Hello everyone!
I've got two phones, a Huawei IDEOS U8150 running Android 2.2, and a HTC HD2 running the same (modded). I am driving a Citroen Grand C4 Picasso with a built-in bluetooth car kit.
The problem appears on the Huawei. It pairs fine. All outgoing calls are going to the car kit, no problem. However, all incoming calls are giving me the blue "Bluetooth" enabled screen when the call is coming, but when I connect it, it goes to the headset and I cannot get the sound out on the bluetooth car kit.
Anyone know how I can force the phone to "stay" on the Bluetooth car kit?
Thanks,
Jon

Have the same problem.
Tested by two bluetooth headset from dealextreme - the phone does not send sound.
With other phones this headsets work just fine.
Uses the standard firmware.

Hi All
I have a XDA11 i also have one of the original Nokia Cark 112 bluetooth car kits, but i cant use it with my XDA 11, i can search for it, it comes up as "carkit" i enter the nokia passkey and all seems fine, but it dose not work, ( it wont connect),
As we are a phone shop i then tried the controll box from whats labbled as a "nokia Cark 112 SE" i did the same set up this time the XDA 11 found "cark 112" and i paired using its paring code.
But still the same it dose not connect, When you first enter the paring code the blustooth kit status light flashes 3 or 4 times as if its trying to connect but never dose.
I knoe Nokia hase a so called new Bluetooth car kit "CW1" or something like that, its a few £s cheaper than the Cark 112, the spec is the same.
has anyone got any bluetooth car kits or headsets to work with tere XDA 11, if so please let me know what models they were
Carkits
applecom:
WM2003 does not have the handsfree profile for bluetooth (yet), so carkits won't work.
Headsets work fine.
oh is it not the same as "headset" because when connecting ericsson bluetooth or nokia 6310 phones you connect under "headset"
the car kit may not work, but at least i have been able to do this post from my xda over wireless lan with my sandisk SD WIFI Card.
i will try a nokia headset monday, but anyway thank you for the info on bluetoot profiles
thanks john....
I have tested XDA II working well with Parrot CK-3000
Does anyone have experience with the Parrot CK-3100 bluetooth carkit ?
I was about to go for the new Sony Ericsson HCB-300 unit when I encountered the Parrot. Featurewise it looks like a great unit, but I am interested in anyones experience using this unit.
What is the sound quality ? Are all features (like caller id etc) usable with the MDA/XDAII ...
Thanks !

Hi there,
I have recently fitted the CK3100 & have to say its been really good. It integrates with the vehicle, just like any other professionally available car kit.
That's the good news - the bad news is the XDA II (in all its guises) - still the age old problem of the lack of car kit profile means that the functionality is limited.
Yes, it does pair with the CK3100. Yes it will send and receive calls. What it won't do is make any proper use of the LCD display, nor will it allow access to the address book on the PDA.
In short, it will interact in the same way as it would any BT headset - because that is what it thinks its talking to !
If I use the car and need my handsfree - I have to muse my old Nokia 6310i - which works perfectly - allowing full use of the LCD screen and 100% access to all the data on the phone.
You may wish to check out the other threads on this site regarding the known and ongooing problem with the BT stack on the XDA II.
It's really pathetic that my old nokia beats the more advanced XDA II hands down when it comes to BT integration.
best of luck

Redz,
Have you tried installing the Pocket Bluetooth tools (http://bluetooth.i-networx.de/index_e.html) to create a carkit profile in the XDAII ?
I've ordered the Parrot and will receive it later this week.
A slight diversion
I hate hijacking but any of you guys know how to get the Motorola car kit to answere calls. O2 blame Pocket Windows 2003. MS blame Motorola. Making calls is fine but answereing is a no no so Ive to call callers back when on the road. Any ideas

Phone only, and just using a headset profile, without the option of adjusting the volume which results in (too) loud sound, causing echo.
Hi,
I have an orbit 2 device which works nicely except a problem with my bluetooth car kit (sony ericcson HCB-300).
i can pair them and they make connection after that each time i get into my car but i cant use the voice dialing feature more then once or receive more then one call.
After the first incomig/outgoing call the car kit is unusable.
I found here some thread about afix to BT problem but it didnt work.
The voice commander works ok when the phone is not connected to the car kit.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
looks like the problem was with the rom (khanx).
installed 3lit3 latest rom and now it works great.
Hi all,
I have got the One S now for some weeks and I'm really satisfied. But I got one problem using my handset handsfree via bluetooth. I can take an incoming call via clicking the BT headset, but I can do anything via clicking it when the device is in standby. Though I can react, but not act. I have got the experience from my old HTC Desire when I click on the BT headset, that the voice search starts or I got the possibility to choose an application.
I already called the HTC support, but they were not very nice and said, that they can only support HTC accessoires. But I can not believe that I want to use accessoires from third party manufacturers.
So where is the problem? Is it a HTC problem? Is it related to Android 4.0 or is it related to a few amount of compatible BT headsets?
Already tested with Sennheiser EZX 60 and Jabra EasyGo.
Thanks in advance.
Ok, let's keep it simple. To all One S users with a Bluetooth headset:
What happens if you push the button on your BT headset?
Hi everyone,
I've searched in this forum but couldn't find anyone with this strange problem...
I'm constantly connected to my Moto 360 v2 and, while in my car, also connected with my BT car kit. No problem listening to music trough BT or with connection.
The only problem is during calls (sent or received) there are random disconnections during the calls and I'm forced to manually re-connect the phone to continue talking through bluetooth (it never reconnects on its own).
That's very annoying and I can't make a phone call without loosing the conversation... That's the only problem I have left with this tremendous phone and I have no idea what to do. The only thing I can add is that it's working fine if I manually disconnect the watch while in my car...
No more notification issues, perfect connection to both watch and any BT device, no disconnections while doing something else than calling.
I'm on NXT-L29C432B170 stock non rooted in a Skoda Superb 2014... Any ideas??
Thanks in advance for your help
I have the same issue with a Huawei Watch and Monster iSport BT headset.
Hello all
The same problem with Car media center on Android 5.1.1...

i do have the same random disconnects with both my LG Urbane watch, two Bluetooth car (Nissan Qashqai and Primastar) and a handset, Plantronics Voyager Edge. NXT-AL10 with Kangvip Slim B180.
So Huawei needs to update firmware with best Bluetooth results
