Ok im trying to make a boot animation of the Ubuntu logo shaking a little while rotating 6 degrees every 1/20 of a second at 40 fps with 19 frames for about ten loops. What im getting is jerky and nothing like the GIF i made of all the frames. The actual thing is supposed to be about 3x the GIF's speed.(Below) Below that is a video link to show the problem and attached is the bootanimation.zip.

The way i have the desc.txt setup is the best i can get to work:
It's
430 430 40
p 1 0 part0
p 1 0 part0
p 1 0 part0
p 1 0 part0
p 1 0 part0
p 1 0 part0
p 1 0 part0
p 1 0 part0
Reformatting that simply to the following does the same thing but with white flashes:
430 430 40
p 10 0 part0
So it should be clear im missing something...

INSTALLATION (my way)
1 - Download.
2 - Backup your existing bootanimation.zip in system/media/ if needed.
3 - Copy bootanimation.zip to system/media/ and overwrite existing .zip (use ES File Explorer or Root Explorer etc.)
4 - Reboot and see!
You can also push via adb but it dosent allow me.
BACKGROUND INFO
This was created on Cinema 4D using a model and animating the arm and head to move. This took a few hours so id appreciate you clicking the thanks button etc.
This is my first boot animation, so comments are appreciated. :good:

use cpu-z application for android, and I saw the other three cores are disabled
Also check the file via console
/ sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online
/ sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/offline
and result
0
1-3
respectively
This is correct, and it means that the phone is not at capacity
there any way to activate them?
Regards
The cores switch off when not needed to save power. Once you do something intensive like play a game, they will activate.
understand
and investigate more
're right
Now I have one more doubt
when I change the frequency I guess that applies to all cores or otherwise applies only to the core 0
OC and I think that this is only applying to core 0, because only in / sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq, files are frequently and for example in / sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1 /
there are no such files.
any ideas?

When you change the frequency of the cpu, it affects all the cores and not only one...

very important - when you are compressing your bootanimation.zip, you MUST use "store" as compression level. this archives the files into the zip without compressing them at all (see below).
i have attached a fixed version of your bootanimation also.
impeccable,
you are great,
thank you very much
I created this boot animation, frame by frame via photoshop.
A more modern style, with the forced "powered by android" text.
Its just a quick&dirty test for now and I might work on it again next weekend.
The LG logo itself is not made by me. I found on an old USB Stick of mine and Im not sure where I took it from, back then.
Because I did not pay attention, it is now 350x735, but I'll might redo it in 480x800 again.

Have mercy, this is my 1st try on animating.
p.s.
Im on nameless KitKat ROM 4.4.4 and when I want to add sound I add "lgubi.ogg" to desc.txt
and copy the "lgubi.ogg" to system/media and/or system/media/audio/ui. (setting permissions to rw-r-r-), it wont play the sound.
350 735 24
p 0 0 part0
s lgubi.ogg
Renaming it to "PowerOn.ogg", even if there never was a "PowerOn.ogg" does not help here. (desc.txt will have added PowerOn.ogg added ofc)
Also, can I use a background image (full screen) and just put the animation (small circle) on top of it ? That would avoid a lot of "big" images to be loaded.
Not work for my ics rom

The lone new wallpaper appears to be a picture of earth taken from space – just another reason to think that Android M won’t be called Marshmallow but instead will be called Android Milky Way.
Here are the other 10 default wallpapers found on the developer preview of Android M (but that also appeared in Android L)
