I've been using the TF to feed my new HDTV movies....and it's great...all except for the getting up and pausing, resuming, and such...
Any ideas on a wireless sort of TV remote for a tablet?

You might be able to program a wii remote to do the basic I guess??
Use a bluetooth mouse or keyboard?
Would be cool if we could get one of the MCE remotes that have usb IR receivers to work.
what are some things you guys do with the xoom that makes you happy that you spent 600 $ on it
Get an OTG cable and a USB controller and play some emulators. You can also try and load Ubuntu on it.
Get a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and an HDMI cable. Hook the xoom up to the TV and browse the web or play games. Download a remote desktop client and access your computer from anywhere. Just a few things.

This, along with Drop Box and a word processing app, can allow the Xoom to replace your laptop entirely. As stated, a bluetooth keyboard and mouse will make such tasks easy.
I currently have control of seven computers, my website, and I'm working on my pc controlled entertainment system. I also have surveillance cameras tied to my desktop, which I can monitor using my Xoom from anywhere. I'll be upgrading to x & z motion control this summer.
Make an otg cable. Use USB devices.

Hi,
I'm looking for a remote desktop app which has mouse support. I'm currently using Teamviewer, but it's quite annoying that I have to use my mouse to control the virtual mouse.
So if anyone has knows of an app that would suit me, please let me know
Would be very nice to connect the phone to a screen and get access to a powerful computer and not feel like you're using a RD but the real thing.
EDIT: If it's not too much to ask, I would like the option of running as high resolution as possible.
hi,
bluekeyboard jp and easyconnect do nothing for this. Can some people ty I really could do with it working.
everytime I enter an application it is paired but not connected so it says, connecting then immideiately disconnected, everytime.
i cant work on this device now. really wanted to
do i have to root this, this is so annoying.
so I found out that bluetooth apple keyboard isn't HID profile compliant soo Ive gone and oredered one that is. There is an awesome video of a guy on youtube hwho uses a logitech keyboard and mouse on it testing it on his tv. He virtual desktop and it is incredible. I'll find the link
I use my Apple Bluetooth Keyboard with my Galaxy S II. As described above, though, it doesn't work with the Note. Why not?

I think you're talking about my video:
I'm using a Dell mouse in that video though, the much nicer one that comes with the Logitech keyboard doesn't map the menu key to the scroll wheel button like it does on most others (it works fine otherwise though). The Dell one is dead cheap on Ebay.
I'm surprised the Apple keyboard isn't working, as mentioned it works perfectly with the SII (and the Galaxy S for that matter). I wonder what Samsung have done to the BT stack or kernel that makes it incompatible here?

Same issue here. Although I can connect my Microsoft mouse.

As title says. I have two HTC Sensation`s and want to connect one of them to TV via MHL Link, and use another one, but see it`s screen wirelessly on TV. I hope I explained it right. Is there any app that lets stream one phone`s screen to another?

Nope, your best bet would be to download an Aosp rom with working MHL, then connect to the phone by Bluetooth with a Nintendo Wii controller, you'll have to use the TV as a primary screen unless you want to sit next to the phone, you'll have to download an app to allow use of the Wii controller through menus, Wiimote is good!

for example to play games on TV from Sensation wirelessly. Or to watch movies and swap between them while sitting on sofa
Hi,
I do have configured my sensation with my Gtab to do something like you want.
There are a couple of possibilities:
A) using imediashare little (free on the market) on both devices you can stream from one to the other. You can also use the DLNA of the album apk.
B) using tablet remote (free on the market) you can control one device with the other. In that way you can have an Android TV.
C) get a BT mouse and keyboard, and control your phone remotely.
Hope it help.
Brgds

Bluetooth key board should work fine, the mouse would work as if its 4 directional arrow keys, going through and highlighting click able options, no cursor

found it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUzWmQymoME
in this video I can see cursor on Sense 3.6 (ARHD6.1.1). Do you think it`s fake? I`m not sure now Has anyone tried it?
edit:At 0:28 you can see cursor even in Launcher.
edit2: As in video, bluetooth mouse and keyboard works. Mouse shows cursor everywhere. The only problem is that both buttons on mouse works as click, no back button on mouse. But I have back button on keyboard, so that`s not a problem. ROM I`m using is PKMN v5.1.

I tried thaat, but it still lags too much to play game. But thanks for info, I will look at this app and wait for updates, maybe then it will be good
I believe that in order to pair the ps3 controller only root is required. So you dont have to flash aokp, dont have to lose sense for the controller option to work

Sense won't recognise half the controllers buttons and would have problems connecting, sense doesn't have a full Bluetooth stack like AOSP, so 70% of Bluetooth input is ignored
Now you can use our new app, VMLite VNC Server to do that, you run the server on phone, and open a browser on the other to view and control the phone. VNC Viewer should also work.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vmlite.vncserver&hl=en
I use screen stream: https ://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobzapp.screenstream.trial
Works like a charm using VLC on my other phone to watch it.
Hi,
I'm on the same situation as you (OP).
I installed XBMC on the phone connected to the TV and Yatse (XBMC controller) on the phone on my hand. There are some games and good add-ons for XBMC so you can have a good all round media center.
Give it a try...
