I am using Sky's ICS for the Skyrocket SG2. Ive flashed the latest update for the ROM and have a second, what seems to be, a status bar underneath the regular status bar, with just a battery icon. I can't seem to find whatever program is running that app to turn it off. Anyone know what or how to shut off that status bar?
Its battery status bar. TO remove it dload the battery bar.apk and you can remove it using the app.

I installed the battery bar.apk and went into the app. All it had was to hide the white battery bar at the top. I went through all the settings in the app and can't seem to find an option to remove the battery status bar =\.
it s the first option on the app where it says show battery bar just uncheck the box.

Yah that The "show battery bar" check box just hides the white bar at the very top of my phone. I'd post a picture but the forum won't let me =\. But yah its a battery bar UNDER the regular status bar.
So you got rid of it rite and the solution worked if it did hit that thnx button it helps to know someone appreciate the info.

Uh no it didn't fix the problem. I think there is a slight miscommunication somewhere here. I am having issues with the battery under my original status bar. It doesn't seem to be related with the battery bar mod. The battery bar mod seems to control the white bar up top which I already knew how to alter. It's this one that is right under my regular status bar. I'd post a pic but it requires that I not suck and have more than 8 post lol.
What is the problem with that battery icon?

I want it to go away. It's kinda redundant. I have the circle battery already I don't need a second battery icon underneath is =\
if your using sky ics rom with ics launcher then go hit menu then launcher settings then launcher status bar settings and uncheck show status bar (launcher)
Should take care of it.
OMG thank you! that fixed it! +1 thanks really appreciate it

I've noticed on most of the roms, the status bar with the notifications and clock is at the bottom with the soft-keys (back, home, apps). I was testing CM10 on my P3113 and the status bar is on the top with the soft-keys on the bottom. Is there a way to change this behavior? I've looked around and cannot figure it out.

Check the q&a forum. I posted a work-around.
Am I blind or did Google remove the option to display the percentage in the status bar? I know there are many apps that do this but my OCD says it needs to be on the right side with the battery

I don't remember ever seeing that option stock in any of the previous Android versions. It's usually found in custom ROMs.
Hello, I haven't find a way to change the status bar toggles (can't remove annoying google plus profile acces?) and to make it appear at first when touching status bar and not having to touch the top bar right icon after , screen is big enough to have toggles displayed always (I would want to make them more lilttle also).
Thanks
Have found If I pull down status bar with two finger it goes direct to toggles, it's better than nothing. To modify toggles could be something with root and not another Rom?
note, that functionality had to wait for roms

I am currently in MiUI 12 and I realized that in the status bar it does not show more than 3 icons followed by the 3 points when you have more and I feel that it is not useful since we do not have any notch or hole on the screen, it is possible in any hidden settings activate so that more can be seen?
I never realized this is what was happening!
I thought the dot was some weird icon! Yeah, that is silly on their part!
In Develop Options > Display cut-out, you can choose different notch views, the status bar changes, but dunno if this is the solution.

If I'm not talking nonsense, Xiaomi already had this way of displaying icons in the status bar, long before hole / notch phones existed.
My Mi4c (2015) worked this way
