Ok, I'm finally posting a beta of my 1st theme. I have lots of time constraints so release/updates may be slower than others, but hopefully worth it. Also won't be doing any other version than 2.1.A.0.435 for now for the same reason, but I may if this goes over pretty well.

I have redone most of the animated .png's "from scratch" in Photoshop, including the 120+ battery icons, the spinners, "Connecting" call icon, downloads, etc. as well as a LOT of the static icons and .9.png's. So these icons will be unique to this theme unless someone likes them and ports them to another (feel free themers, but please give credit!). Bootscreen is from the interweb (sorry, I forget) & is not the ideal resolution but really "matches"...

I figured I'd get compared to that theme. the resemblance is unintentional but I take it as a great compliment!
The 'glow' on mine isn't a part of the status bar, it's a shadow I tweaked. You can tell in the 1st pic where the notifications are down it moves

I have never even looked inside a 2.2 'rom' so I don't know how hard porting it will be but I have kept my images organized so hopefully it won't be too bad. I will definitely look into it once I have the 2.1 more complete.

First off, HOLY CRAP!!! Sir, nice theme.
And I don't think just because this is a green theme that makes it similar to the greenglow theme. This one has a more metallic look, and it's very polished and professional (not knocking greenglow here, it looks great as well).
And I think he thought you simply forgot to add a screen cap of your lockscreen, but it seems you are redoing it.
As for 2.2, I am using Free X10 and I've opened it up, the framework-res.apk looks very similar to 2.1, but the names of all the images are different, Sony renamed everything for their ROM, so you can copy/paste many of the images, but you will have to rename them all... considering how many there are... it will most likely take some time. As for the phone and messenger and some other apks, those will a little reworking, because they are slightly different from the Sony versions (mostly the messenger).
I would love to see a 2.2 port, because I am really impressed with this.
However, may I suggest perhaps changing the notification pull-down background, the chain link looks nice, but it seems a little busy and doesn't seem to fit the rest of the theme all too well, maybe a transparent dark green brushed metal look, something similar to the default background. But it's really just personal opinion here. I don't know if this is possible, because the background is usually tiled, maybe just a solid, transparent, dark green.
As for names, I suck at naming things, lol... But I get an industrial feel from this... maybe "Industrial Green", or "Industrial Hunter".
Keep it up, this looks beautiful.

Even if I do not use the theme, you (who made it) deserve congrats. It is well made, beautiful and posh. As I have and love my luster white x10, some colors seem not to match it. Its is personal, I know. I would love having a brown/golden theme, or even a Violet one.

Lastly, there were requests in another thread to either port or skin the Nexus/Droid Dialer to our phones. I did some searching here on XDA and a member from this site has already created an alternative, which IMO functions extremely well. If you want to try it -- go to the Market and search: Dialer One

all I did was add some grey pixels to the bottom of each bar...
Edit, download these and change to whatever color you want.

Awesome! Will keep an eye on this. I havent used a theme on my phone since Dartkstar on Gumbo Bare and this looks like it might replace stock look.

I'm positive there not live wallpapers, I haven't seen any actually. I've included the wallpapers below though.
I'm going to go ahead and call this dead...I can't find anyone willing to work on this, and those I did find are out of contact, or cannot work on the theme...so yea, I'm going to reach out to some people, but the future of this theme isn't looking good...sorry guys...anyone who wants to pick up this theme let me know via gtalk ([email protected]) or email (same email)

Alternate Widgets
These are widgets that were made during the testing phases, and are the ones shown in the current screen shots in the OP. The widgets in the above file are about 40% transparent (vs. 50%) for the black ones, and have a slight shadow underneath them. The calendar widget is also only at 25% transparency and has a black border around it.

Since we have yet to do the status bar icons (just had other things we were working on first), I recommend that you install the desire notification bar for your ROM from here, so that you can have a decent looking status bar, and a proper working services.jar.
Once the theme gets large enough, or enough is done with, then we will start releasing the bulk of it as flashable updates, and leave morphs to smaller parts of it.

For More Icons to use with Bettercut you may need to resize the icons yourself to 72x72 if you are using an app on the dock as it may cause distortion in its fullsize (no clue if the 72x72 icons from better cut don't distort)
i used the ecqlipse icons on Deviant art...search for those and use bettercut to apply...especially since all of those will be in data/app and thusly not useable by Metamorph anyways.

