I've tried to install 3 or 4 different font packs and none of them have any characters from other languages (like if somebody tweets Korean or kanji or something) and they are missing lots of special characters, so that whenever one of those characters is there it's just a rectangle thing. I tried switching back to Droid Sans even and there are still lots missing. Does anybody know how I can fix this, or have a way for me to just go to the default Droid sans with all the characters?

Anybody happen to know which system/app holds the keyboard alphabet either in Froyo or 2.1? I'm trying to change the colors for the alphabet.
I know LatinIME holds the key icons and numbers, but I can't find where the alphabet is, so I can change the letter colors. Thanks.

I'm having a problem with the lock screen: the date font does not include diacritics and my day names are displayed incorrectly (missing letter "ț").
How can I change this font?

Is cloctopia used for both time and date? I want to change the date font.
AFAIK the date font is just the system font, so just droidsans or w/e it is. i would just pull /system/fonts and poke around to see which one is missing the character.
I half expected the system font to have all the characters. Any replacement suggestions that look similar but have central/eastern european character sets?
Well i search in this forum for a 2.3 Mms.apk with Bubbles Spech option but i dont find anyone :S searching google i find a Mms.apk with emoji emerge integrated (need the font instaled to see) and nice bubbles spech option!
If anyone can change the color of the sender bubble (not the white) to a gray or black, and supress the emoji integration for a lite version will be batter!

You could get the GOSMS app. from the market and change it yourself in about two seconds. Also, the emoji plugin specific to that is downloadable and usually listed right bleow it.
GOSMS has a ton of themeing options built right into it. If you have not checked it you might want to. It inherintly has the ability to do what you need. Hope this helps at all.

Hi, please help with changing colour of font in Swype 2.6. Default colour of font in suggestion box (dictionary) is white and I don't know which hex line should be changed. I tried to look everywhere for answer but I've found inly hex for tracer colour. I've seen many beautiful themes with different font colours but nobody shares the secret.

You have to edit the png img using apk manager, if you want to just change the fonts then head over to uot kitchen and cook up a theme, there's lots of diffrent fonts

yes...but I ment fonts (hiden somewhere between hexes in lib\libSwypeCore.so) in pop up dictionary suggestions not letters of keybord which are part of png's.
I updated my vivo next to funtouch 8.9.1 and part of the update changed the font style of my Japanese kana characters, but not the kanji characters.
It looks dumb. Every word I type is in 2 different font styles now and the new one looks messy
I can fix this by switching my phone system language to Japanese but then I can't understand most of it (still learning). How can I get rid of this new font style?
Edit: tried using older version of keyboard, still won't let me use system font style
