BestBuy will honor the 249 price tag as long as you print it out and show it to them there.

Just go to bestbuy.com and click on the weekly ads, it still shows the 249.99 price there, make sure to click on the right ads, the one on the right shows 299.99.

I don't know where the "right" ads are, as the ads to the right show 299, as you say.

If the phone is released after the 2/26 they don't have to honor the $249 price tag, thats when the ad expires.

You can still get it at vzw for $249 after the 26th.

Verizon stores won't even honor thier online prices, what makes you think they will honor BB's prices.

Vzw online will be $299 with a $50 rebate , $249

Best Buy does not pricematch anything when rebates are involved.
Best Buy also reserves the right to make price adjustments.

bestbuy will honor the 249 price! wont say it again! (for pre orders)

I assume its too late to preorder? Altough its not out so...
Then again the ad says 249 after savings. Which I assume is the instant rebate or the upgrade savings?
I guess if you put down $50 and get a gift card of $50, then you still have to pay $200 when you pick it up or $250?

I went to BB in Lafayette, LA last night and was still able to pre-order. Got the 50$ card with it too. Give your local a call. They may have some.

Pretty sure it's release price is going to be 249.00 whether it's release this week or next.

Went by BB today.
I picked up a copy of the ad just in case. The sales guy said the phones are locked up but not yet allowed to sell any. He showed me the boxes. He had no idea when he would be allowed, he said call every day.
I also asked about the preorder and price. He said it will be 249 this week for sure if he can sell them. He said he knew about the 299 change, but he thought it meant it will be 299 with a $50 gift card (instant rebate) bringing it "back to 249". As to preorder, he said the $50 you pay up front gets you a gift card but does not go towards the price. So when you come back you still owe 249 but can use the $50 gift card. So in the end you pay a total of 249 and tax, 50 up front for a gift card, and 200 more and the gift card when you pick it up.
So hopefully in the next couple of days we can start getting them. Although I feel Wirefly and Amazon will have them for less, maybe 149-199 and no tax. We'll see.

Cheapest out of contract price?

Just sold my iPhone a good hefty amount Wheres the best place to get out of contract pricing? 400 isnt much, but I've heard of people getting it for 300? Anyone know where?
Also, my two year ends 02/26/2011, do I qualify for the upgrade pricing from Costco which is 79.99 or do I have to wait until that date?
Alex
Yeah, go to Costco and ask them if you qualify for the early upgrade right now. If not, wait until the 26th... its a great price. ($79) I tried yesterday but they turned me down for an early upgrade, told me to go to the corporate store, and I can get it there. Try your luck!
Would love to know where I can buy one online at a reasonable price with no service contract.
att.com don't sell them without a service contract so that is out
AT&T stores have it retailed for 399.99 without commitment. They probably need more than a few in stock to sell it to you but that's the cheapest I have seen.
Just got mine today from ATT off contract $399 seems to be the cheapest right now anywhere. Seems kinda odd that they wouldn't sell u one.

Seen eBay prices as low as $320. Could probably dip below $300 in a week. I trust eBay more than say, small obscure handset websites, because I've never had a problem bidding on a phone and getting what I wanted in a timely manner, but when it came to an actual online retailer, they would give me the run-around on shipping or send me a defective product.
sometimes http://www.wirefly.com has good deals on early upgrades.
Just got mine at BB for 324 plus tax. That was no contract price.
I got a pretty good early upgrade yesterday.
I have 2 lines, 1 shows ready for upgrade and the other addon line shows eligible on 4/24/11. Contract is up in August.
I went to a corporate store and they said 99 for the normal upgrade and 399 for the other.
I went home and called customer service and got the same story.
I then asked them what charges I would have if I cancel my account early.
They told me and after a couple of min. they gave me the retention rep.
Ended up getting 2 new Inspires, free shipping, for 79.99 each!

The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters.
Att store used an early upgrade for a non data enabled line for us and it was $300 and put on the data enabled line for me, but then i gave it to my wife. THEN the data stopped working for her line and we had to call and explain because there was something that needed to be enabled on her line for the 4g phone, EVEN though att was out of the 4g cards. So we have to go back to the store to get the 4g card i was supposed to get, but going to get for her line now.
Untill i buy another one. Maybe today. But that will probably be the full 400 price. Ill check bestbuy store see if its cheaper

Great price for the G2X at Costco !!!

