[Q] [REQ] direct 2G/3G Power Toggle on X10

Is it possible to make this work on the X10?:

Switching 2G/3G through the menus is very annoying. Or is there any other workaround for this?

Have you tried the app on the link?
Does it work?

I use switchpro widget. It's just like the original power toggle widget that comes with the phone but more features. Get it from the market.

Switchpro only calls the network menu too, or did i miss something? A more direct 2g/3g switch would be nice
Yes, i tried to install it with xrecovery, flashing without problems. After sucessful boot, the power bar is gone and on long tabbing an empty place on the desktop, nothing happens anymore :-\

Na SwitchPro gives you a button to toggle the data connection i.e 2g/3g
The button in the middle is called 'Data Connection' and not 2G/3G. But that's what it does, turns 3G on/off

It turns the data connection on and off, but thats not what i want, i want to switch directly between 2g and 3g.

Data toggle switch doesnt work?

Iv noticed that the mobile data toggle switch in the power widget doesnt work??....anybody else noticed this?,im on my 3rd NS and everyone has been the same,not a major thing i know just i like to turn mine off when not using mobile data,and the mobile data toggle is a handy widget,it doesnt work on the Power widget that comes with the phone or any of the beautiful widget toggles...tut..someone help...

Like the title says, Is there an app to control automatically 3g/2g toggle and autosync on/off toggle while the phone is suspended? I tried Juice Defender Ultimate, but the 3g/2g toggle doesnt seems to work on ICS...
It would be awesome after 5 minutes with my screen off, for the phone go into suspension, syncing some non vital apps every 15 minutes, and toggling just to 2g for some vital stuffs

Hi, anyone got any idea if it's possible to disable the popup notifications when toggling mobile hotspot and data using the pull-down menu, and if so how? Thanks.

is there any way to turn mobile data on / off quickly? tried many power toggle widgets. they only take to the data usage menu.

If you slide down the notification panel and tap the mobile network icon, the switch is on the right. No need to go into the data usage menu.

my device is dual sim variant and there isn't this switch you mentioned in stock rom.
