Picked up the O2 Graphite from Thailand over the weekend. Would it be possible to create a new forum for the phone ? Will post a little mini review of the phone
O2 graphite is an Asus.. we have great discrimination on non-HTC devices or else, the site may have been flooded with devices from HP, Asus, Treo.. although we have an exception of the Atom.
BTW I think there are folks who are looking at P525 cooked ROMs, etc on the forums. Not a problem. Just wanted to inform people about the new smartphone phone - its pretty a solid offering and beats the Breeze - but like most Windows devices, its not without it own oddities. Thanks
Someone knows if the 3G function will work in Israel (Orange Network)?
I think the Graphite is working on 2100 mHz, right? Whats it in Israel?
Orange Israel rep. told me they don't hand 3g sim cards to be installed in phones they do not market. You don't actually have to buy the phone from them it just has to be a model they work with. And since they don't sell any windows mobile smartphones they wouldn't give me a 3g sim card :-(
Hi all,
I used to have a Microsoft Smartphone, until I switched to an HTC TyTn. I'm thinking of switching back to the smartphone because it's lighter. My question is, with the new Windows Mobile Branding, will my TyYn's software be usable in, say a TMobile Dash? I need to know this because I bought Tomtom 6 and I want to be sure it works with a Dash (or any Windows Mobile Smartphone for that matter). Thanks.

Hello, I'm thinking to buy a dual SIM Android phone, what's the brand and what's the best ?
NGM Droid DUO
Gigabyte GSmart G1310
Motorola XT800
any other ?
The best one is General Mobile DSTL1 (AKA SciPhone N21). It's the best one, since it is the only one. LOL
I don't know of any other dual-sim Android phone.
Nokia will launch The C2-03 model which have the ability to carry dual SIM cards.
I've currently got a ZTE Blade running GSF. I'm looking at options for a new phone for my wife in January. I live in Ireland, travel to the UK regularly so the phone should be available in one of those markets. My first priority when choosing is that it can be SIM unlocked, my second that there's a 2.3 ROM available (if not already installed) and ideally that it's within the CyanogenMod community of interest (no necessarily officially supported). I'd like something with a better CPU than the Blade. I'm not willing to use a TurboSIM.
The Blade is an easy unlock. A lot of Samsung models can be unlocked using the BML5 method. What else is out there that's an easy/free home unlock?
Finally, how do phones with MT6573 CPU's compare with the ARMv6 chips in the branded offerings?
surely there are some others?
Hi all you tech geniuses and andoid wizards.
I recently purchased an AG Mobile Chrome ultra mobile phone from my brother because of the phones dual sim capabilities.
Ag is an affordable phone brand sold in South Africa, which i recently discovered is manufactured by Fortune ship mobile in China.
Now for my main question the phone is running a fairly basic 4.4.2 KitKat rom, but i would like to change it to a newer Rom like a CM12. The phone is rooted, but i am still using the stock recovery. I was wary of changing the recovery because i was uncertain about compatibility.
If anyone knows of a guide that i can use to update the Rom, reply with a link.
TIA
