Ported Mes build help - Samsung Mesmerize

Ok i ported the fascinate build over to my Mesmerize (original post)http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=11048417#post11048417
I got everything working except i cant send text messages or recieve them . I can make phone calls use the hotspot I have no verizon software left on phone
At this point i need expert help in getting the proper setting to switch the MMS over to the us cellular network .Like i said i can make phone calls and use the data ,but sending texts messages will not do .
One more thing it shows unknown network when i look at phone settings.
Thanks in advance

This is why we don't install this stuff specifically for the fascinate, they are working on mez versions just be patient and wait for the releases they will port, they will be a ton better anyway all you're going to do once you get in is play for a few minutes and be upset that it doesn't work properly and isn't custom themed.
At this point I suggest you try to revert in CWM, from reading that post you may have a different version on your phone so it may not be that simple, if it's still red you're probably fine to just restore a backup (assuming you took the time to make one). If not, it's time to go back to stock and wait for the proper release...

I'm curious about the wording you used. Did you actually "port" the DL30 to your phone, or did you just install it? There is a big difference in the two.

I always make a back up (got the stock uscell install tar.md5 file)
No i could not just install it it would not install. However i didnt port it either it was a cross between files from three phones that got it loaded and stable ..........i'm sure thats half the problem with the MMS not working .

You didn't really answer his question. Anyway, good job getting that package to boot. Join us sometime is IRC and you'll learn a lot. #samsung-mesmerize on irc.freenode.net

Download:jMod FroYo SDK Port
Wow, that was fast... downloading to give it a try
€: Funny thing. Installed, configured apn started browser, went to my favourite tech news site for testing -> Big headline: No Froyo update for G1
I think for a few hours porting time it is quite good. Sure, a lot of things don't work yet, but its much smoother than I imagined.
Yea so far it boots up and it just loaded up for me
Its not even that slow......transitions are nice but desktop scrolling isnt that good =)
I'm currently testing one with Gapps. if it works, I'll have it up in a few minutes
If Froyo AOSP source code isn't available, how the heck do we compile any wireless drivers for this?

Go guys work together on this... If you need any extra testers to help I am sure many will help where they can.

Has anyone tried if the Flash Player shows up in the Market when using this ROM cause Adobe said it would only appear on devices running 2.2

That was answered many times in different threads: seems Flash requires new Market app and we don't have it yet.
I would also be glad to test, PM me. I would love to show off FroYo!
Plz work together!
If you both work on this together then we will have a working FroYo twice as fast, it would be tons of fun to beat the Nexus One to FroYo
I flashe this on the g1 2.22.23 image and it works fine u could even say its a little faster just thought I would input my discovery great work on the fast port to the g1!
the google apps?
Jit seems to be disabled, am I Right?
Linpack ~1.7 MFLOPS
dalvikvm -help says nothing of jit
Really looking forward to a more advanced build. Thumbs up for this alpha release it makes you want more froyo.

1. Setup Wizard is part of GApps, which we don't have.
3. Did you read the first post?
4. It's a rough port from a device that doesn't have radio, I would expect that (The first post says "should", not "is").
5. Hasn't it always done that?
7. The Emulator doesn't have an ACTUAL sdcard, so this should be expected.
9. See 4.
ChiefzReloaded has gotten Gapps and a different kernel running on his:

[FIX] General Network Failure sending/receiving MMS

I've run into this on multiple ROMs, and every time it seems like it only affects some people. As far as I've been able to find, the common link hasn't been found. It has now, and the fix is incredibly simple.
Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All > Dialer > Clear Cache
Reboot
Do not restore SMS/MMS/APN Dialer storage data
This was posted in the VaelPak thread, but wanted to get it out there for everyone.
Edit:
I tested this on a fresh install before posting.. both breaking it and then fixing it. But when I restored my broken nand backup, the fix did not work. So mileage may vary, but flashing a fresh install and not restoring the dialer storage should still be a winner.
See post #4 for another confirmed cause and fix
THANKS! Been having this issue since and I didn't feel like searching everywhere for this...until you posted it up here, which made my day a breeze!
Thanks awesome find
There is more to this.
The original cause and solution were both confirmed, but another one has been found. It was caused by a battery mod. So conceivably MMS could be broken by any UI mod that includes /system/framework/framework-res.apk
The good news is, replacing the file with the one that came with your rom should fix MMS after a reboot.
This cause and solution have also both been confirmed. But what about the mod that did it is not known right now.
There seems to be many causes to this problem and seems a fix is based upon each individual and there phone. I see people with this error from a factory ROM and fresh phone. Some issues can also be fixed by un-checking delivery report/read report in messaging settings.
*UPDATE* ~ Possible Fix ~
Not sure if this applies to all but it fixed my problems altogether. In the apn settings there are 2 listed one for Internet and one for MMS. Take the MMSC, MMS Proxy, and the MMS Port settings from the MMS apn and copy those to the internet apn. No need to reset. And don't delete any apn's either.
I can t get this to work
hey can you help me out-I keep flashing unrevoked-forever-son.zip repeatedly and it doesnt work-It keeps saying s-off.I have clockworkmod recovery-I need to turn s-on because i have to take my evo back to a sprint repair shop.my 4g radio got hosed.I must have deleted the keys-I was able to correct my mac address however 4g will still not connect

