My phone is stating that Android.process.acore has stopped unexpectantly. I tried resetting to factory settings. Now I am getting a black screen and unable to do anything. The usb will not connect to the computer. Please help if you can.
EDIT: I was able to maneuver the phone to the browser and then got into the market to download astro and rom manager so I was able to root it again and restore the backup i made before the reset. But still I get the error message. I'm going to restore to an earlier backup to see if that fixes the problem.
so what did you do?
to ultimately fix the problem... I have restored to several backups - and still the same problem.
hey guys i picked up a gtab a couple days ago and rooted it last night. i have clockworkmod, tntlight, launcherpro, titaniumbackup, market and flash up on it by following the instructions from another part of the forum. everything was going great until a couple hours ago when i was using google in the browser and i got a force close message. i tried to restart the browser a couple times with the same message so i turned my gtab off and attempted to restart it. it got to the gtab screen on startup then kicked back to the birds. im assuming this is whats called a boot loop. is there any easy way to make this gtab usable again with the same mods i had on before or is it bricked for good?
It's not bricked. Search for boot recovery. Nvflash, restore etc...

Not bricked. Go to clockwork, advanced, partition sdcard and choose 2048, and 0 swap. Something about these tablets seems to like to corrupt the partition. Once fixed, it should be ok.
No you're not bricked for good. Where there's a will there's way.
... looks like that will work ^
Note, a partition will erase all that you have on your "sdcard" or your gtab, that's what it partitions.
i did the partition and it boots up to the tntlite screen where i need to create a google account ... then it asks me to connect to wifi when i hit connect it says "the application Google Services Framework (processcom.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again.....if i hit force close it kicks me back to the connect to wifi screen .. any ideas on what i can do from here?

Without really knowing what is, or has been on your tablet I would suggest going back into clockwork and doing a "wipe data/factory reset", and a "wipe cache partition".
ok so if i do that it will be set back to stock but will i still have root access?

It won't go back to stock like when you bought it. It will just reset back to like when you first put whatever rom you have on it.
oh ok so i dont need to put tnt lite 2.2 back on it should be set already.. just need to do flash and market fix.. thanks for the replies
dannny_b,
And when you get to the Google login thing, just don't do it until your wifi is up and running!!!
Rev
Do a data wipe on recovery. Then when it ask to sign in, skip it and connect through wifi later. This is of course assuming you partitioned the SD card correctly.
After that you can sign in using Gmail or market and you can attempt to do the market fix, if it is not already fixed.
Hello everybody !
I have a huge problem here with my NS, I hope you could help me : I installed this CM7 Final 3 days ago, and everything was fine until I decided to do Nandroid backup. The backup went fine, but when the phone has reboot, I had immediatly this error message : "Sorry, the process com.android.phone has suddenly stopped. thanks to try again". Abd this message appears every 3 seconds, anbd I can't do anything....plus I have no signal, no radio, no network. Another strange point is that we I reboot the phone, it never ask me to enter my PIN code .....
First thing I did was to restor my system from Rom Manager, but the same problem appeared. Then I tried to restore the system manually with the recovery, and same problem.
I don't what to do now ; the only solution I imagine now is to wipe everything and reinstall CM7 .....but I wish I could find another way...
Thanks for your kind help (and sorry for my english, I'm french).
I have got a pop up message "Sorry -The process com.android phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." This pop up will not go away at all it appears straight after I press force close. This means I can not access any of the setting on the phone. I believe my SD may be corrupt, as when I try to system restore it just goes to reboot.
I have tried several things like trying to reinstall clockworkmod so I can get to the system restore but the phone just keeps jumping to the boot screen.
I have read in other threads about similar problems and use md5sum to check if I have the correct versions to install. I believe that many if not all data on SD is missing or corrupt. My phone is a brick and I dont have a clue where to start.
I have a orange San Francisco which was running japanese jellyfish 2.2.
All help gratefully welcome
Basically is there any way to wipe my SD card then install what I need onto it, then place into the phone to access the phones system restore to then reinstall every thing or at least access the phone to reset it.
Been looking for hours on the forums but have not been able to find anything related.
I started working with the toolkit today and I manage to root my Nexus 4.
I did a backup before hand as I know everything gets deleted.
After rooting I tried to restore 1. the back up and 2 the backup to my sd card.
While restoring the back up, when restoring the quicksearch box for google, the app stop respoding and it gave me an error message and the option to report and top the app.
When I did stop the app, the restoring process got stuck there for an hour and nothing happened. I wiped the phone and started again to restore and the same thing happened. after a few minutes it appear like the restoring process ended but I didnt see all my apps there and it kept crashing.
Anoother thing is that I wasnt able to find the restore data from my sdcard either.
Has anybody seen any similar issue like this.
thanks,
