Hey everyone. This is a ROM based off Quail's great Huawei Ideos ROM. This fixes some of the bugs found there and also is the first ROM to theme the device.
However as I had stopped development for a long time other ROMs became better so I based v2 of the ROM instead on maury1234's ROM.

Themed using Simplistic - great theme - all credis to chancellorr - using until I can figure out how to change the clock in the status bar to white so Gingerbread theme can be included
Many themed icons such as Market again using Simplisitc
Spare Parts to choose animation etc.
Launcher Pro - seem to work best and fastest on my device

THINGS TO REMEMBER:
This ROM will wipe all your data to reduce intereference - I suggest you do a nandroid backup before this and also backup up your apps (e.g. with Titanium) if you want them after the flash
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS OR BRICKING OF PHONES.
To partition and install:
YOU WILL NEED A PARTITIONED SD CARD OR YOUR PHONE WILL BE STUCK IN A BOOT LOOP.
You will need to be rooted and also have to have a custom recovery flashed. If you are unsure of how to install this follow this.
To partition your SD card and install the ROM I suggest you follow these steps:
1. Get into recovery mode by turning off your device and pressing the Green Button and the Volume UP key.
2. Do a Nandroid backup
3. Boot up your phone again and copy EVERYTHING in your phone to your computer - this step can be missed out if you don't care about the data on your SD card but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO THIS
4. Boot back into recovery and choose partition SD card
5. Choose around 512 MB for ext and 32MB swap.
6. Then do upgrade ext2 to ext3
7. Boot back to your phone and then copy all your data back to the FAT32 part of your SD card.
8. Download the ROM and copy that over as well
9. Boot into recovery and then flash the ROM
10. The first boot will take a while but any longer than 15 minutes or cuts in the boot screen mean you have a problem (or haven't followed the instructions above ) Post a reply on this thread and I will get back to you ASAP

GINGERBREAD THEME PACK
This theme will make your phone look like gingerbread. The theme was created for the Huawei Ascend and full credit goes to joenathane for making the theme.
To apply this theme:
1. First download, install and flash the ROM situated in post #1
2. Download this file
2. Boot up the phone and transfer the file to the root of the SD card
3. Reboot into recovery and flash the theme like you flashed the ROM
4. Reboot the find that you have Gingerbread theme

Thanks for you interest in the ROM but it is almost impossible to remove every kind of restriction from the market - Quail removed some of them so some should work. I am looking more in-depth into it and will get back to you. Could you check how much results you get for "video" and post the results. And also as for unlocking your phone that can't be done by flashing - you need to pay to get it done - search Google.

Yep - going to add apps2sd in the next version. CM settings may take a bit more time - I'll need to port it from either the pulse or htc wildfire.

But the status bar clock and date don't show up because the text is black - the same as the status bar

I'll have closer look but looking over it does seem like a kernel thing. Maybe an app that can improve the camera can be added?

this is one of the best U8150 roms out there! good work. would love to see gingerbread theme if you can sort the black top bar issues out. app2sd would be great too. google goggles working aswell.
I have found one problem, the phone key pad is cut off at the top and generally is not as good as stock one. (see attached image)
Any improvement in battery life?
Phone will be fixed in the next release

Has anyone got into the problem of internal memory full even with the data2sd.. because this may be a bug which can b considered looking into ?
as in internal mem is full but data2sd partition has space.. but the phone wont let you install

I m having d same prob .. But I figured it out .. possibly ur ext4 partition isn't created .. That was mine too ..

No File in there.. so it seems it created the partition but i did not format it properly? though i am able to copy appz manually using root explorer and then run them from /data/app folder

5. After the installation is complete, Wipe data / factory reset, reboot and you will now have the Concept rom installed.
6. You can go back to Clockwork Mod Recovery and select custom restore to restore your SD-Ext partition now.
7. Done!

Hey buddy, I have pulled up a lot of things from the forum and put in a lot of effort to combine it and improve it. I have not used any particular work as base. I have given credits to all members, whose work I have used, I dont mean to discredit you in any way. I have used some of your work too and I thank you for your efforts.