Don't worry about it?
This isn't even the right thread for that.
I just returned an Evo, rooted, with a custom ROM on it. They didn't care. The chance of them seeing S-OFF instead of S-ON is pretty much zero.
is this the same problem as
when roaming i am unable to make calls nor connect to the internet. i tried calling and i get this message
"unable to connect, this is an unauthorized devise on the Verizon network...please try your call again........"
I had this issue and it was due to a messed up xml file in system/customize/MNS/default.xml
Unfortunately for me, the only way I fixed it was to hard reset with with the proper edits to the file.
I was learning how to build ROMs and edit certain xml files and I guess I screwed up the syntax of this particular one and ruined my MMS

Not the same. Call sprint and tell them you can't make calls while roaming and that you get the verizon message. Tell them you need to repush the network information. That'll fix it quick.
Voicemail problems
Don't know if you guys can help out, but I can't find a thread on this anywhere. My voicemail is not working period. I will call from another phone and leave myself a voicemail. Go to check it and it is no where to be found. I am running fresh 3.2 and kingkernel bfs #9. Any suggestions?

I use Google Voice -- It will replace your current VM system and also sends you emails with your voicemail transcribed into text... give it a shot!
I also use it to ask me to use Google Voice to dial out or allow android to dial...because I hate dialer and if you hit connect/call it immediately dials the first number on the list.. googlevoice at least lets me choose which one I want or none at all.. Its like putting a condom on voice dialer! (Ok, not really, but....)
^ that or youmail. I like youmail because if the phone doesnt ring sometimes (out of reception or if youre on a call sometimes) youmail will send you a email or text showing the missed call. I archive all missed calls/voicemails (for work) so it works out perfectly.
back on topic, I tried deleting the dialer storage, but my mms settings still show some wierd Orange.UK url for the mnsc and i have no idea how that happened. I will try to reflash the rom and see if that fixes it...
Thanks for the suggestion, just got everything setup. Google voice works like a charm.