Hey guys, the G2X is now here, and guess what - I just got mine today from Costco.
The price was $149 after $50 mail-in rebate. For an upgrade. And it came with everything that comes from t-mo, but it also came with an extra car charger, leather pouch, and a bluetooth device. It was a great surprise for me, and if you are waiting for the right moment to get the G2X - now would be a good time.
Go to your local costco and get that badboy!

If you want to get it off contract - its the same price in costco as it is in T-Mobile store. Your best bet is to go and look for it in craigslist, as they do have good deals sometimes. But if its over 500 - dont buy it, just get a new one for a few more bucks, and you will know that if something happens - you can return.
Wow, they list it as $399 retail but no option to purchase online for retail...

I called Costco yesterday and the guy said that they won't be getting the phone for a couple of weeks! I guess he doesn't know what he's talking about.
oh and btw, costco will not sell the phone off contract. your better off just getting it at tmo
Got mine yesterday at a T-Mo store.
They discounted the phone to $450 and gave me $95 in accessories for $65.
$515 plus tax.
Even More Plus, no sweat.
I am a Costco Manager so hopefully I can shed some truths.
1. Wireless advocate our subcontract company (owned by CarToys WA) is stocking the g2x. Stores should have received an initial shipment of 5 phones yesterday and another 5 today. If they claim they dont have phone, ask them to check stock. I bet its in receiving dock area.
2. The phone is available to non-contract customers for $399.99. The issue is that the employees do not get a commission for non contract sales. So many times they will refuse to sell full price for a couple weeks so they can get there spiffs. HOWEVER Costco is customers are always first. If you demand, go find an acutual Costco manager and have them assist you with Kiosk personal. That brings me to point 3.
3. Be prepared if in a state that has sales tax to pay tax on full $399.99 This is our policy unless you buy online at Costco.com. But you can use this to your advatage if buying full price and they refuse. Say well than how come upgrade customers have to pay tax on full price. Remind them you know that they are required by Costco to sell Tmobile phones at full price. No other brands in Costco Cell kiosk are sold to non contract. Only Tmobile and that is why the full tax issue. You just need to push and you can get it full price.
4. Best thing is you are protected for 90 days with your phone. You can return, exchange phone for any reason. I use my first phone as a test phone. I test the hell out of it and return for keeper phone before the 90 days is out. Plus if a better phone comes out I get that. Love the 90 days!
Hope this helps!

Let us know if it works, Ill do the same thing then
just came back from walmart and yes they priced match with no issues and no restock fee.. did not know about the cotsco deal , smh.. o well. truthfully i do not think they match wholesale outlets anyway.. maybe sams would.
Just came from Walmart.
After showing Costco Membership card, they matched the price to $499 and I did an exchange due to a dead pixel in my first phone...
darn, good job... congrats
by the way my new phone will not sound upon notification.. a text for example.. it rings fine when someone calls me . but texts stay silent.. any ideas?
Huh, i'm a Costco member, and I didn't know they were selling the Sensation so low.
I hate contracts (and am on TMo with a Nokia on Even More +). But, i was going to go for hte contract by stacking the SENSATION50 code with Saturday's Father's Day promo. That's $170 savings.
Even More + (off contract) will only save me $15 a month = $360. Add the cost of the phone upfront, and I am at break even.
Might as well not spend $500 today. Unless, of course, I need to break the contract, then i would be $200 down by going with the contract.
Decisions, decisions....
So do I need an actual print ad from T-Mobile when I go to walmart? Or will they honor online prices?

If you have an unlimited data plan and you try to order from Amazon you can only upgrade to the new All Share BS. So if you want to keep your current plan and pay for the new data packages you can't use them. For example I have a 450 minute plan and all I needed to do was change data packages with VZW but Amazon couldn't do that.
Thanks for the heads up!

$100 off AT&T Galaxy S4 Promo

I was doing some searching through the Premier offers and I found this promo for $100 off the At&t Galaxy S4. It says it works with Upgrade customers. I have had two lines with ATT since 1995, and both lines expire this month and next. I called in and directly asked for retention. First level customer service can't really make offers. Once I was on with retention, I simply asked for credit for being a dedicated customer. Actually, I joked about it and asked for $1000. She laughed, took a few minutes and offered the credits. She was very nice. I wish they would have given me a survey after the call, but they didn't. I would have rated her very highly. Not only due to the credits, but because she really was a delight to talk to. :good:
