Can any one make a app there we can put apps like opera in a
list where we can set how cpu value it starts?
Example:
Opera10__CPU_Set_Medium
Game(PoP)__CPU_Set_Low
.....
and when it close the app it returns to value we have set.

Hi, I'm looking for a task manager that has auto-kill feature, I want it to kill apps when the screen goes out.
Right now I use one called "auto-kill" but I think it does take a lot of battery, is there anyone here who knows a good taskmanager with those features but that not use a lot of battery
you really don't need one with android systems. Look at your power useage in settings for each app. You will see that the apps aren't the power hogs. The system it self the biggest. The rest is the radio and the screen (which would be off).
Auto Kill is what I use but only to speed up system once and a while.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

Which one is better for underclocking your processor ?
Im running on ROM and KErnel in my signature..
Thanks in advance

To directly answer your question SetCPU is very user friendly and very basic, if your only changing the clock speed then sure, that's the way to go.
They both have their pros and cons. SetCPU has great profiles to setup for screen off, low battery, even certain times but limited and more tedious for changing voltages. The app in itself is well built, looks tidy and super user friendly. System tuner has all the same features but less custom profile options and in *my opinion* has an ugly interface. If you have the scripting for it, under volting is very easy on system tuner also.
I've used both very extensively and for how I have my phone setup system tuner is the best, hands down.
System Tuner suits all my needs. task manager, task freezer, task advanced details, cpu freq, voltage control and many other options. I have to admit the interface isnt really friendly, but you cand get used to it in no time.
System Tuner is better than SetCpu for advanced options
u can't undervolt the sensation with setcpu.. right?

System Tuner Pro is, in my opinion, the best app for tuning CPU.
I am using IC 3.4 and all is ok.
As his question remains:
Which one is better for underclocking your processor ?

There is no difference between the apps if you consider JUST underclocking or overclocking ... If you take it like this, they are just mere interfaces to change some values ( which you can do by using let.s say root explorer and a text editor or a terminal emulator or etc. etc. )
System Tuner is better because it incorporates many other options, like task manager, app backup tool, uv tool, autokill features, ability to freeze apps and so on.
On the other hand, SetCPU has profiles, which can change the cpu values according to some predefined scenarios.
But, if the main question is which one is better for underclocking the answer is: whichever you like
+1 for System Tuner, the only thing missing from it that I do miss is
the profile settings that SetCPU has, fingers crossed the dev will
include it in a future update. Using System Tuner has also allowed me
to get rid of a couple of other apps that i used to sort out 'autostarts'
and a seperate terminal emulator.

lol. you didn't get me. lets just say, he's asking for underclocking. but most of them are answering about undervolting
I prefere "echo" and manually init.d scripts
System Tuner 3.0
Just to let you know System Tuner 3.0 was released some time ago and provides improved CPU handling, new GPU, Gamma, MP, thermal controls on many custom kernels and a lot of other new or improved features (entropy, fstrim to name a few).
This is now a spawn of Android Tuner, and benefits from a larger user-base, improved stability and performance.
And by increase size I mean, any method that will speed up a phone that nears/reaches it's maximum RAM.
Please read this: https://www.howtogeek.com/127388/htg-explains-why-you-shouldnt-use-a-task-killer-on-android/
It's about task killers, but the RAM management in Android is also explained.
Uninstall resource heavy app... disable animations in developer options...you can also set background process limit in developer options
●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●
BEFORE WE START...
●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●
De-bloat your ROM using this method
This will free +700mb of storage and there will be more RAM available for other apps to use, also I've noticed this helps a bit with the memory management
●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●
DEVELOPER SETTINGS
●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●
Enable developer settings, go to developer settings and enter the system performance tab
Disable trace debuggable applications, click on categories and disable every single one
This will disable (some) logging and it will improve battery life a bit as well as free up some ram
●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●
KERNEL ADIUTOR SETTINGS
●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●
CPU:
tbh if you have a stock kernel I wouldn't bother changing CPU settings, I haven't found the voltages for each frequency for the sd630. When I find them I will improve this part
GPU:
same thing as the CPU part
Low Memory Killer:
if you are an average user set this to agressive, otherwise set it to very aggressive
Virtual Memory
if you are an average user set the "swappiness" to "65", if you are an hardcore user set it to "70" or "75"
*experimental* set the "vfs_cache_pressure" to "95" if you set the "swappiness" to "75"
●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●
OTHER SETTINGS
●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●
Go to Magisk settings and touch on the "Systemless Hosts" button, reboot and then check is the "Systemless Hosts" module properly installed
After that download AdAway and install the latest ad blocking hosts file
And if you reallyyy want a snappy phone go to developers settings and set all the animations to 0.5x
That's it, this post will be updated over time so keep an eye on it
PS: I may need some testers so reach out to me if you are intrested
Changelog
28.11.2019 - updated virtual memory values, simplified memory killer settings, added a way to disable logging