Guide for Sprint Tp2 on boost

Just in case anyone needs it
This is a guide based off my experiences on how to get everything working properly on boost mobile. This is not my work nor do i take credit for it i was helped by many. im just putting it together in one place for every one that needs it. Oh and i seen all over craigslist and ebay that they sell guides on how to do this everyone that learns from here please do not try to sell this instead help out who ever needs it just like you needed it.
1) You need to have a boost CDMA account active
* CDMA, yes boost has CDMA just like sprint. ** CDMA not IDEN in other words no walkie talkie.
1.5) if you have a walkie talkie account just call boost Customer service (C.S.) and tell the rep you want to transfer your account to the cdma side
2) Call boost mobile C.S. and tell them you want to swap phones on your account for whatever reason you can make up i.e. phone broke or fell on water. Just tell them its a red phone or something and it works
3) Do not tell them that your new phone is a sprint phone they will tell you cant do it not possible. Dont get worried it will work
4) They will ask you for the phones info give it to them (if they ask u if its a sprint phone deny it all the way) then they will tell you what numbers to punch in follow that exactly the way they say.
5. Once it is done wait a few while the phone gets completely activated on their system. At first text messages might not work and data as well. just give it till the end of that day it should work but if it doesn just wait a little bit.
6. Then make sure you carrier provisioned it make sure to select Sprint.
7. Run the Sprint prl update to make sure you get data working.
** Now for the big one everyone has been having problems with MMS**
Never mind i forgot how to do that one sorry . LOL
8. On a custom rom (i use Mighty rom FF) install the Sprint Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79 cab that i atached at the bottom and do exactly like this
*Install the cab to your phones memory
*Soft reset
*Go to Messages
*All messages
*Menu
* MMS options or Pics/Video Options
*Servers
* Click on NEW
*Server Name = put whatever name you want
*Gateway = leave blank
*Port number leave at 80
*Server address: http://mm.myboostmobile.com
*Connect via: Sprint
*Send limit= leave at 500K
*Press done
* Under setting select the name you created and then click on Set as default
* Exit out and soft reset just to be on the safe side then your should be able to send/receive MMS
9) You should have everything working correctly from here its back to customizing however you feel like.
I added the soft reset cab also just to make it easier just install it doesnt matter either your phones memory or sdcard and look for the icon in the start menu press it and it will soft reset
Oh and foreveryone that bought the phone "flashed to boost mobile" there isnt such thing they just did as stated above. There is no flashing to boost and there isnt a boost mobile rom.
If i forgot something let me know ill add it to here or maybe someone else will. If you have any either question just ask.
Wow!! What a simple method this is. So many "third-party" cell phone shops are charging as much as $75 to $100 to "flash" these phones to boost. That's insane. Thanks!!!
Glad you liked it. If you really like it then how about hitting the thanks button instead of just saying it.
Also if you feel like your missing something by not paying i can help you with that too ill send you a paypal link.LOL
I take it back, it's not that simple. Tried many many times and I guess things are more enforced since then. Ended up paying but was WELL worth every penny. I'm loving the phone now. No thanks to this

TP2 on Boost working great so far!
Using the instructions above, I just migrated my Iden Boost account to CDMA on my TP2! The Boost rep said that since I didn't say which phone I had, she couldn't tell me that it couldn't be activated. She said if I had said I wanted to switch to the HTC TP2, then she would have been obligated to tell me it could not be done. I have been receiving SMS and MMS with no problems. The Internet works fine too! Thanks for the info! I am glad I did not pay someone a crazy amount for these relatively simple instructions!

What issue are you talking about. From what i have read no one here stating they have a problem with their internet.
Read the guide again and look at step #7 if you still dont get it let me know.

Can I get some help? My TP2 has been working flawlessly on Boost since I followed your instructions. All of a sudden, today, whenever I try to use the internet or Titanium Weather, I get a message saying that "Your plan does not include wireless web or your balance is not suficient to cover the wireless web charge". I have been using the pay as you go plan and have plenty of money in my account. This problem just started today. Has Boost changed something? Or do you have any tips?

I have tried different roms, mighty, and mighty ff, now im trying engery now, and I like the looks of it so I will stay with it. OK I have tried installing the cab files that you have posted up, Im sure Im just doing something wrong but I extracted the files to the phone but I dont see any changes and I never get to the text option screens that you say to change. Probably a dumb question here, but does the phone need to be unlocked before hand? Your instructions don't mention it so I wanted to be sure.
Thanks!

Phone does not need to be unlocked if your gonna be running a stock rom. If your gonna be using a custom then you need to have unlocked so you can install the custom rom then install the acrosoft for custom rom. Hopes this answered your question

Your welcome
im on a blackberry plan right now, couldnt i just call them and switch to the 50/month plan and then update my phone on the website by entering in the ESN# from the touch pro 2. i have no idea what to say if im asked what the phone model is.
if your on the blackberry plan most likely your gonna have to do both changes at the same time ( your plan & phone).
Also in re: to what phone to tell them that you have thats already answered in the guide in the first post of this thread.
If the website is allowing to update ESN# changes then you might be able to do both there without having to call

