Adam browser - G Tablet General

So I've downloaded and installed the adam browser but for some reason it eventually uninstalls and reverts to the default browser anyone else having this problem?

Yes, i have the same problem... dont know why it does it either.
Sent from my VEGAn-TAB-v1.0.0B5.1 using Tapatalk

Figured it out just use root explorer then goto system/app set r/ backup default browser then delete it now copy adam browser to system/app then install it will stay installed same works for all the other apps.

Thx bro

FC for me.. and its only 600 kb in size where as the original apk was 2.4 mb..
nothing dear ,just rippd from a frnds galaxy s advance, working fast as hell
I don't know what a hell is done with the original apk but this works perfect for me!
Video playback is a video player work, not 3Dgallery. When you select a video into the 3Dgallery it redirect you to the default video player...

ROM has to be rooted, you must use Root Explorer or any File Explorer with root permissions.
And don't forget to mount system as R/W

Try pushing the stock gallery to /System/app and do a reboot. You will see the gallery app.

I have tried this multiple times and every time it says "not installed" no matter where the apk is located, not even in the proper folder.

you should not install this, you need to place it in /system/apps/ folder using Root Explorer and restart the mobile.....

Two Questions

Hi, i'm just wondering how do I move file such as movie file into SD card? I recently rooted my tablet and using cm9 rom. With the stock rom i used the my file(file manager) app, it came with the tablet.
Also anyone knows how to delete core apps? I dont need everything though, just few. My internal memory is only 8gb.
Thanks in advance.

To move files to sd, you need to install a file manager downloaded from google play as astro file manager l, es file manager, antek file manager, root explorer , root browser lite (search google play) use any of them as alternative to ny files app in stock rom
To remove system apps use file explorer as root explorer or root browser lite to remove the apk of unwanted apps from system/data ( please make nandroid backup first !!!) or use app like system cleanup (make a nandroid first)

yes to move files you need a file manager(go for bluetooth file transfer, astro, androzip or root explorer or any other)
and to delete stock bloatware use link2se or rom toolbox or titanium backup and many other option are available...
Thanks, i will be trying several apps and see what works with me. I'll keep you guys posted.

[APP] Android 4.2 Launcher APK

Works on 4.1 AOSP/JB ROMS ONLY
SAMPLE
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Download the Android 4.2 Launcher apk file and transfer it to a convenient location on your phone.
2.If you are using a Nexus Device or running an AOSP /AOKP based stock Android ROM, you need to be rooted. Download Titanium Backup and uninstall your default Android 4.1 launcher. If you are using an OEM customized ROM, like a Touchwiz based or HTC Sense Based ROM, you can skip Step 2 and move on directly to Step 3.
3.Now using a File explorer like ES File Explorer or Astro, navigate to the location where you had transferred the APK file for the Android 4.2 launcher, in Step 1.
4.Install the Launcher apk, and enjoy the default launcher from the upcoming Android 4.2

Welcome relief from TW crashing on my Note2 n7100
After much work, I got it working on my AOKP Swagger (by Frankinstine - link in sig).
What I did:
1. Titanium Backup - Backup Launcher
2. Root Explorer - Copy Android-4.2-Launcher.apk to /system/app, set permissions to rw-r--r--
3. Recovery - Nandroid Backup (Just cause)
4. Root Explorer (just open it, so it's in your recents)
5. Titanium Backup - Uninstall Launcher2
6. Root Explorer - rename "Android-4.2-Launcher.apk" to "Launcher2.apk"
7. Root Explorer - select Launcher2.apk and install it.
8. Titanium Backup - Restore Launcher "Data Only" (widgets do not restore)
9. Reboot
Running fine for me now.
any way to reduce home screens on it? i would like to have only 2 home screens on it? or not possible, yet?
Why is this so hard for all of you? I'm running CM10, I just did
Code:
adb install 4.2_Launcher2_signed.apk
and it installed.
Tanks!
I just copied it to system/app with original name (4.2...) and after - deleted Launcher2.apk. Reboot and voila - it's done. And icons layout saved

Samsung My Files apk

Does anyone have a working My Files apk they could share? I never use the Samsung file manager, but recently wanted to go back to s-note (mainly use repligo) because the pen works better for it. Sadly, Samsung makes you use their file manager instead of a third party like ES, and I deleted My Files already.
I've tried a few other My Files apks from other roms, but never got them working.
Also, s-note does not sync with dropbox, right? I only see Gdrive for cloud storage.

I do appreciate your help. However, I already have found some random My Files apks. The problem is I've had issues getting them to work. I can't simply install from a file manager, or even push to system/app and change permissions. Just don't want to dirty flash...

I tried installing it but it force closes on opening.
Updating the play store version also doesn't work.
Is anyone able to mod this so that it can be installed properly?
Hopefully someone can mod this so I can download it too!
Anyone able to figure it out?
It has to be installed in your System/app folder with correct permissions (drwxr-xr-x for folders and rw-r-r for apps) and it should work.

Confirmed working.
Just to verify:
Download file above:
Place in:
/system/app/SBrowser_4_LATEST/
Rename old apk (I just placed a .off at the end of the extension)
Copy in your new one you downloaded from above.
Set file permissions as:
0644 (Read = Owner, Group, Others)
(Write= Owner)
(Execute=)
rw-r--r--
Reboot and you should notice the icon change, Go to settings and About to confirm version
