Im real new to android, rooting, and xda so sorry if this is in the wrong place or a repost.
So I want to flash my phone and run a new ROM on it, so what I have done so far is i rooted it with visionary. And then I proceeded to install ROM manager I pressed flash clockworkmod recovery. Then I tried to reboot into recovery so I could back up my current rom. And I got this

I literary craped my pants.
Can someone give me a clue on what I need to do next? Also what are some good roms to put on I'm looking for a stable 2.3
Thanks guys!
Not sure about what roms are stable for you but I would reboot the phone and reinstall clockworkmod. Try 2.5.x.x not the 3.0.x.x I had some issues with the newer one as well. Hope this helps.

How can you flash this RUU. I have rooted and want to start over my own reasons. Everything I've read talks about .exe file and there certainly is not one on here. How can I flash to this?
Only htc branded phones use "RUU" what T-Mobile Branded phones use is the hboot flashable .zip , put that on your root directory of the sdcard, the boot into hboot, and flash the stock rom

Still confused. So have some patience please. I download that entire RUU zip that was released. Inside there are 11 Items. If I were to want to flash back.. which one would I put on my sd, and do I need to zip it? Also would that in essence unroot me? Or I would just have factory settings with s-off still?

I am on Leedroid`s new Ginderbread Rom
And I need to flash a zip file in order to have AD-HOC capabilities on my DHD
When I goto Rom manager and Install ZIP from SDCARD , I get this error
What is wrong here people ?
BTW my DHD`s ROM MANAGER, FLASH ALTERNATIVE RECOVERY seems empty and NOT highlighted so I can not select it.

Well, it's pretty clearly stated Your CWM doesn't support Amend, aka. CWM 3.x.x.x. If you want to use that .zip, you'll either need to make it compatible with CWM 3.x.x.x (if possible?), or downgrade CWM to 2.x.x.x.
PLEASE keep in mind, this is NOT a forum section for questions. It is for development.
Questions should go in Q&A.
You probably need to ask Lee about implementing ad-hoc in his gingerbread ROM, or go back to froyo and CWM 2.x
I know there are stock images but I dunno which to click, I just want a straight forward guide, maybe just flashing through CWM? Sorry :| Thanks, just getting ready for the update, if I ever get it.
I really want this aswell.
I have the brazilian version of the Xoom (MZ604) that I rooted using this guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1011196) and I want to return it to stock kernel once again.
Help is really apreciated!
My Xoom is like this now:

Thank you!
Well... your Xoom is a bit different than mine, I doubt the same kernel would work, who knows? Still, anyone on this, really want to be ready for 3.1
Try searching for "RootMyXoom". Looks like your kernel is bigrushdog and I've been able to use the utility RootMyXoom.03.exe to go back and forth between locked (unrooted) and unlocked (rooted).
I decided to root me Nexus S i9020a. I successfully rooted and unlocked it, then when I tried to put my backup on it did not work. So I then decided I might as well just attempt to manually update the phone to 4.1.2. I was unsuccessful with this, I could not put the 4.1.2 image onto me phone and then us CWM to install it. Now my phone will not start, it just has the Google logo displaying when I try to start it up, with the unlocked lock at the bottom. i am still able to remove the battery to turn off the phone and then put it the CWM screen. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Vol+up and flash a new ROM.

Yeah flash a new rom and see how it goes... Then try to flash your backup... Did you like updated your cwm during that process?

I have (and am in fact posting from) a Kobo Arc K107 E-Reader... I can't actually get past the setup bc it seems the servers are down for this e-reader (who could of guessed)... I am posting this because I found a exploit to get to settings with the low battery prompt. I was looking to see if I could get a android 5 custom ROM at least for this e-reader so I can make it useful, heres a few cpu-z screenshots