[Q] Verizon Galaxy Tab 2.0 7" (SCH-i705) Questions

I've done quite a bit of researching but cannot find an answer I'm confident in, so...
Has anyone had success getting telephony to work on these devices? I recently updated to 4.1.2 with the OTA update from this forum. However, before I did that, I was on 4.0.4 (factory), then on the DoubleShot kernel and rom. I rooted, unlocked the boot loader, modified framework-res.apk to enable phone (one of the bools files has a line something like "phone_enabled...>false<...". After doing this, recompiling, and reflashing the rom, I was able to place outgoing "true voice calls" -- no Google Voice, no Groove IP, but a REAL voice call (with 1G or whatever the base mode for voice/SMS is). These calls originated from the VZW number associated with the sim card in the Tab. I was NOT able to receive incoming calls or send/receive SMS text. I tried everything I could think of to get these to work -- no go.
---Fast forward, aver several days of flawless outgoing phone calls---
Flashed the OTA 4.1.2 (and TrustZone and the modem) and everything worked initially. Tried to edit the framework-res.apk again, exactly as before. re-applied the update with CWM (and TZ/modem to be safe) with edited framework-res. CWM said successful, but the device would hang on the boot screen.
Any ideas how to enable phone, or why my previous method didnt work with 4.1.2?
Also, if anyone knows how to get rid of the ongoing WiFi notification (even when connected, wifi off, etc), that would be AWESOME! I know some people long-press the notification -> app info -> kill app, and that works until wifi status changes.
I've actually been trying to figure out the telephony thing myself but could not find it. Glad you did! I'll see if I what I can do also. I'd love to enable telephony on this tab and include it in doubleshotrom. Let me know if you figure it out.
For wifi - view this thread regarding the S3 [HACK] Remove WiFi reminder
It used to work on this tab on 4.0.4, don't know if it changed in 4.1.2
I'm glad you saw this thread MrHyde. I've been following along silently in the development forum (almost to 10 posts haha)
Do you have any ideas what the difference might be between 4.0.4 and 4.1.2 that would cause such a different result (failure to boot after flashing)?
I'm going to try going to the DoubleShot JB kernel (hopefully tonight) and see if it helps. Does the new DoubleShot for JB swap the storage mount points? If it does, how can I disable it? Switching back and forth between installs that don't BOTH do this is becoming a problem for me.
For the failure to boot, you need to install the TZ (trust zone). It's listed under the Requirements heading in the DoubleshotROM thread, or you can grab it from the OTA thread.
Yes the new dsr does swap the sdcards. To stop it, three ways:
1. After flashing, use adb (from CWM) or the built in file manager (TWRP) to delete /system/etc/init.d/ExtSd2InternalSd
2. Open up the ROM zip and go to /system/etc/init.d/ExtSd2InternalSd and delete it, then flash
3. Flash it normally, then use a file manager to delete /system/etc/init.d/ExtSd2InternalSd, then reboot.
Edit: just read it again and completely missed the point lol. I dont know why it would fail, but im gonna take a look. Cant imagine its much
Could you tell me exactly which file contained this phone bool? I can't seem to find it..
Decompile framework-res.apk
Look in /res/values/bools.xml
Toward the bottom, a like says something like "phone_enabled=false"
Remember, doing this, I was only able to make outgoing calls--no incoming, no sms.
You mean "config_voice_capable"?
I get a bootloop.. I think the framework-res.apk isn't recompiling properly. logcat just shows a bunch of errors
Yeah that's it. What are you using to repack?
Can you post your error log?
Now that i have time to look into it more, i think it may have something to do with the non-hlos modem we've flashed for the OTA JB.
do you think this is feasible?
Any way to unlock this I705 for using with Tmobile SIM card?
Any breakthroughs here? I would love to use my TAB as a phone.
Any updates on getting telephony to work? What would happen if you flashed the ROM for the Note II onto the tab 2? Or would this work at all? I would really like to make the tab 2 my primary phone.
Thanks.

I am also thinking the same,I just wanted to flash Galaxy S4 firmware in my galaxy tab 2 7"

I was able to do it with ICS. Ever since I flashed DoubleShot Rom (JB), I haven't been able to figure out how to get it to work again. The method that worked for ICS does not work for JB.
I've only been able to get an outgoing call, but it goes straight to my own vmail. No other success.
Its personally not that important to me, though.

I'm getting really close to ending my 25 year business relationship with Verizon. I'm tired of piss-poor service, even though their coverage map indicated solid 4g signal and their representatives confirm I should have good service at my address. It isn't only my home address, but many other locations bi frequent. So one of two things -- either all 5 devices on my account are defective, or their coverage maps are misrepresented. Either way, Sprint is getting better in this area, has the Note II, and is significantly cheaper. And the Tab 3 8.0 is only slightly longer than the SCH-i705.
Few more questions here.
What did you use to modify the framework-res.apk to enable phone?
What did you use to de-compile, is it a special program or what? Same with recompiling.
I wonder what would happen if you got a SIM card that is used for a phone and used it in the tablet. Would this allow the phone calls and text to come in? This is something I would be willing to try if I could get the tablet to the point that it had the dialer on it.
Next why is it when I go to sammobile.com I am unable to find the SCH-I705 listed at all?
Like I mentioned in an earlier post would it be possible to flash the ROM from a Galaxy Note II or similar phone to the Tab 2?
Thanks.

apktool. Look it up and follow instructions to get it working.

