I noticed when playing some rm and rmvb files, the picture is a little lagging. The video player I used is RockPlayer. Anyone else has the same issue? What video player do you use?
Also, I'm not able to find PdaNet. How to enable tethering? Thanks.
Try arcMedia in the market

guys for some reason i cannot get either of these media players to play any videos, they both go to open a video, then jump back to the file explorer i started out trying .AVI videos but decided to try .3GP as its a native codec in android, even though the default gallery app can play the .3GP videos, rockplayer and Vplayer cannot anyone else having the same issues or is it just me
Can't help you with those players.
I use mvideo player and that works a treat.

will it play all my .AVI videos? i cant be bothered converting them all to .3GP haha
No it won't
Rockplayer latest version is working perfect for me...
Even with placebo streaming from my pc
Use moboplayer. It'll allow you to watch everything, including mkv files that have subtitles. I use it for anime and movies.
Although, some of my files won't play right if they're mkv in 720p.. the rest are fine
Sent from my R800a
I had loads of issues with Rockplayer and Vplayer. I'm using ArcMedia now, works flawlessly. Plays flv files downloaded from YouTube etc. Also plays srt subtitles.
Moboplayer will also play embedded .ass subs.

I can't figure out how to play a video file with alternate audio, such as DVD commentary, on the xoom. I'm sure the mp4 file has the alternate audio tracks embedded because my brother can play it on his ipad
I have the stock player, moboplayer & rockplayer lite... is there any way to do this?
thanks!
Seriously is there no way to do this? I hate to concede to my brother that the iPad is better in some way.
Dice player
Hopefully someone can help me with this error I can't find a solution anywhere. I'm using xbmc on my transformer and it's set to use MX player to play most of the video on it. My only issue is that for all youtube videos mx Player keeps giving me "can't play this video" all other types of videos work fine. Is there a fix that I can apply that will allow mx player to play youtube streams? If not, is there a way I can set in the playercorefactory.xml to use the internal DVDplayer for only youtube streams and mx player for everything else? Is anyone else experiencing the same issue with MX player and youtube streams? Any help would be appreciated

I couldn't view any You Tube videos, so I sideloaded flash onto my transformer. This wasn't too successful, so then I downloaded the new YouTube app which is working fine.
As for your xbmc problem - I don't have the app, just know it is a multi media center/player.

Sorry, no. I was able to see video in the YouTube app whereas before I couldn't get any video to play in any browser. I know I had to sideload flash onto my TF101 - so whether it helped may also be a factor.
alright, so i find myself in same boat. Only thing is, I cant play Dailymotion videos which gives me same error using xbmc+mx player combo. have you found any solution?, I tried BS Player, Dice Player and making sure they were the external players by changing playercorefactory.xml file. but still no luck. I also tried switching decoder under mxplayer and all other players to only use hw decoder or sw decoder, but no luck.
I believe that the problem is that I need to deinterlace the video file, anyone know some video player that deinterlace on the minix 7?
