[updated|rc3] AWDLauncher [very cool] [screenies]

was looking for some themes for Zens port and i stumbled on this.

you can flash the .zip threw recovery as it only adds the launcher.apk.
rc3 came it and its looking better then ever.

Try it. It's far different than helix. First off its intuitive to use. Second its in a different class of programming.

i know i couldnt ask for more. i cant wait till this guys makes a "stable" version lol.
the only thing i noticed is in landscape with 7-6 row icons the names get blocked. come to think of it i havent had this launcher fc on me yet.

i pushed the apk threw SUFBS and it seems to be working fine.
still beta unstable ect ect, but its a nice change.

It's blue black theme

SUFBS is an app from the market. It's a file manager and terminal utility.

[ROM] [BETA] Pancake 2.2 (Froyo)

Note: This ROM is VERY beta, and not everything is working (yet). This rom is based on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=795444 (which I'm also helping with). This ROM, at the moment, is not much different than the wildfire port, but it is a work in progress, and ment to be very Sprint-like (like the other Pancake ROMs).

Edit: Successfully flashed and setting up now. Will post results shortly. -- Besides minor graphical changes that still need to be made and a defunct keyboard I had to pull out it's a good build, man a lot of progress has been made on this pretty quickly. Can't wait to see the end product.

It's stock rosie, not much different
It's VERY fast though, pancake speed plus froyo's speed improvements...
If I could just get GPS working...

Man, JUST as I got AOSP all set up how I like it you go and drop this bomb on us and I find myself going RIGHT back to Sense. I'll be flashing first thing in the morning! Good work!

I'm in the same boat. Flashed, themed and changed settings on it all day yesterday, and now this. But OFCOURSE I'm gonna give it a shot.
Who knows, maybe it'll blow me away.

Yes same with me. FC on HTC_IME. Had to shut down the process and uninstall the keyboard. Installed Betterkeyboard and it seem to work.

anyone wanna post a keyboard i can flash to recovery? I don't have ADB set up so I can't push anything, nor do I know how. I know some you can flash through recovery. That's all I want. THanks

Pancake 1.5 was the last ROM I used - I have to adbmit it was one of the most stable for me. I'll be looking foward to giving this a try later tonight.

Can't wait for this. Pancake 1.5 was my favorite rom!

Tried it out. Still a little laggy. Don't like the launcher, honeycomb launcher is sweet the way it is.

Its launcher2 I'll start adding ADW for u guys so you can be happy and Spyder and I r now hooking up most devs dont like it so i was just hoping he would and he is going to allow me to join him.

thats called launcher 2 the density fix breaks it and it will keep FCing because its ment for a bigger res screen.

So the density issue is why you can't use the honeycomb launcher?

I think we'll have kernel problems, but that would be awesome. Apparently the Desire Z Gingerbread kernel works well on the G2, but the Desire HD Gingerbread kernel does not work well on the MT4G. I wonder why.

Yeah, I would think porting a fully functioning Sense 3.0 rom would be at the top of the devs' lists right now. It's hot, it's new, and whomever brings us the first working version will be heralded as the "dev of the hour" - and receive endless thanks from us flashers!
I, for one, know that if/when this becomes available, it'll finally make me flash back from AOSP.

There is one about 95% functional....thats a secret though.

I'm workin' on porting it right now and will post a link up in Dev section hopefully before the end of the night. keep in mind it'll be an alpha release and will most likely be some bugs to work out. Basically this is a coming soon post
EDIT: Not releasing on here due to not wanting the dev section to be filled with these

That's one thing listed as not working.. I'm probably going to be using rafyvitto's port as a base.

the fusion rom has the lock screen aps working.

Mine are working fine, even the live wallpapers in the lockscreen work.

I couldn't get the video player to work kept force closing. rom manager couldn't reset permissions. It was a good rom though I like sense 3.0 but still a little buggy though

great refrence post. you might want to change the title to something more search friendly, like ALL ROMS/KERNELS (date)
that way people know whats in it and when it was last updated.