A SIM card from a cell phone might work if cell data was enabled properly.
sammobile does have 1 firmware version available. I dont know if its still there, but I nabbed it when I saw it.
http://garrettek.com/android/SCH-I705/ROMs/4.1.2/I705VRBLL2_I705VZWBLL2_VZW.zip (VRBLL2 JB 4.1.2 official, tested, working)
No. do not flash Note II ROMs on your tab 2. The ONLY device that is remotely compatible with the tab 2 lte is the verizon gs3. Except, if you flash a vzw gs3 rom, your display drivers won't work properly. Everything else will, but display drivers won't. One way around this is to flash the i705 kernel over top a i535 rom. But even then, no guarantees it won't break your tab.
It worked for me back on 4.0.4 (except the kernel).
Ok, I no longer have verizon service and would like to know if there is a way to switch it somehow so I can use CM/other roms.
Since I dont have the verizon 4g service and only using the WIFI.
Hope I worded that right.
Anyone?!

CM-11 testing for sm-t325 (mondrianlte), no radio support

I'm working on adding support for a WiFi only build of CM-11 for the SM-T325.
I am making no attempt at this time to add cellular support because I don't own the device and it would be very painful to try to do that without the device. However, a WiFi only version seems possible and I want to use this thread to validate that.
As a first step, I'm looking for people to test that this recovery works for them on a SM-T325: cwmr-20140528-mondrianlte.
You'll need to unzip the file and then flash it in Odin. If you don't know how to do that, then a test build is probably not for you!
Yes..it works!!!

i can confirm that this recovery does indeed function as expected...i installed my rom (ran into a weird "android is upgrading" bootloop but it eventually loaded...that may be my experimental multiwindow mod i'm using or the fact that i have completely deleted the touchwiz launcher) as well as created a backup (didnt restore) & all seems to be in order. I may be overreaching a bit about my abilities but im sure if u get a working wifi version going for us then the least i can do is get the cellular working...on a sort of related note would u happen to know if its possible to output through hdmi while in recovery mode? As far as this build is conncerned...anything else u may need tested just give me a shout
edit: looked for the backup which is usually on the internal sd (read:accessible from pc) and although the folder is there its empty...finally found it in "data-media-clockworkmod" & just wanted to know is this normal?

That is normal (it is independent of users and /sdcard is specific to user 0 of the tablet).
If you want to work on the radio, you'll need to be able to build sm-t320. If you get that to build, I'll push up my current repos for the sm-t325.
Would you mind booting into recovery and grabbing a dmesg (/proc/kmsg) for me?
Hopefully I can post a cm 11 build in a couple of hours and we can see how that works.

either i dont know what i'm doing or adb isnt working properly in cwm...when i connect i get a weird "usb recognized but there's a problem" sound instead of the usual "affirmative" noise if that makes sense (windows)

everything seems to be ok on my end although i cant test as thoroughly as i'd like to because my screen is screwed (broken lcd)...gps took a long time to track & still never redrew the map after it did but that was without high accuracy mode enabled & no data of course. Mic, camera, mhl/hdmi, sound, video playback, wifi, bluetooth (wait let me check...yep!), auto brightness, lid sensor are all working properly...so now i need your permission. Besides getting data working...i just want to know am i free to use this in a dual boot configuration with my rom & post it in my thread? Also...this is not important but do u know if screen mirroring works with the wifi version?

