They look the same, and I doubt Samsung will make a different battery just for it, so most likely yes.

I'd rather you get the Galaxy Y instead .
It's about the same as the Galaxy Ace .

Hi, I'm looking at getting a new phone and I'm tossed up between the two. Which one is better - performance wise and battery wise? Factor in custom rom and kernal combinations seeing as those can change battery life drastically.
Thanks.
They are quite similar performance wise. I depends what your preferences are. For example if you use your phone as a camera, then the SII is the better choice. Also the Nexus has a better batery, but also has a bigger screen and higer resolution(much higher). When roms are taken into account they will both be able to run the same kernels, so it probably wont differ that much. What you must know though is, the Nexus wil alwys have updates from google asap, while with the sgsII you will have to wait for the devs to implement new stuff.
Go for Galaxy Nexus
S2 is old now

That is good to know, I was debating on getting the Galaxy S2 to replace my Galaxy 4g, but maybe I will just go for the Nexus instead.
SGS2 to common..Better go for Nexus..Nexus screen is nice
Yeah, I would also go with Nexus especially that now the battery issue is solved. Recently got myself a 4000mAh battery from Mugen Power for i9250 [HLI-i9250XL]
they also have a 2000mah that fits OEM socket.

Hi community of xda , I have a little question about two incredibles cell phones.
They are Samsung Galaxy SII and Samsung Galaxy Nexus , I am able to buy one of this , but I am not sure which is better , for this I am here and ask my question.
I want to see opinions of the people and with this I will buy one of the two.
Sorry for my poor english.
Thank you
From these nexus is better..because performance and display is better than s2.and the benefit of nexus is you will get the update of OS on time...sure...
Xperian8~ click thanks if it helps...
This should help you, check here.
Both have a huge community and lots of custom stuff to play with.
The display is nice and performance is not that different either.
Both phones have ICS available.
The biggest drawback of the nexus is no extra SD slot.
If that is not an issue, pick the one you think looks the best.
Edit: Price is currently the same for both on amazon too.
You can't really go wrong with either one.
WARNING:
I'm assuming you have the choice between the i9100 and i9250.
But if the choice is between the i9100G (Current batch of SGS2 being produced) and i9250, take the i9250 (gnexus).

You should compare them on gamarena. I've had a little go on the SII and it's alright but I don't really like the look and feel of it. I've never tried the Galaxy Nexus before but it looks like it is a very good phone. The Galaxy Nexus has a slightly bigger screen (I like big screens) so I'd personally choose the Nexus. Also the I think the SII is slightly overrated and the Nexus is kind of hiding around the corner because a lot of people think that the SII is the best and blah blah without thinking about other phones (This is my personal opinion so please don't hate).

Samsung Galaxy SII without any doubt.
Nexus
Galaxy Nexus... No doubt and if you really want to you can go compare it at "gsmarena.com"
Buy Samsung Galaxy SII it's better and it has ICS update
Hey guys, a friend of mine bought a Samsung Infuse but it didnt come with a battery. I have a new Samsung i9100 battery and I was wondering if this will fit/work in his Samsung Infuse?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Unless the size and contacts match up, I'd say no.
Hello guys
Samsung Galaxy Nexus or Samsung Galaxy S2 ?
Please answer and please tell me the reason for ..
Thanks
S2
For me S2 is apsolutely the best phone I ever used. Highly customable so you can get performances very similar to S3, if not better and it looks more as a phone and less as a tablet :cyclops:
I would have to agree the S2 imho is the better of the two.
A lot of support for custom roms...
A VERY stable phone as it is...
And performance wise, it's really quick even on stock ROMs..
My wife has an S2 (non-LTE), running stock 4.1.2.. it's FAST.. and that's saying something for stock ROMs..
Stock 4.1.2 on my Galaxy Note is garbage.. one of the reasons I HAD to root it, etc..
Plus my buddy has a Nexus.. and I've noticed when doing stuff with ROMs etc.. having an SD card slot, removable battery, etc is nice when modding if errors come up..
