i need to reupload it...just made the edit to the .zip and posted wrong link...god im noob....found a new link to get themed markets...works with the recent update to the market...at least the blank & green one works with the NeonGT theme, and i got the back and pink market from the same place

you may have to install after but i dont see why you would...these can be flashed or you can move the apk to the system/app folder...either way it works so i dont see why they couldnt be moved into a them and flashed that way

For some reason, whether I use root explorer and force the file in or flash it in a package - mine stays green lol. The apk even shows todays date as date created but no blue amazingness
thats a little wierd...ill look into it a lil more but mine is green and black without a problem

Yea, n this was happening to me a long time ago when I was trying to get a blue one installed, everyone else reported no problems. I've even odin'd once or twice since then so I'm not sure what the deal is but my market hates me

Did you use the ones from the link or did you go to the 2.2.11 link from there? I was a little confused as to which we should use. I can't wait to try this out as this is one of the few things I felt like was missing from our themes.

Since there was a market update just a couple days ago will the update overwrite this our does it just not update? Cool idea but if it goes back to stock every time theres an update that kinda stinks. Could be why bd couldn't get his to stick?

I had to do it this way too except I didn't reboot the second time. Worked perfect. This is a great addition to any theme!

alright i think i ported them over correctly. I used the port script program and then put them into update.zip files using the updater script program
I'm currently backing up my phone and then i'll test them out

yeh i must have missed something, the update zips I created don't install. They get to "installing update" in recovery and just hang there....nothing actually happens

Sorry it didnt work out for you. I always just took the .apk files and pushed them to my phone after running the script. Im still away from my computer but will try as soon as I can

here is your framework man! Make sure that you rename the files to just framework-res.apk. I just renamed them for your convenience!
Take the following steps to put it back on your phone:
USUAL DISCLAIMER: I'm not responsible if you brick your phone...blah blah blah
Connect your phone to your pc in charge only usb mode. Make sure the phone is recognized by your computer. Place the .apk file in the location of your choice.
Command prompt 1:
1) type adb devices (make sure your phone shows up)
2) type adb shell
3) type adb remount
4) type adb push <location of framework-res.apk> /system/framework/framework-res.apk
5) type adb remount
Your phone should reboot, and then be good to go.
I dont use fission, and haven't tested this, but it has worked for me when I have ported ROM's.

What i did was remove the old framwork from the original theme file, re-zipped it and then applied the theme like normal.
then I followed your instructions and applied the framework seperately

i was able to just delete framework from the zip files and install just the themed apps, but when trying to push the framework i'm running into issues. Command keeps telling me adb push not found and adb remount not found

someone over on androidforums ported it for 2.4.X however i don't think he has time to update it for the newest version.
the framework posted earlier is cool, but it's not the entire theme, plus im having troubles pushing it to my device.
An actual update.zip would be brilliant for us "less technical" folk

Instructions:
First, verify that you DO NOT have a vending app in \data\app!!!!! If you do this will not install!!! You will need to uninstall updates before flashing my zip... Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>"ALL" tab>Market>Uninstall Upates
Next, download the file for your phone.. I have verified the first to work for the D1 and the Fascinate. And the Thunderbolt zip has also been verified. The others are blank zips for that particular phone.. if they work for you, PLEASE post so that I can verify that they work....
Once downloaded, move the zip to the root of your SD card and flash in recovery, Enjoy!!!!
Bug?? Some people have found that this will not install on CM7 based ROMs, but it works for others that are running the same ROM so???
And always make a backup first!!!!

but SE Tweak is based on the 4.0.2.A.0.42 stock rom. Its only modded.

SORRY ! It needs root! I thought we had to use CWM recovery to install this , very sorry! You need Root Explorer to set the permissions and move them to correct directorys

unfortunetely since Tekken isnt using the UOT KItchen we have to install it manually , big pain in the arse because everytime i tried with the Samsung theme i kept messing it up... maybe i can try someday to make a flashable zip but honestly , expect a bootloop xD

It's quite easy if you have it rooted... get root explorer or any other root file browser and in my screenshots the one with "Conversations.apk" are the correct permissions to make this work without bootloop.
RW,R,R as most people put it.....
all apps except the framework.apk go into the
system/apps folder.
the framework-res.apk must be RW,R,R or your phone will bootloop, this file goes under
system/framework.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MOVING THE FILES TO /system first then setting permissions then moving them to there respective locations.
Also the media folder can be set on your SD card but the boot animation will have to be moved and replaced in
system/media
it also needs to be RW,R,R.
hopes this clears things up for those.
P.S. bear in mind what version this is for! , i also have no intentions of making this for any other rom/stock rom version sorry.

~ Known Bugs ~
For some reason, sometimes BUT not always when changing backgrounds or color schemes the wallpaper will force close, I am still working on it and it does work. Just go into settings/apps/manage apps/Android Live Wallpaper and clear the data. It will work again after that, but it has not force closed at all while being used/actually running.
The second is when previewing the Xperia background the image will appear cut off to the right, dont be alarmed the Xperia image centers just fine on your home screen (this problem is displayed in the attached img below)

Livewallpaper.apk is a system app I don't believe you can move it unless your using an sd ext of some sort

The link in the op is a zip file for installing in recovery.
I get fc's when changing wallpaper settings to I haven't found why yet :/ but I will look into it soon because I think Google has a newer nexus Lwp and I wanna update it!

Alright, now that I have approval of the devs, I will ATTEMPT to make a flashable zip. All you will have to do is boot into bootmenu and flash to get google now! I got it to instal OK. as long as you follow the directions it's not too bad.
Mine is kinda laggy though. Is yours?

It can be a little buggy at times, but it works fine 90% of the time.

I can confirm (at least on my phone) that Google Now works!! I will not be posting any links until I get this approved by our devs as I've heard some phones don't have enough room in the system partition to install all the lib files. But after fiddling around with it for an hour I got it to work voice search and all. Once I get this approved I will (try to) make a full guide to get this on your phones!!

Alright, now that I have approval of the devs, I will ATTEMPT to make a flashable zip. All you will have to do is boot into bootmenu and flash to get google now! EDIT: CONFIRMED WORKING , booted into custom recovery, flashed, rebooted...
no need to work on this one dude...its already done...
just make sure you're using SCV7 , not stock ICS as you most likely will not have enough room to install..

Alright, seedoubleyou has found a flashable zip that is confirmed to work!!
Instructions:
1.) Reboot into boot menu
2.) Wipe dalvik cache.
3.) Install zip
4.) Reboot!
5.) Enjoy!

Again, you may want to increase the n00b filter and specify only for SCV7 users too... I don't know if my original ICS build was a fluke, but there certainly was more space in /system after I flashed to SCV7.
Does the google now voice search have a offline voice recognition language pack? I can´t seem to download any language pack like the jelly bean users can...and does anybody know what languages the offline recognition works with?
Has anyone else lost ability of speech to text? Google now world with speech but i can no longer have speech to text in my texting.
Edit: working again. Post #2653 from original thread,has help that worked for me. Voice now working for all apps.
Can you use it to open links in the browser?
Opening links is kind of hit and miss sometimes...
Only problem I'm experiencing is sometimes Google Now won't speak back but it shows the correct answers. Any fix?
