hi,
I need to download clockwork recovery, but unfortunately the site is always of-line
is there anyone who has one or a mirror?
thanks
Get Rom manager from market then there is a option in it to download clockwork and flash it to your device.

Sent from my MattedBlues CM7 Google Nexus S!
Try www.google.com next time?
sorry, I thought there was a nexus for the clockwork s, I did not think it was always the
same for all devices ...
then if you search on google always refers to the site is offline
You have to flash the recovery and than install root explorer and rename the recovery script to something else so that clockwork recovery won't erase itself after reboot. I had that problem but doing that fixed my problem.

I used the mac root method but it appears that the cwm is very old I dont know if this is the issue but I can not flash anything rom, theme, new cwm what gives and how do I fix this issue currently i am on CWM 3.0.2.4
PS I have a lil working knowledge of this practice as I am coming from the evo-photon-current ET4G this nexus is my wifes as she hated the photon and if I dont get the nexus running some sort of ICS or killer ROM/Theme she is going to throw it at my head

Make sure your cwm recovery is up to date. That was the reason it wouldn't let me flash roms so give it a try.

Download rom manager from the market and flash cwm from that.

Download goo manager and install twrp from there. Its easy and should take only a minute or two. If u are confused on how to do it, go to the TWRP thread in development.

Hit menu and hit install recovery script or something like that. Please go to the development thread and find the TWRP thread for guidance. Good luck!

Twrp hands down over cwm. Plus many of the hox custom ROMs require Twrp.
TWRP is the only officially supported recovery for the HOX right now. CWM is unofficial and contains some bugs last time I checked.
Twrp.

To help out others that may encounter the same issue you had, please post step by step what you did to resolve the issue.
I used goomanager to install an active script recovery, this one worked. DONT USE FREAKING ROM MANAGER TO INSTALL A RECOVERY! That's about it

Very true,
There is a sticky about ROM Manager, while I have it on other devices I don't have it on my TF101. Just wish they would play nicely together.
hey friends it shows status 7 error on almost all rom's while installing through recovery , so can someone suggest a good recovery

Use TWRP Recovery, it's one of the best you can find for the hTC Explorer. Here's a good guide on installing it - theunlockr . com/2013/03/18/how-to-install-twrp-recovery-on-the-htc-explorer

Don't. Trust me, don't. Even if you want to, Do the 2.3.3.0 version. Any version above that, do not flash as they'll end up in Updating Binary error while flashing some ROMs.

Errr... TWRP Recovery is the most recommended Recovery everywhere for the hTC Explorer.I just switched over to TWRP 2.6.6 from CWMR recently. Which one do you personally use?
