I know it is the same to HTC, but maybe GSM software, GSP software is difference.

There should be no reason why it can't be updated. The old ipaq got a update.

Guys, there is currently no 6.5 ROM out and I doubt there will ever be one since the Data Messenger was discontinued November 2009. (In other words, none are gonna be made anymore, those around are the last ones).
I think all you guys want is a phone with more eye candy and touch friendlier. So I recommend these apps that I have on my Data Messenger to make it awesome:
SPB Mobile Shell
Opera Mobile 10 (Free)
Resco Explorer
Resco Photo Manager (Or you can go with the free HTC Album App)
HTC Dialer (Free)

Hi, thanks for that list, I already installed mobile shell and the phone is a lot more usable and stable but still it sometimes crashes.
I gather that HP won't release any new version for it, but I was hoping that someone here would try to cook a rom for it.

but now is a bit slow...
i can cook a rom but i can't find resources;
what kind of program i need? and about compatibility or driver?

Dunno what phone you have but the touch hd has a "internet sharing" option in the list of programs. Lets you select usb or bluetooth and what connection to share. Works for me on 6.1

I've been trying desperately to get WM 6.5 to work on my i760 for quite some time, without success. I have gotten TouchFlo 2D to work on it it, but only to a certain degree. Has anyone else had any luck with putting WM 6.5 on their Samsung SCH-i760? Any input is greatly appreciated!
