If you want an amazingly simple and free remote touchpad/keyboard app for your mes, this is it. You can connect through wi-fi or usb connection, you do have to download something on the pc end too.
There also one called unified remote. It has a bunch of different kinds of remotes. Version 2 isn't out of beta yet but you can download the beta from there website Unifiedremote.com

We all like to get New cool apps on our phones, I came across a web-base app AKA mobile website that has movies for android in HD
tinyurl.com/freeandroidmovies
just make sure you visit from your android phone or else you will be redirected to the blog.
Have to sign up and it's closed to registration as of 12-12-10

Doesn't work. It asks you to register, and when you go to register, its says registrations are suspended, any other method of watching online, thanx

If you are just transferring media you can take a look at airsync by douletwist. If you are trying to control your pc from your android device remotely you can take a look at team viewer. You will have to install the app on your pc and ypur phone. To get the android app go to the team viewer website because the app is not available thru market.

I have a PC in the US and a netflix account, currently I'm on (a long) vacation in a different country where netflix doesn't work.
I want to install some VPN solution on my PC there and watch netflix on my transformer, is there an app that can connect to such vpn and direct all/some traffic through there?
What should I install on my PC? OpenVPN? I don't suppose hamachi can work? I already use that...
Thanks
You can probably use MyCloud (SplashTop), I've tried it before and it work OK.
Follow this tutorial and I got it set up on the first try.

thanks, I saw some old threads about this, but a networking solution feels better than a remote desktop.
Try strongvpn account. Set it up on your eepad and watch netflix without need for PC. Youll need to install netflix app on your eeepad of course.
Root then use the modded system file to watch it directly from your phone

I use playon
It works great. A little expensive but you get hulu, netflix, cbs.com, and many others.

I use hideipvpn (see below), currently on iPad but as soon as next gen of Android tablets will see the daylight I am moving on to one of them (preferably Transformer 2 - anything but Tegra 2 ;-) ).
Plus I would like to use netflix app like on iPad - without the need for any hocus - pocus.
Proxpn is great. If you subscribe to premium you can use their pptp servers without any extra software. You just add a VPN in honeycombed settings. $10 gets you a bunch of US servers, UK and maybe more.

my 10th post.
download realvnc for the computer, it's the best vnc server. For good performance and free, get pocketcloud from the market as the viewer, for great performance buy realvnc viewer.

VPN by Private Internet Access
Also used on my pc. Great speed, decent price, and tested anonymity (better look into that on whatever you choose, not all do a very good job )
VPN unlimited, 20$ for three years access unlimited, five devices. Deal available through stack social

VyprVPN. Use it on two laptops and on the phone. Its very good.
Some additional features to prevent DNS leaks and another feature that i forgot the name of that disguises the fact you are using a VPN for traffic(Useful for the office, that blocks all VPN connections over the WiFi.)
Tunnel Bear as suggested by @jhurtault is really good...
Vypr is good for cross platform compatibility...
PureVPN one subscription work on computer + Android phone