I'll do my best...I hope me and David can work something out...due to its lack of overall complexity (with most things being a shadeless, transparent black white or grey) it should be relatively easy...if I knew anything about .9pngs and XML etc, I'd prob do it all myself...

i know, how deep it goes is absolutely fantastic, they themed things I didn't even know were theme-able. lol
Yea the coder for the theme is a beast. Xeudoxus has edited so much of the xml's in order to get the theme to where it is now.
Also I made an icon pack beta for that theme last weekend on saturday. Spent about half a a day vectoring icons. I will redo them with lowered opacity on the black so it will look nicer, but this is just a sample:

very nice...me and david1171 are working on a version of the mockup i presented here...well it feels like he's doing all the work, I don't really know much on how to theme and whatnot...need help on an accent color to complement the white/grey/black...any suggestions?
If your theme is as thorough as the one on alldroid, you got a person who will theme right away.

no offense to any themers, but with the exception of a few themers a lot of themes have seemed very chaotic.
Exactly, some are too unorganized. One I seen "minimalistic" in your theme header I was sold, I feel the more subtle a theme, the better. Good luck to the both of you.

It's still undergoing extensive work, but this is a small update (well actually first update)
looks good so far, me and David are sitll working on the details and minor things, and are attempting to make this a systemwide theme so yea, don't overhype it and PLEASE don't bump often or whatnot...it'll get done, and it'll be marvelous.

Just wanted to chime in and say that the status bar is going to be like the widgets as it is in the mock up in the OP, so that people wouldn't think the desire bar is part of it, that part of the screen shots are from me running my full theme while testing the small things already done, and from the previous things AbsoluteDesignz was/is running.
If people would like a morph of the widgets, I see no reason we can't put that out.
The battery icon in the screen shots is the current battery icon in its current phase though it may change.
This is the updated version of the Black and Blue theme I did a while back. There are some significant improvements IMO. I built this off of Fresh 2.0d so it should work on all Sprint ROMs. Its also built on the Desire Rosie port so LWP run right out of the box, but does not include the OpenGL hack that disrupts everything else. I just started liking my weather animations again.

-If you dont know by now, I like blue. There is blue everywhere in this theme. Including in the icons, .apks, and widgets. Well, except for the Clock Widget, I made that black. If you dont like blue, DONT DOWNLOAD THIS!
-Included is Konikub's raised dialer. It serves as the base and as the in-call dialer. I personally use and love Dialer One. Its got a ****load of options, and was made by a fellow xda'er myshyak. Im attaching a blue themed version if you want to use it also, but it is not included just in case somebody doesnt want it. Here's a screen shot:

Update #2:--I ported JschiSurf's MT3G Rosie to work with this theme. Below is a screenshot, where the center button is now the app drawer, left is phone, and right is contacts. Just push the attached Rosie.apk to system/app.(EDIT-I only tested this on the Chopped Rosie. I have no idea what'll do on the other 2 versions. I mean, it'll totally work right, I just dont know how it will present visually)

This is the updated version of the Black and Blue theme I did a while back. There are some significant improvements IMO. I built this off of Fresh 2.0d so it should work on all Sprint ROMs. Its also built on the Desire Rosie port so LWP run right out of the box, but does not include the OpenGL hack that disrupts everything else. I just started liking my weather animations again.

-If you dont know by now, I like blue. There is blue everywhere in this theme. Including in the icons, .apks, and widgets. Well, except for the Clock Widget, I made that black. If you dont like blue, DONT DOWNLOAD THIS!
-Included is Konikub's raised dialer. It serves as the base and as the in-call dialer. I personally use and love Dialer One. Its got a ****load of options, and was made by a fellow xda'er myshyak. Im attaching a blue themed version if you want to use it also, but it is not included just in case somebody doesnt want it. Here's a screen shot:

Love the theme. Goes well will alooyious or however u spell it. One suggestion is to incorporate black and blue in the contacts list. Have always love that look. Clock and rosie bar are sick looking.

The Dialer One only comes up when you press the Phone button on the home screen, and when receiving calls. It also has a **** ton of other options built into it, and is totally customizable. But if you press the phone icon in your app drawer, the HTC dialer comes up(which is what I used Koni's raised dialer for).
I wouldnt mind if you used it in any of your ROMS at all, I know that you would give me my props. And, I just wanna say sorry about your job, but I like this newly proactive fixxxer infinitely more than your past incarnations. Keep it up!

love this theme but I do have a small issue with the font. it's. just a hair too big. do you have the ability to shrink it maybe 1point?
Any idea what is causing this besides font size?
Looks awesome as do all of ur themes ... would love to see how the clock widget looks with like a indiglow blue for the numbers .... I think that might sharpen up the clock alittle and give this blue and black theme alittle more blue heehee.

