SO .... for the start i will be short....
I am quite a newb in SE's and Android's.
I was experimenting with my SE x10 mini and went in some troubles.
Everything was right i rooted it .... did a SD partition for a2sd to work
did many things to the phone. The problem is that i think i bricked it
when i tried to update it via xRecovery (i was getting a new theme).
It updated it but allways only shows while booting the white SE logo...
cant do anything.... can somebody help me? (PC comp is dumb.... i followed
many threads nothing helps....)
btw: i tried the repair phone button in SEUS but in the step "downloading" it tells me that there is no software for me atm....

i installed a 2.2 froyo in my xperia, all was ok, after i deleted the file from the sd to delete 2.2 and return to my old 2.1, i had a problem in statup, the phone bug and dont read the sd or the SIM card only if i press the 3 boton when i see sonyericsson logo.
i tried to reflash the 2.1 in the phone, but now the phone bug in startup, i have just a black screen with sonyericsson, if i press the 3 boton, it go tel the logo sonyericsson and bug ther.
i tried without the SD, the same problem, plz help me

i just cant get into the recovery menu. what am i doing wrong?
I just bought my x10i firmware 2.1-update1
2.0.A.0.504.
i Rooted my phone using the new superoneclick.
installed busybox succesfully
installed xrecovery succesfully.
tried 100 times pressinf the back button 3 times on the SE LOGO.
But it freezes on the logo screen or it just boots up the phone.
I even tried the method to install the 3 files into the bin file.
But after this its the same,

The 1 u posted is X10 mini. I din c before i run it. Now my hp cant boot up anymore.
What do you mean HP?
the title says X10? Why would you try it on a HP?

Now we know for sure, that xRecovery is dangerous if we don't know how to handle it
i havent met any problem entering the xrecovery menu even when i first installed it even though i was a complete noob on android (now i am just noob)
only thing i was doing is that i never pressed the back button only 3 times, i always keep pressing it until i get the xrecovery menu
Yes, keep pressing the back button until you enter the XRecovery menu.
If it still fails then I would revert my phone to the STOCK SE ROM (basically means repairing your phone using Sony Ericsson's PC Companion or Update Service utility), and then use FlashTool to root the device and install Busy Box and XRecovery.
FlashTool is basically an all in one solution and is less painful to use for beginners. Just do a search for it in the XDA forums.

Hey guys i had my phone rooted and with xRecovery and all of the good stuff and with like wolfpacks old Rom, I wanted to reformat my phone and make it clean again with at&t 2.1 firmware after i tried doing it on PC companion... it keep rebooting and rebooting and at first i though it was just installing the update, but now it is just rebooting when the logo pops up it restarts again need help! any ideas?
i think u can go for flashtool easy to find in this forum .daownload it together with the rom + baseband if needed.intruction is all in this forum

I downloaded a new ROM for my x10 mini pro and i did a factory restore via CWM then i selected install zip for SD card and selected MINICM7 2.1.6 after that the installation began. I did not flash my phone. after that i got a message. Kernel nAa something like that not found and it proceeded with installation.
Then when my phone restarted It got stuck at the SE logo. I cannot get into CWM menu. or do a reset(Power + home). Then Connected my phone to my PC over the USB. it showed a unmounted drive and told me to mount it via the phone. But, I cannot do so as I can do absolutely nothing with the phone. I pulled off the battery and then connected it while pressing the back key a greed light lit up. And my phone said -"Connected to Sony ericsson phone" (without showing the model). Soon the green light disappeared by itself and my PC connection broke too. I tried several times but the same thing happened. I tired looking for SEUS for x10 mini pro- But. the SE site told me that the software wasn't available for my phone . PLZ I really need your experience and help. PLZ help. I greatly appreciate it.

looks like you got into a bit of trouble can you get into recovery or anything
try accessing your phone through abd maybe that would help

I am a new user and can't post links but Google what alexyaz said to help guide you through, search something like hot to access abd to install ROM. also if you need your original software Google search the model of your phone with stock ROM.
Once you fix it due try to read all directions a few times when implementing a new ROM to make sure you don't get any unneeded errors
Hey. I got bootloops in my old sony ericsson w900i.
When i attempt to boot it, screen starts to flash white and the phone goes on and off till the battery dies.
I tried to search for sony ericsson w900i firmware, but i had no luck.
Anyone knows where i could find firmware and correct flashtool for this phone?

I had to tape nokia c2-01's battery to w900i cause the phone wont charge its own battery xD.
I succesfully flashed new fw with XS++, but that didnt solve the problem.. It still has bootloops.
Any idea how to fix this?
Alright i got my w900i to work again..Problem solved : )
See if you could somehow get in too recovery.. (GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND ASK HIM..)
