this isnt really a "hacking" question...
but i didnt know where else to post it...
I'm also not sure if this is a bug, or issue, or "feature" with android...but...
file-managers dont really sort the folders in the root of the SD-card alphabetically ....
actually they kind of do...
but after Z.....they start with A again....
so its like ...2 lists that are sorted seperately...
is there some way to fix this issue?
(ive tried it in 2 different file explorers, and its the same in both)

Hey all, this is driving me nuts, and none of the chefs/modders I've talked to in the X1 department seem to have this one pinned down. Maybe some of you other WM-junkies can help

I've checked win-dir for graphics, dll's for embedded such, and reg values for colorcodes, and none seem to change the value of this last piece of white.
If anyone has a clue as of how to control this, please share the knowledge. Or my X1 will soon look like this one.
Thanks in advance all
Is there a possibility to change the amount of All-Day-events in the upper section of the WM-calendar? Now there are only two events visible, but I want to increase that.

Perhaps nobody knows the answer. Maybe it's even not possible to do it. If anyone can confirm this... I really like to know it. Thanks.
Another bump... Someone must have the skills to answer this...
Got an old nexus s from a buddy who blew out the phone trying to root it hiimself.
Deleted that folder with the phone info.
Anyway I just want it for a gym mp3 player and will be disabling all the phone elements anyway.
Wanted to know if there was a way to actually remove the phone icon in the notifaction tray

Didn't really know where to post this...
Has anyone ever seen this before? Don't know where it came from. I assume tagged along with another app. But it was causing random full screen ads on my wife's phone. It even made ads appear when the screen was off. I was able to remove it effortlessly but it would be nice to know more about it.

If you don't need it, why not uninstall it?

Although I delete that folder with a strange name and its .nomedia file, It renews himself.
I checked the apps (I installed later) and I remove all; but nothing change. Anyone with an idea? Is it a virus?
Although I did wipe data wipe cache etc and reinstall the rom I still see that annoying thing...
What can I do for getting rid of it? The fileI zipped is here
