Hey guys!I'm currently living in Singapore and will be getting a new phone soon.I'm thinking of getting a Milestone 2 because its physical QWERTY keypad and the processor is really tempting!Just some question,is the bootloader locked?Because if possible,I'm going to put a new ROM.Can ROM Manager be used on it?What are your opinions?Because I'm also thinking about the HTC Desire Z.So,please help!Thanks!
[Q] Sense 3.0 & Android 2.3 for LG Optimus 3D? possible?
I'v seen that Sense 3.0 and Android 2.3 seems to be working on LG Optimus 2X...
...I know it's theme, but is there a ROM out what supports all features of Sense 3.0 including lock screen / Gingerbread ?
do you see any customroms in this forum for optimus 3d? no? so there is no sense for o3d at the moment in the whole world
you'll have to w8 till there are the first custom roms and then maybe someone of the developers is bored enough to port sense for the o3d
what about 'importing' from older models into newer models stuff, like import sense 3.0 ROM from Optimus 2X? ...or that's no possible to import such stuff?

well... to port sense you'll have to much more than only to copy some files...
htc sense changes deep layers of android so it's not like one of the launchers from marked, it's much more.
it's really hard to extract sense from a htc-rom and to integrate it to another rom. (different hardware -> different drivers)
so it will take a long time till there is sense rom for o3d...
I don't believe there is a Sense 3.0 ROM for any phone that isn't a HTC phone, nevermind this one which has very limited support so far.
It's possible but it's a LOT of work.

well in fact there are some...
for the galaxy s for example. (still buggy)
the main problem is, that it isn't worth to port port it
sense is nice but there are "better" things worth to port them
I'd love a 100% working Sensation ROM, but I'm not expecting it.

I've installed it and it works (you only have to install some chinese apps to get the full version)...
It's not fully Sense, but it's a lockscreen

Does it support widgets ? at least for messaging?

Just installed the 3.5 Sense Android V2.3.5 Energy Rom on my Evo 4G. I am diggin it but my question is, is there anything that I should add to it? Anything to help benefit the software and/or battery?
Seeing that the Surround and HD2 have the same processor, gpu, and chipset wouldn't the HD2 roms work smoothly on the Surround?
And in that case the HD2 android rom would work on the surround as well.

Well you cannot flash a HD2 ROM as it is to another device despite of the same spec, you might brick your device. Because of the same specs, the ROM might be altered to be flashed on another device.
Sent through Reaper drone using remote console.
But then HD2 rom's would not be that difficult to port over to the Surround.

I would like to raise up this chalenge for any developer that might be crazy enough to do it
I know this phone is getting older but its my phone and i really like it and soon i will not be able to by a new one, so why not upgrade?
No one tried to port sense 4+ to this phone so I´m asking is it possible ?
Why hasn´t anyone tried to port desire x rom to incredible ? i know cpu is diferent but the other specs are identical.
