Have flashed my HTC HD2 to android 2.2. Froyo and have finally got rid of that buggy WinMo...
Everything is fine but, need help in knowing the name of the app which can change the default installation location of all the further installation to SD Card as system is very low in memory....

Hello guys am having an htc hd2 with android 2.2 running currently. But initially i put windows phone 7 on it. I installed the android by just running the android daf file over the windows and its working fine but the problem is that when i check the internal storage my availabe memory is 11mb, this is affecting me because i cant install apps bigger than 11mb. So plz how do i clear the internal phone memory.

I currently have Leedriod installed in my HTC Inspire 4g and i love it. But onlything i am trying to get working is the A2sd. If i am reading everything correctly this is so everything i download goes onto my SD not my storage on my phone, if this is true this is exactly what i want i dont want to pile crap onto my phone to make it slower.
I am having trouble Partition my micro sd card, i am going to the store tomorrow after work to get a microsd card reader so i can access it easier through my computer instead of plugging it into the phone.
Now i did the whole Partition on the rommanager but it didnt work i still only have 1 8gig area no 512 or anything else. Or did it work and i just dont see it?
I guess my question is What am i doing wrong. I partition my card through rommanger (after i installed leedriod and kernel) Then after i did partition through rommanager i booted into recovory and launched the A2sd Patch. And its still downloading market apps to my phone and not to storage.
Please help!
I believe you manually move over the apps from phone to sd card via the A2sd app. open the A2sd app and you can see which app can be moved to the sd
i used cyanogenmod 7 on my htc hd2 for a long time and enjoed it, but something went wrong and all applications on sd card were deleted. in short i reinstalled the original windows 1.66 build inorder to reinstall cyanogenmod, however i couldnt install spl2.08 necessary to install magldr and spl 3.03 persisted on my device ,so the question is how to reinstall spl2.08? help please i dont want to go back to windows again after enjoying android!!!!! moreover my phone says no sd card although itis formatted and mounted!!!!!
Have you tried a different SD card? This sounds straight up like a failed (or failing) SD card.
I have a HTC sensation rooted w/ android version 4.0.3, HTC sense version: 3.6, and using the ROM Android Revolution HD 7.1 XE by mike.
The issue I have with the phone is my 32gb SD card somehow cannot be read by my gallery app, gmail app, zedge, etc therefore causing many apps to crash. However, I can read the files just file using "ES File Explorer".
I can see all the folders, all the apps just fine and even see the pictures I took using the phone (however gallery will not show any photos).
I can even play music using ES file Explorer.
I have tried fixing it by factory resetting it but it works for about 3 weeks then boom it's back to this.
The issue I think is with the ROM recognizing my phone as it knows it has 32gb SD card but when I go into make more space option it says Temporary files from HTC apps-11.75 gb rather than having it all in different options...showing it does not know which one goes to which one.
I'm really puzzled and haven't been able to find anything on this. I know there is no issue with SD card.

did you reboot the device to see if it recognizes anything by the apps?
I think that if u got apps crash, your sdcard isn't read by your System...try to give us what ure Storage menu feel if it got or not your sd card
Try another SD card in your phone mate. Just had this exact problem with my desire. Case could be accessed be a file explorer and my pc but phone just kept saying it was corrupt. Changed SD card, problem solved.