I don't know whether or not screen mirroring works. No one has complained but I don't have any way to test it.
You can (obviously) post a link to the thread. I would prefer that you didn't link to a specific version as I hope to post more test builds here (although so far only 3 people have downloaded it which shows either a lack of interest or a lack of early adopters).

woohoo...well i got data working but calls are a no go as of right now. i can assure u the lack of activity in this thread is definitely not due to lack of intereset....more than likely its because its barely been a full day not to mention that there are not that many of us lte users but best believe once word gets round they'll come running. As far as my permission request...what i was thinking is that i'll just wait until the monthly releases start coming, make the proper changes for data (unless u actually make ours official also which would be awesome) & include it in a dualboot (hopefully multirom) setup. From what i've read ...alterations will need to be made to both kernels/roms which is why i was asking could i use it. I would definitely put a "use at your risk" disclaimer up as to not have the official thread flooded with issues not actually related to cm itself...let me know if u need anthing else on my end
edit: i do have one weird issue though...i copied the dialer app from another device with cm11 but it doesnt show up in the app drawer but is in fact found within the app manager in settings (i know i can just download another dialer but thought i would ask)
edit 2: calls not working yet & but i did get the phone app to appear & sms are also good to go (no mms at the moment)...got rid of the error message on outgoing calls (incoming wont even ring at all) but now it just force closes before it dials out (even with a different dialer)

Here's a new build that has all of the telephony bits enabled. I haven't tried booting it (I'm at work, the tablet is at home) but it should have the dialer and all the other framework that is needed for telephony. Let me know if you get calls working with it:
cm-11-20140529-beta

twrp is fine. The recovery was just because the first step is to make sure that boots before bothering to get the whole system to boot..
I will install your latest build and return with impressions.
Edit: @crpalmer: Phone.apk/dialer is missing and I have no service.

Yeah, I made no attempt to get the radio working, hence the title...

Long story short...still no voice. Now for the rest of it...i've gotten it to the point where i can dial out but neither the mic nor speaker works when the call is answered by the other party (i think this is due to the fact that it reports that the call ends as soon as it begins on my device). As far as receiving calls is concerned...NOTHING. I have even gone as far as flashing a note 3 modem (yeah i know...stupid :silly in an attempt to fix it & still no go...i just recently found the build prop edit to allow outgoing calls so hopefully the rest is as simple as editing the build prop. Speaking of which...getting data/phone working is NOT quite so simple but i've gotten it down to the bare minimum number of changes that need to be made. So far we need to add the "lib-qcril-hook-oem.so" from the n9005 cm11 rom & the "libsec-ril.so" as well "libril.so" from the stock T325 rom (which is enough by itself to get data working) as well as decompile the framework-res.apk & and change both the sms & voice config bools enable to true (which i'm sure there is a flag for in source)...this makes the phone app appear as well as allows u to send texts then we need to add the line "ro.telephony.ril.v3=newDialCode" to the prop which allows us to dial out. Well...thats where i'm at as of right now so its back to google for me to put together the rest of the pieces unless u have some insight from working on devices with radios that can be of some assistance

Keep an eye on this post...i just jumped off the deep in end & tried to install the hlte version as is (with kernel swap of course ) so it may take me a minute to get back (i have a nandroid but like to make the cjanges manually so i know the exact process & origin of files). Well i'll be damned...incoming calls work (complete with mic & speaker) with note 3 version of cm11! Outoing still seem to be an issue but this clears up a few gray areas i had concerning whether the ril files matched the modem & so on...i had the bright idea of swapping a few of the framework files then just thought they were so similar that the whole thing should boot. Anyway....shouldnt be long to figure out what the hold up is now bu tgive me a few & i'll post the log after i test a ouple of things then flash back to the other setup
edit: Aaaaaaannnnddd....done! added the line i spoke about in my previous post to the build.prop & now both incoming & outgoing calls are working with the N9005 version...just out of curiosity i'm about to go through & see whats broken the first of which i notice is rotation (i personally hate portrait) but seems like everything else is as well including wifi, camera, lid, bluetooth, & ironically speaker audio (video playback & apollo play no audio through loudspeaker...both work through wired headset). I will still get that logcat a lil later...at this point i dont think it has anything else to do with the build prop because i had already added most of the stuff i found missing in ours from the hlte & it didnt work. I'm thinking maybe another lib file that needs to be swapped...perhaps maybe something in framework

The outgoing call issue is likely just that the audio configuration is missing the use cases for voice calls. That's why I wanted the logcat because that should be easy to add.
When you're done with the hlte version (which is actually not a great idea for a daily driver as there are other things that are different that you may not notice (two biggest I can think of is that the hardware is different and several of the HAL libraries need to enable/disable different files in /sys/ and the networking configuration is different which may break some kernel/user-space interactions).
But if you can send me the logcat, the build.prop that you are happiest with and detailed information about anything else that you chnaged (e.g. exactly what you changed in frameworks so I'm not guessing) then I'll take a look at another test build.
