About Kspec Oreo:
Oreo started out as a theme on the G1, it was a combination of graphics from the Hero and the oPhone. Over time it has evolved into many different shapes, but the basic idea is a theme that is black, blue, white, and sometimes green but using all original icons. Above anything else, this theme is for usability, its easy to see, easy to read, and looks like a default theme. Everything I create is a donation to the community so feel free to modify, change, and repost whatever you want.

Looks really good, iv been searching for ages trying to find the blue gingerbread style status bar icons for MPDI, do you know of any where i can find them, or do you plan on releasing for the poor people on MPDI like myself lol
Creating all of the images was the hard part. But I will see if I can find all of the rest of the stock images from the various ROMs and put together at least a pack of all the images you will need.

Thanks, much appreciated, i tried resizing some a few weeks ago but could not get them to render right, im no good at photoshop really, just the basic knowledge, read something about it being a .9 pngs or something, its beyond my knowledge
Most of the non-.9.png files are indexed and the easiest way in my opinion to make them usable is to use program like VSO Image Resizer to "resize" all of the images (that are the same size, i.e. all of the 38x38 icons) to the same size, basically removing the layers and making them an RGB image. The .9.pngs are a little tougher.

Kspec 1.0 slims everything down considerably. A lot of extraneous, unchanged resources have been removed from the morph. My favorite part of this theme is the battery icon, so I've gone ahead and made a morph for that piece only! This should work with ANY theme, ANY mod, so long as the resource names for the battery haven't been changed (and I can't imagine anyone would do that). Looks like we accidentally included a bunch of images from Launcher2 that didn't actually change. I'll get in touch with brandenk and see exactly which files I can bounce.
EDIT: The reason it was coming in at 20mb was because it included ALL of the wallpapers in Launcher2.apk. Some of them were changed for this theme, so I'm going to do the following:
I'm updating the morph to contain ONLY the wallpapers that have changed (this will knock about 10mb off the size of the zip).
I'm also posting a morph which does not contain the alternative wallpapers. This morph will be much smaller.

I should be able to do that. I'm not an actual themer, just repackaged this theme for metamorph, but I'll look into what I need to do to re-save the images required in the proper format. Look for a blue battery icon with the next release.

These will work with .1, yes Generally speaking, you can usually assume that's the case with this morph. I get @cyanogen updates on my phone, so I'll make a point to edit the thread immediately if for some reason I think it won't work on a bug-fix release
Awesome thanks for sharing the kspec goodies. Glad you made the battery icon a seperate metamorph as well. I'm sure a lot of people want the theme just for that. Great job overall.

Not at this time. Someone would need to make a stock framework-res.apk modified with only the battery icon changes and upload that. You could then push that framework-res.apk to /system/framework

The sprites you want to port over should be in the framework-res.apk located in /system/framework... assuming the backflip filesystem is like a standard android phone.

Hmm... the only png I could find that looked like it might be the statusbar background is attached. Doesn't look very gray to me.
I'm also looking at a froyo framework-res to see where the matching statusbar sprite is located and it appears to be MIA. Chances are the is a result of the difference in version.

I agree.
It's nice to see someone doing a theme for Fresh, most of them now are for Mik, Wyn's, or CM7. Also, I prefer the more matted look as opposed to the glossy stuff you see on a lot of themes. I'm currently using your Gingerbread style although I'm gonna flash this and see which I like more. I think it would look good with this, the way it is, the Gingerbread notification bar, and a clear launcher or a Gingerbread style launcher.
Edit: Also, and this is just a suggestion, it might be a better idea to have all your themes in one thread to make everything easier to find and so that stuff doesn't end up getting buried.

Nice, have you thought of changing the other icons like mount, and 4G?
Can you also add in the black bar screen which is more consistent with the espresso launcher and also add green highlights to the espresso launcher to make the theme more consistent.

Anyways, ya, I have about 10+ themes for CM to Sense and in all different styles, I used to make them for the community but people stopped following and downloading so I stopped posting them.
* IN THE WORKS * Since it sounds like there are a few requests for it, how about all gingerbread icons while leaving most of the colors the green and black of sense. So icons like usb, adb, vibrate, will all be gingerbread, and I will see what I can do about some custom 4G icons to match. Finally I will play with that link Ph33zy posted so see about cleaning up the cololrs.

Yes, the black bar lock is the slide down to unlock bar. Here is a picture of it (although I think this screenshot is of a WM6.5 device, but its really similar). I think it matches better with the expresso launcher than the stock sense lock (but just my opinion I guess).

BTW, just started playing more with my phone after flashing your icons and I think I like it better without all the blue elements. Do you think you could do a version with just the GB notification bar? I also noticed that the SMS GB icon is missing as well.

I looked at them side by side and it appears the difference is the transparency on the GB version. Either way they have been added.

Remember to download Rujelus22's Myn-Mod version.3 from his thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=904769 and flash it AFTER flashing Myn's Warm Two Point Two and BEFORE flashing one of these themes in order to avoid any issues with black on black menus, etc.
These themes are identical to PIMP BLU except that they are all done in different colors. SCREENSHOTS TO BE UPLOADED SOON.

Yes absolutely... will take me a while to get at it, though. I haven't even been able to flash Synergy yet... (sorry, Myn!) My little boys are making it hard for me to even catch five minutes of free time. Will flash tonight!
