Tried to run a fix permissions and I got "An error occurred while attempting to run privileged commands!".
I'm running the 8/1 OTA, new hydra kernel, and 2.15.X radio.
Has anyone encountered this before??
For the record, I already updated to superuser 2.3.1 and it's still not working.
Not sure if this should be in the themes and Apps section or General.....I have had the same issue although I don't get any error when I try to run the fix permissions option it goes to a black screen then stalls. This didn't start happening until I upgraded to the newest Superuser Permissions.
Yeah I actually tried switching super user apps, but it didn't make a difference

I just tweeted a message to Koush about it. Hopefully we'll get a reply.
Keep us updated. I just ran into this issue too. Did a backup last night with no issues, but suddenly today, I'm getting that message.
any word on this
I'm on cm6.0.1 now and no longer having the issue. Never got a reply from koush though.

I don't mess with Fix Permissions anymore. It really screwed me up the first time I worked on SkyRaider, and a bunch of strange things began to happen. I find my phone tends to run better just leaving everything as-is.

I was experiencing a similar deal and the only solution was; removed, rebooted and reinstalled the app......that resolved all the issues. My current setup: Leaked Hybrid Froyo 2.2 version 3.21.605.1, radio 2.15.00.07.28, Hydra 2.6.32 occuv-v10, S-OFF and what not.......Good Luck !
Another thing, in my case I was not even able to uninstall the app using the MENU/SETTINGS/APPLICATIONS/MANAGE APPLICATIONS procedure so I used 'Root Explorer', search for the app, Mount R/O and "adios"........
been reading about a bug do to "Bash" in the new roms, not sure what the fix is as i don't use RM but i think in the skyraider 3.0 rc3 tread there is a temp fix for this issue
i have been having an issue with rom manager also every time i tell it to install a zip from sd or do a back up or even reboot into recovery i get an error that says the update.zip failed signature veri. also it says the update.zip is in /cache
I have a Motorola Droid. It just updated to froyo 2.2.2 and I lost most of my root access. When I try z4root it says I am already rooted. When I try to use any apps that require su access it gives me an error message or it says partition can't be found. Is there any fixes?
I have the same problem... and have been working to try to fix for several days. If anyone can help it would be GREATLY appreciated!!
found a solution
USAFREEBIRD,
I found a solution. I uninstalled super one click and reinstalled version 1.7
Once opened, it ran and said my phone was rooted. When trying to use the wireless tether, it came back with a message that the phone was not rooted.
I turned the phone off, and upon relaunch wireless tether worked! My phone is back to root access! Good luck!
I tried that and it didn't work for me. Any suggestions?
I am using S7, and after updating with hellraiser to the latest root has basically diappeared. I still have Superuser, but everything is denied, like Nitrality, TiBu, root explorer cannot change it to R/W... Any ideas how to get it back without a reflash of the rom? I tried reflashing beta 1.0 and beta .6 see if that helps, but a not go.
Its frustrating because I would just reflash a new rom, but cannot do a tibu backup without root. Any thoughts would be great.
If it help anyone else who loses root but still sees super user, try the following su binary fix:

Flash it, and this could do it for you. I tried this on two different roms that gave me root issues after a kernal update, and this took care of it. Hope it helps someone.
Hello. I still have the CM7. 7.0 or something like that ... Early Gingerbread.
But I recently received various updates on various programs on the phone, so I updated everything including super user.
But superuser had reached message that there needed to be updated more, because I had older version of cm maybe ..
But I went into the rom manager and installed from there. Choosed, download the ROM, then:
Super User 3.0.7 EFGH ...
The phone boot was on, but now it crashes just super user all the time, and I get error message:
The process com.noshufou.android.su for Super User program stopped unexpectedly. And I can just shut the crap. Can not uninstall the superuser and install again from the market.
What do I do? Thank you.
When i am writing this i got this thread in similair:

thread solved.
Hi all. I'm into my umpteenth reinstall through Odin. As I'm trying to troubleshoot why my tablet independently reboots. This is my thread in the specific forum.
http://http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-pro-12/help/sm-p905v-root-issue-t2842651
Right now I have a bare stock reinstall. I upgraded the Verizon OTA package and I have installed towelroot v.3. My system is stable.
As soon as I install Supersu my system will begin into the slide of reboots. This is confirmed by me because I have gotten to this point before.
My question is if there is something I can run or should run, to log what process is causing my instability?
I have gone past this point recently where I installed all non root requiring programs. The tablet will be perfectly stable. Then install tr v.3. and I will still be fine. Once I install Supersu the problem starts. I have repeated this process and tried different Supersu programs and still the same problem.
Again, when I install Supersu "first thing" after a (reinstall and tr v.3) the problem starts. That pretty much tells me the problem is with either Supersu or towelroots handling of supersu.
Any ideas or suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Support for this device is limited and I'm thinking I may need to take things out onto my own.
Solution is not to abide by the Knox warning when installing Supersu and allow Supersu to "fix it". I haven't had a hot boot since.
