[Resolved] Valid image formats - General Questions and Answers

I have an image I'd like to post to a forum here, it was taken by an android app called shootme, but I get an error message saying it's an invalid format when I try.
I know others have posted images created by this app. Is there something I need to do to tweak the image prior to upload?
Thanks!

Encrypted XML

I was wondering about the xml encryption in the applications, are they encrypted at build time, and what kind of encryption?
they are a sort of binary encryption and it is done at build time.
Ya have to go to the source to see them in plain text.

Is there another way to decrypt *.xml files without knowing the source code...??????

Gmail with froyo not the newest version?

Before the froyo update I had the option to "preview" or "download" for media files, but now it only shows "preview". Tried opening and hitting menu to see if its just buried now.
My question is....if I can find the .apk for the newest version of gmail (from before froyo) and install it on froyo, are there any issues that could possibly arise?

Yes you can. Go into a message, hit menu button, select "more" or whatever its called, and there's an option to select text.
I prefer the way dolphin HD browser does it...

Downloaded and installed, didn't fix the issue outlined in my original post.
Any other ideas? How do I save files (not pictures) that are emailed?

Don't think you can (unfortunately). I tried to download a .txt and .zip file and wasn't able to d/l either. I tried everything I could.
The most I could do was preview the .txt.
Not sure why they wouldn't allow this (perhaps security?), but they should definitely allow the option to d/l stuff.

Flipfonts from Samsung Vibrant Works! Link to Font Masterlist

I've successfully installed these font packages and they look great! I obviously deserve no credit for any of the fonts or work that went into creating them... Enjoy!

Yes it is. And I would never recommend anyone to trust somebody who posts a link to download software away from the Play Store unless they are a recognised Dev - it could be anything at all.

You might consider editing your first post and removing the link that does not point to the market. I know you were trying to be helpful, but that doesn't look good.

So this is a weird one...

N/M Sorted.
Oh ok because I found some xml files which say:
error.xml
safemode.xml
main.xml
popup.xml
Also I found a HTML file which is viewed when you open the application and some of the files mentioning some naughty stuff.
I will send the file to the virus labs.
What did you install before this issue occured?
