but your port had nothing to do with my porting it too

This is a port of Black Alien by jstine671 found here and my port for the Fascinate found here.
This flashed in CWM. Flashing instructions can be found here.
This has only been tested on Gummy Charge GB. It will probable work on any deodexed EF1F ROM.
Im still working on my other themes but Ginger Bread ROM's are a pain, so its gonna take some time.
Let me know if you see anything I missed.

yeah those are the icons. you may have to try a different browser on your phone or use your pc. the phone does that stuff sometimes. i will see about crutch.apk for the charge, that should fix the dl problem.

That's definitely a nice theme, but a bit too "alien" for me. hee hee hee.
Maybe I'll try it out though...maybe.

so im gonna go out on a limb here and assume this isnt happenin with altered beast? i flashed this on alt beast rom and booted up to a plethora of FC's and ADW ex seems to say **** this **** lol and a nifty "physical keyboard suggestion is turned off by default" every 5 seconds. weird....i loved this on my fascinate.....may be a minute to get the same love on my charge. lol keep up the awesome work GM. im rootin for ya!

I feel you dude what i did was dedicate one page to my apps. I organized them in folders i'll try to post a pic in a bit.

I did the same... It's better.

You can also create a folder and dump all of your apps into it and place it in the launcher dock. Makes it feel a little more "traditional." Glad you are all enjoying Miui. I know I am!

long press on screen and drag folder from widget tray onto the screen or menu edit widgets

Faux's is the only kernel where I ran into issues. It does work, but ~sometimes~ I'm unable to hear callers and they can't hear me. It goes away though if I do a hard reboot (power + vol up). Stock CM kernel (included) works flawless and Morfic's seems to work flawless as well.

Can't seem to get a solid GPS lock. Anyone else?

Barely it left my phone at a constant boot animation, had to do a fresh install looks good only issues are text in notification is black n can't read it suppose I could fix that though and that its pretty minimal right now could use a bit more but it's clean and nice

thanks for the screen shot and feedback. gonna edit it and flash reverted. if you want to edit the black text, go for it!

Yeah please take out the battery percentage and edit the black text, also add a 4g icon and it would be better

I love what I see on screen shots, can you fix that black text problem?

just like a silver background with a blue text that says KINGS and hey if ya think there should be more to the boot animation you can add stuff to it you're the kind one to make me one

lreyes15...I know you're young and all DUDE but you should of NEVER posted this crap up here! This thing reboots every 5-6 seconds, freezes up when it doesn't reboot and to top it off........you lied about the FFC which btw came to no shocker considering some great minds have tried to get this to work and have come up short
I mean, how do you expect people to believe that you FIXED the FFC but can't figure out how to switch kernels on your ROM...hahahaha
Anyways man, if you need help getting this ROM to decent form then PM me but again, you should really take your ROM down for now until is usable!

If everything goes wrong, tell my Evo that he did a great job although I would end up replacing by a One X
EDIT: The Rom boots, but it's a pain to go through the apps, I got to many reboots (even after changing the kernel) that I was forced to go back to my previous rom. I wouldn't recommend to flash it right now, just do it if you want to waste your time trying to proof me wrong
