You have to root your phone first and then you can use Titanium Backup to remove whatever programs you do you not want.
Removing bloatware
On 2.1 I used Titanium Backup to remove the bloatware. I suspect it will here too, but you'll need to root the phone. I rooted the 2.2 with Super One Click at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682
Ok My question - What bloatware can be safely removed? Would it be the same as on 2.1?
Just do what I did...back it up then remove all att crap lol

I've searched this topic without success so I'm sorry if this has already been answered.
Im running the leaked ji6 and want to try dg's aosp rom. I really like my current setup and want to back up my ROM in case I want to go back. I have never tried to create a backup using rom manager when running 2.1 so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I'm not able to create a backup. Does rom manager work with 2.2?

Im on an unlocked Droid Pro and manually got myself the Gingerbread update
but I cant seem to find a a final answer to whether or not gingerbread on the droid pro can be rooted?
most forums suggest that manually installing the pre rooted gingerbread was my best bet.. but since im past that stage, is there any looking forward?
I did the same and recovered to my T-Mobile rom really hardly back
You should be able to download the team black hat app and get the new 3.8.7 sbf (this is the most recent froyo update) and flash your phone back to froyo with the sbf. After getting back to froyo you can then install the prerooted gingerbread.

Do anyone know of a rom with stock gb launcher and all the crap removed that i can download from the market if i actually want it? Just tried cyanogenmod and cant believe there is no 3d, thats the selling feature of the phone!
Thanks guys
You can pretty much download any ROM and delete the unwanted apps manually using titanium backup or any root explorer by going to mnt/system/app
I think this thread can help you.

I'm just asking because since rooting and trying out CM7 and EB 2.3.7 last fall I have been using the Swype beta as mentioned.
Now that I've learned a bit more about how these devices and their ROMS work, I was just curious if anyone knows if the preinstalled Swype will work on a CM7-based ROM.
The reason I ask is that I'm getting sick of the bar for word suggestions in the Swype beta always staying there even after you've selected a word. I have all word-suggestion related settings disabled but it doesn't go away and the original version didn't leave it up.
Guess worst-case I could just use Titanium backup to backup and delete the beta, then pull the original version off my first backup of the OTA 2.3.3 update ROM and install it on EB 2.3.7 right?
not sure if the original will work but ive been using swype from here.. V5 beta not for galaxy nexus... some pretty cool ones and ive had no problems with it.

Theres a swipe restore apk out there that will install the original Swipe as long as you have your original backup on your phone

Yes, you just need the original .apk and the libSwypeCore.so file

Deblur? You mean to remove bloatware? Yes of course, root it, use root Explorer and delete bloatware apps. Be careful about what you delete. You might end up in bootloop if you delete the necessary system file /app. May be there are other methods too.

I was thinking about removing anything that Motorola has put into it, but there is so much crap even inside Leak 3, which I consider the lightest official firmware. For example, Motorola Services app is constantly waking up CPU, thus draining the battery. You can do a hard work, by removing non standard apps one by one, and testing the phone after. When I was on Leak 3, I removed much of preinstalled widgets, I don't use them anyway.
On stock ICS I removed the following without any issues:
