General Info
This is a Gingerbread AOSP Metamorph. This theme is to emulate a Evo/Inc hybrid with a minimalist look. It includes wifi, 4G, notification pull down transparent bar, working six signal bars, vibrate, alarm and much more.
This Metamorph should work with most AOSP Gingerbread. After installing SystemUI.apk there will be FC's which require reboot. Then install second framework-res.apk and reboot....as always install on fresh rom. I will eventually create a full Evo-Inc-Fuse theme for cm7....ideas welcome. I have included a link on how to mod the lockscreen as the image is in the below screen shot.

how long should it take for the second metamorph to apply? Its been applying framework-res.apk theme for over 5 minutes?
That seems like a long time to me.....it should only work for gingerbread .....what rom are you on....the framework will theme the battery.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
I'm using CM7. After the first reboot it shows the new signal bars and wifi icon but not the battery. After my SD card finishes loading it reverts back to the gingerbread green stock icons. I still can't get the framework-res to install with metamorph, only the system part of the .zip will install. But the transparent notification pull down is sticking without the framework-Res installing.
Sent from my HTC Incredible using Tapatalk
When metamorph asks if I want to update or replace for framework-res I should select update correct?
Sent from my HTC Incredible using Tapatalk
damn!!!!!
I think this is absolutely sick dude!!!!!!! I absolutely love where you are going with this. I personally think you should keep the metamorph going, but do what you think is right. Id be totally interested in and orange, I inverted orange theme with this samd minimalistic feel. Don't understand how bthis isn't one of the most viewed forums on this site!!
I always select replace when the option is prompted...what nightley of cm7 are you on?
I will check out the orange theme and get something rolling.
I'm on 31 nightly. It must not be compatible with 31's framework cause I've tried it numerous times and it just won't finish applying the framework-res in metamorph.
Sent from my HTC Incredible using Tapatalk
I will try 32...I'm currently on 30.....I'll PM you with my results....I will make sure this works for you!
Cheers
I did a clean wipe.... installed fresh 32 nightly...mm the theme.....no issues everything worked perfect...I would suggest that approach.
I would prefer not to have to wipe but if there is no other choice ill give it a shot. So you installed the first part, rebooted, installed the framework-res with no problem with metamorph?
Sent from my HTC Incredible using Tapatalk
Yes I did a clean wipe and installed systemui pulled batt....the installed framework and rebooted.
Not sure why your having issues I wish i could pinpoint the issue. You could try redownloading the mm and give it another shot.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
You could also fix permissions reboot and try mm again.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Bump. Any luck getting this to work with the Androidian theme in Theme Chooser? Btw I am now on nightly 36.

Reply
Sorry for delay I had family emergency this weekend....I am going to build a custom metamorph for you of Androidian and evofuse..to metamorph onto stock cm7. I wanted to make a fused cm7 theme in theme chooser...but there are to many variables..its easier for me to make a MM...it works without bounds. Should be up today or tomorrow.
Cheers
Installed and didn't work so to get rid of it I installed the latest nightly but still get FCs on the status bar

All credits go to the original themer (rel500). I ported this over from the vibrant per a request using theme porter. I had to edit a little bit of xml to get all the text looking correct, and had to play around with some other things to get theme porter to work so I put in a few hours on this and also had to incorporate some icons from the NeonGT port I did to fill in some blanks. Let me know if you'd like any changes made, I'll see what I can do.
Enjoy =)
Prerequisites:Need to be on 2.2 and a deodexed ROM installed (I.E. Pick and Pack) If you already have a theme on it, you'll be just fine too, keep in mind this will only change what I have listed below, so remnants of your previous theme may remain.
NOTE: The launcher shown here is ADW launcher (Black Glass Theme), and the clock/weather widget is Beautiful Widgets (Weather Skin: ANDRODena_Weather_Pack Clock Skin:ANDRODena_GrId - dena994) The font is bender and can be found in the link elijah posted in the theme forum.

Yes you can always re-enable lagfix, i'ts just disabled as a precaution (if something were to go awry during a flash, you don't want your system partitioned as i'ts harder to restore - this is why we disable it)
Thanks again.

this is my 2nd attempt at helping the evo community and i hope some of you guys can help me out with some small stuff.
What it is-
This is a modified version of the CMwallpapers.apk, instead of having the CM wallpapers though it has the wallpapers pulled from a honeycomb system dump since those wallpapers are becoming very popular these days.
a big props goes out to lost.eden in the G1 forums making me a wallpaper gallery when i had my vogue rom i used his modified version in order to make the custom changes needed to create this. along with Whoever made the apk for CM.
YOU MUST UNINSTALL CMwallpapers.apk before installing this or it will not install

apk is attached its signed so just install it through a file explorer, i might make a flashable .zip if i get time tomorrow.
IMPROVEMENTS: this is where i would like some help if possible from the talents in this community, since this has the same package name as CMwallpapers it cant be installed side by side but when i tried changing it in the manifest it FC's anybody have a solution to this. If i get this figured out i can make more galleries like this for other ROMS
installing now!!! very nice.. thanks dude!

Thanks! Installing now.

Is this only able to be installed on CM roms?
FYI - I am running a sense rom
I got it working fine on CM7 RC2 right now. Not sure about the nightlys. I dont see why not though.

Personally I find it a brilliant idea. Instead of posting various wallpapers on my theme threads due to requests from people using the theme, this creates a central location for the most requested wallpapers that go with the theme and it is now built into the theme.
As just a casual user, it may not be as practical as the wallpapers included don't match your style. But for people using my theme it is very useful.
On a side not, Rom's like Deck's version of CM7 for the Evo and AospCmod for the Hero no longer include CMWallpapers as they consider it bloatware, so deleting apk's there is not necessary.
okay so here is just a little update on this,
so after talking to a couple of people on here
so their is no way to make the existing .apk able to be installed along side of the existing CMwallpapers.apk so a whole new one would have to be created in eclipse, with my current skill level that is a bigger task than once thought, but if their is one thing i have learned on here its that anything can be done with enough tenacity.
again i know some users on here wont care at all but i figured i would give you an update for those that do

Sweet flashing, time Now.
I themed my 3G icon to be the U.S. Air Force logo.
I also made my pull down notification bar widget for airplane mode a little F-22. Both are in this theme. They are in a combo package as well as broken out into just the 3G and just the F-22 airplane mode mods.
Here are a few of the icons and a couple screen shots.

At some point in the near future I plan on changing the wifi connected and battery notification icons the same blue as the Air Force logo but I haven't got to it yet. (UPDATE: Almost ready to post this - just trying to figure out how I want the battery meter)
Also, the theme is written in the meta morph format, but I used zipthemer to create the update.zip files and install it, not meta morph.

Since we're all liking the F-22 I thought I'd revive an old post I made. It's one of the first things I actually made to make my phone my own.

The file posted here isn't a flashable zip, it's a theme file. To build a flashable zip download zipthemer from the market. You'll need to follow the instructions on their website to configure it for edify since that's what our recoveries use. Once you have zipthemer installed put this zip in the zipthemer folder on your sdcard, open zipthemer and click theme and select this file. I'd check the build buttons to look at where the flashable file is being saved and what it's going to be called. Then build it! Reboot to recovery and flash it!
You should also be able to use metamorph from the market with this a well but metamorph I hear dorks up any Widgets you have and you will have to re-add them. Which is why I don't use metamorph
Let me know how this works out for you.

So I had some spare time and decided to create a honeycomb look to the statusbar in Undeadk9's Senseless ROM. Before you ask, the background came from the ADW Honeycomb theme you can get in the market, and no, I didn't theme overscroll or anything like that, just the battery/statusbar icons.
Here's the link:
http://www.multiupload.com/03H3588OC0
Here are the instructions:
1. download zip
2. reboot into recovery
3. make a nandroid backup (in reality you can just reflash the ROM in case anything messes up)
4. wipe cache/dalvik
5. (optional?) I mounted /data and /system in mounts and storage just to make sure
6. install zip from sdcard
select "honeycombthemedsenseless.zip" and proceed
7. reboot
8. enjoy
Also, please don't ask for me to make little tweaks to this as the UOT kitchen is VERY easy to use and it will be better for you to learn how to use it and make whatever mods/themes your heart could ever imagine.

Yeah the UOT kitchen is fun, I'd recommend it anyone who wants a taste of flashing/customizing things on their own!
It works with the new version?
It should, I used the stock ROM files for this mod and they haven't changed, make a NANdroid and try it out! I'm running it on his senseless 3.5.0 ROM with no problems.
I don't get it, I tried making my own theme and applying it to senseless, and got bootloops. When I asked undead about it, he said it was because of an encryption he has on his roms to prevent kanging. Completely understandable, but how did you get yours to work, unclespoon?
Sent from my Senseless Doubleshot using XDA App
Bootloop here too, but no worries, I know undead will create a flashable version for us if we ask
I am having 0 problems using this theme on 3.7.1 senseless !
Sent From Senseless MyTouch 4G Slide !
I used the stock framework and apk files when it asks for you to upload files and it works fine. I got bootloops when I used undead's files, too. Also, make sure flash type is eMMc instead MTD or whatever the default is. Themes are tough because someone is always going to want something to be a little different and so really you're best off going to the kitchen with the stock deodexed ROM files and making a theme/mod to suit your needs. Best of luck!
I see, okay I'll look into this, thanks. Any chance that you know how to remove the recent apps in the status bar?