No, thats the font. Its the same thing that happens with the font from the original Darkstar theme. It doenst bother me cause I guess Im used to it. Heres a zip to restore back to the original font.

Enigma v1.2 is now up!! (see link below). was hoping there would be few people out there who would be willing to try it just so that i knew the installation i put together goes well, but no had no luck there lol
Everything is pretty similar to slideshow below.. just done few modz to lockscreen & some icons here and there. far from perfect but i thought its decent enough to release (i hope lol).
As for timescape.. not sure if it would automatically change or not! if it doesnt, u may possibly have to pick the theme from the themes menu. it would be the red 1. i know about the white text being wider than the button itself.. not exactly sure what button it is but pretty sure its based in framework-res.apk, which makes it harder. luckily its only a slight problem here n there but if anyone knows exactly which 1, im all ears!! lol
For changing fonts to your own liking please follow instructions from this thread - Changing Fonts.
Credit goes to XperiaX10iUser for the font, Chewitt for the installer, which i later modified & Calum for the Timescape support
Update - I have put together the font files & wallpaper within the theme package. have added the commands within main command file for installing the fonts and also updating the wallpaper section with the wallpaper that i use. should work!!
P.s - if anyone has market issues just after installing theme successfully. go to settings, applications, manage applications, choose market, uninstall updates & clear cache.. should do the trick!.. if not try the same routine except reboot before reopening market n accepting terms & conditions!!

Great work - it must have taken ages to complete!
Also, if you want to, I think that nearly all of your theme can be ported to 2.1 easily, without any editing or file renaming; you just have to put the files in the 'drawable-hdpi' folder of the apk you're changing, instead of the current 'drawable-240dpi' one.
It looks good mate, but I really like the goto lockscreen background!

I've been looking for some themes as well. But unfortunately, we don't have them on here. What apps or program did you use to make the theme work?
I would donate if I can get the apps and wallpapers with the theme
Hey if you make something nice some people will donate, but nowadays it's less. Look at the other one who made all the coloured themes, a few people donated but most people will Just use it, you shouldn't expect to get some, than everything you get is a bonus. I just donated to the other guy a few euro for his themes as I love the way my x10 is looking now. Personally I prefer reading lots of people appreciate your efforts and photoshop skills than earning a few bucks...but if it is outstanding some will donate to say keep on the good work.
For the wallpaper, I already found with google one which I will work on in cs4. Thanks anyway.

As for theming I used android sdk, the adb files, paintshop pro n winrar, also the converters calum had made.
Zyexx.. most are free from the market n others r paid for. Some of the icons u c on mainscreen r modified apk's.. not really appropriate cuz you lose the market connection for updates.. but I'm not really too bothered about that cause.they still work fine as is.

This may not be correct but it maybe combination of couple of buttons in framework-res.apk : btn_circle_*.png and ic_btn_round_more_normal.png
But it is possible that they may be same and i am still using default one .( i don't remember how they looked default )

Well, let me just say... haven't been tempted to do a custom rom at all till seeing your screens.. now it's a MUST!!!! Black is my favorite colour and your rom/theme would be well within my likes...
Don't know the advantages to custom rom or the disadvantages but either way.... looks are important...

It's called "Darkside" for Windowblinds app. It's looks really good if you like dark themes but every now and then you'll notice something cookey about it. For the most part though, I use it 95% of the time.

Haven't tried Dark Ginger yet, but in Dark Froyo 2.2, the reboot and power off buttons weren't themed (they were white with a gray outline while airplane and sound were solid gray, all on a white background). Was wondering if it's fixed on this one, or is it a straight port?

Not a problem. Don't have my laptop yet, so I can't theme or fix things, so I figured I'd help you out a bit. Not to mention you'd probably do a better job anyways.

looking great so far.
the widget editor in adw still looks a little bit funny, the buttons and icons look nice, except for the color of the text. also, the background/border is still grey. I figure you already know about it though.
I just tried out navigation and it looks so awesome!
I imagine it will be easier to change the text color of the notification drop down once cyanogen adds it into the settings. are you going to wait for that or are you trying to change the background and text colors of the notification drop down?
1 thing I would like to see is a different icon for gps in the status bar. right now it is the location bulls eye with a solid center.

Yeah, all those things you mentioned I will work on. I have not changed any status bar icons to have people enjoy gingerbread icons for a while till I complete the images there. Different sizes so I will have to make them again cause resizing the images they look weird so I will remake the old ones smaller! The pulldown bar is giving me issues but yes once they complete the code changes with the rom then my edited images should work. They have theirs already in the framework but the code is not there yet! Thanks for the feedback!