Are kernel changes possible or just rom changes? If kernel, I'd like to see USB-OTG Hosting enabled so our SRs can recognize a USB flash drive and be able to read/write/transfer files. I think it involves changing a flag to "Y", but requires the kernel to be decompiled/recompiled which is above my pay grade!

Wanting to flash on my t989 but if I flash the modem and rom and rebooy I have no signal or data I even changed the apns and rebooted still didnt get any data or signal any ideas

I loaded this up last night. I was running SilverRom..
I wiped data, cache & dalvik
I did not format system
Flashed rom
Restored 19 user apps & data with TB
So far so good, seems very responsive, I use ADW launcher and it plays together very well. Battery seems much improved so far. I had 48% when I went to bed at 11 last night and still had 44 at 730AM!
I prefer minimal roms, so I can add what I WANT

BTW...I'm on Straight Talk and I get 4G around 6-7mb, 24mb wifi, video camera works great, no bloat, me likey!

Kinda stuck, maybe you can help..
When I deodexed the ROM so i could add 14 toggle mod, I loose Market and APN settings and get no data. It happens after the deodexed and not even adding the toggle mod app/framework to the rom.
I also cant figure out how to get of that ATT Ready2GO crap

I got rid of all my ATT bloat by either just uninstalling from app manager or remounting /system as rw and deleting them from /system/app. I was able to get rid of all of the remaining ATT bloat. I did start from the rom and radio from cdshepherd's thread (1509978). Can't remember if I had to remove R2GO or if it was already removed. Anyhow most were removed when I remounted /system rw. I think there were only 2 that I was able to straight uninstall from app manager.

Before trying the rom, I was wondering; is it going to be possible to record calls with this rom using any of the applications on play (google market)?
Is the 1200mhz a bit ambitious for most of us? I can't keep mine stable above anything like 1150 on any other ROM. Is there something done to help this with this ROM? I'd love to try this, but don't want to get in a boot loop because I can't change the clock speed in time.

Same here, that worries me. I have never been totally stable at 1200, so I'm worried i'd bootloop with this i it is unstable during boot. as long as it boots, I guess there's not much worry since you can just turn it down afterwards. 1122 is my magic number, that's what I set my overclock to and it is always stable.
EDIT: Rdavisct is gonna kill me for this, but whatever. little time frame for when SCV6 is coming. I don't want to make this the third time that a new rom shows up literally in the middle of flashing another one. (I flashed sonya v3 27 seconds before I saw the new lithium, and then flashed lithium about a minute before sonya v4!

I love torrents. I really hate how everyone associates torrenting with pirating. basically anyone will tell you torrenting is illegally downloading stuff, which is not always true. It is a great file sharing mechanism. The problem here is that there will not be enough people to seed. I don't think there are very many who will even download it in the first place, and only a few of those would be nice enough to seed for a while. once some time has passed it will probably die.
I will download it and add it to my mirrors (I have most of our roms on google drive which downloads at 3 MB/s for me, which is crazy fast.)

Nothing.you just won't get full speed intended. Nothing harmfull.its a pain making supercharge stick through backups.this is the best solution i came up with today.im not even sure my other roms up to this point got a full %100 percent supercharge as no one would confirm it for me.but this way (including the data.ext3.tar with only sc in it) i tested and its 100%.

I was just wondering because i noticed that it's a backup of /data. Since what I normally do when flashing a new rom is wipe flash and then restore data. But in this case if I did that I would loose the 100% supercharged right?
Just installed indian searet update ROM,and this rom came out.

why cyanocream always like this -_-
fc at settings rom updates
ui settings at statusbar is getting fc when pressed
but the UI is great, its cool sleek
next cyanocream maybe create original rom by yourself sir

If init.d scripts:
Go to system/etc/init.d and copy all things from there and paste it on a folder on you sd card an ur done !

i dont think as easy as that to take out the tweaks
and i found nothing in init.d folder
How about the screen flickering ? anyone can report about this ? if this thing it's fixed, Cyanogen got enough stable for me, i don't really care about the bluetooth and the camera, Thanks in Advance

It is based on stock firmware yr..
