i am having this problem when i connect my galaxy s 2 with kies.it gives this.Your device does not support software upgrading via Kies.i have I9100KI4 (KOR)
i am living in Pakistan.
so what should i do?whether to wait Pakistani update of what?
and what (KOR) means? korean?if korean then wonti ever be able to update my phone?kindly help me out.thanks
You can flash a stock ROM for your region and then Kies should recognise that.

but why my phone doesnt it gets updated via kies?like if my bro send me a phone from uk.should i send the phone back for updates?
You don't need to send your phone anywhere to get it updated - there must be another reason why Kies won't update it. Have you ever flashed a custom ROM or firmware?
actually it was locked here and i went to a shop to unlock it.it has siyah kernel and i guess it was flashed once for unlocking.
and how to get back the custom ROM etc if it was flashed?
yes i did flash custom firewre and ROM.let mee send u the snapshot of it.
You cannot use Kies to update your ROM if you have a custom ROM. It will only work if you have the correct branded or unbranded ROM as per my first post.

i am unable to update via kies.

No updates via kies

I gave my phone to samsung people for EFS or IMEI Problem .
They updated my phone to same version 2.3.6 I was already on it .
and now when I am connecting my phone to kies for ICS update its saying
"Your phone does not support updates via kies"
Never rooted..
the product code of your phone has changed, to be exact the country code in the phones product code. you will need the IMEI number and your country code to switch it.
you can check your current product code

1. get your country code from fus.nanzen.se
scroll down to presets and search for you country/provider check the product code. the last three letters are your country code.
Create a backup before proceeding it will wipe your data and reboot your phone.
2. To change your country code (IMEI = your phone IMEI number, you can get your IMEI by typing *#06#)

You will have a list of available codes to choose from. install the one which applies to your country.
Hai my friend brought a mobile from UK tmobile samsung galaxy s2 gt i9100. I faced the network block in INDIA so changed the firmware didnt note the base firmware. Changed the firmware to I9100XWKL1 then i faced the network block . i read some forums and install GALAXY S2 UNLOCK app and tried it shows " could not acquire super user access! Is your device rooted?" i installed super user and super su app and tried it shows "binary is not installed this app cant install it ". I tried to root the device with superoneclick It also shows some error. I tried by using galaxy_s unlock app. In step 1" it shows busy box problem fix it " . Galaxy sim unlock app also doesn't work for me . Now changed the firmware to ICS 4.04

I have a YU5010A and i recently tried flashing stock firmware and i lost my imei number. Now it keeps rebooting if i put on sim cards and without them it boots up. I sent it to a few service centers but they were not able to fix it. Any solution or patch to restore the imei number would be appreciated! Its and Indian unit. Hope will get a positive respone soon.

Before start, i want to tell you i'm French, i'll do my best for having a good english.
Here is my problem :
I've a Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920F, root.
Everytime i'm flashing a new ROM, i always have the same problem : Not registered on network
So i can't phone / sens msg / have 3G etc ...
I usually RESTORE my EFS and RADIO with recovery and my problem was solve.
BUt first question : 1/ Why i always have to do this ????
Here is the new problem, i recently flashed a rom version 4DPG2, everything went good BUT i still have my bug not registered on network. So i restore EFS and RADIO and this is not working cuz u can't downgrade a MODEM 4DPG2 in 3DPG.
I tried to only resto my EFS but it changed nothing.
For information, my IMEI is still present
Question 2/ How can i solve my network problem ???
What i tried :
- Rinstall from SmartSwitch --> fail install x2
- Flash a stock ROM --> Not registered on network
- Restore EFS and RADIO : IMEI delete // Restore only EFS : IMEI is fine but no network

Hi guys i dont know what to do anymore.. i have big problem with my galaxy s6 g920f, no matter what i do i cant connect to mobile carrier.. after check the imei is clean not blocked i check the sim on other phone everything works good so its only the phone i have triad to put custom version few stock version include the ILO version i am from israel and the phone works good the only thing is not working is mobile data.. i have this issue before on the version 6.0 back in time i was have 5.1.1 twrp backup and i found working solution.. to restore only the radio settings and that was sole the problem! i was deleted all the twrp backup.. by mistake now i cant get any carrier connection on my phone ne matter what version what modem i will flash its not working.. i hear few phone was perches in the us have problem to connect the mobile carrier in the version 6.0.. anyone have a solution please ? i am sorry about my english..

Have you checked that you have correct apn settings
yes that is one of the first thing i did that not solved the problem.
