Many of you have been very generous, so I'd like to get some input on what you guys want me to work on next...
I'm not really to excited about porting other peoples work... but if you guys really want something, i can.
To-Do
CM6 Red Theme - framework
-Themed apps, stock icons-Themed apps, themed icons
Make more red sense icons
sense sucks(except for some of the widgets) so dont worry about doing anything w/ sense...as much red as we can get for cm6 would be great...i would try to do some stuff w/ the status bar like changing the 3g/wifi icons, the time, also i like that battery icon that was on your other red customization (the circular red one)...just a few suggestions, i will try to think of some more...thanks dude, your stuff is badass!
I'd like to see red or maybe even yellow for the sky raider rom. I actually like sense just don't like how the launcher looks on it. Anything would be appreciated though. Thanks for the themes and keep up the good work

I'm kinda leaning toward theming that Rom... 2.2 with sense is pretty nice, plus I don't see issues with cm6 getting fixed anytime soon. Im so torn between the two roms, cm has trackball wake and customization for long pressing the home button but the new 2.2 rom has internal storage and may have a working camera soon.
I should've put a little more thought into that poll... opinions anyone?
I think you should work on the most functional roms first. That way your time won't go to waste, you'd be theming a Rom that no ones going to be using. Thinking you should really go with sky raider for now.
And I agree about the launcher on sense its the main reason I don't use sense ui. Wait till a real stable cm 6 comes out then make a bada** theme for it.. ill get your kid some nice power rangers if u do!

Definitely Blue/Red for CM 6.
I think as the bugs are worked out over the next couple (few?) weeks, a lot of people will be moving over to Cyanogen.

I'll be getting CM6 as soon as the bugs are worked out and it would be great to have a red theme for that.
+1 to red CM6...Cyanogenmod's gonna be HOTTT!! Verizon made the highlights red, so its only fitting...Dark status bar with a transparent window!
Sorry for my absence, I am finally feeling healthy. Looks like it's gonna be red for CM-6. I'm starting a to-do list on the op so i can prioritize, so if you want any of those custom icons please remind me...

What are the chances you could package a red themed NexusMod live wallpaper with your red theme? In particular the wallpaper from the droid. That would be sick, and I can't find the damn wallpaper anyway.
Yeah id like neural network too. Or maybe ask koush to port it? He's the one that got the nexus wallpaper working on the Droid months ago, it never loaded until he came along.
My girlfriend would freak if you could make an all purple theme and I told her I would but it wouldn't get done until the next major android update comes out. She saw this thread and begged me to post to ask you. Thanks.

Chances are slim, unless you can get me the source code for it... then i may be able to hack it, but that would take me forever since i have no skills
Of course, if you use CM roms nexus mod is included.

I'd just like to point out that you have excellent taste in music.
NOTE: i have posted this in themes and here so that those that are/were not aware of how to utilize video on froyo would have better chances of seeing it or those that didnt want to check out froyo for the no vid or buggy cam issue. This is also a tut on how to get it working for you. I think this should be posted in dev and theme since it qualifies as both.

I began work on this and it is exclusive to a specific froyo rom atm. I am working on 2more things right now and i need some feedback towards what to add to this setup, and when i get enough changes/added mods and/or edits, i can then release another PUBLIC version in update.zip form. Its not just a skin though, this is what i did so that i could test a froyo rom. So this is the EXACT mod im running right now. I will be editing two more items shortly. I will be optimizing and zipaligning the app and framework folders since i just found a sweet new script.

The reason there are two files rather than just one or added to a rom is because they do not work together and it will not work that way for me. I am working on it. I will update it as soon as i figure it out.

congrats on the first froyo theme and thanks for the work...however, I don't think I'll be using this. Personally, it kinda hurts my eyes to look at. Again, that is just me personally, I'm sure plenty of people will love this ROM. Thanks for the work.
Good theme. I will have to agree with post #3. This theme is to robust for my style. The lock screen, the rosie theme and the font. Not my flava, but maybe someone else will enjoy it.

think if you change the wallpaper you'd find it less distracting, thats whats drawing my eyeballs the most.
You obviously having theming skills, i mean you know how to manipulate stuff, you do good with the colors most of the time. i can't begin to do it. your choice of fonts are always horrible to me though. If you kept stock fonts i guarantee people would enjoy your stuff a lot more. your name looks ghetto on the launcher button also. Look at koni's stuff, thats good theming, and he doesnt put his name out in the open with some ghetto freestyle uneven font to be in your face 24/7. Tone it down some if you care to please others. If you dont, which you make clear in all of your theme threads, then leave it alone and only you will like it. I've never seen anybody rip in to themers like they do to you, i'm beginning to understand why, Waste of bandwidth.

If thats a bad thing im sorry. not a big % of pps like my theming,but the ones that do, really apppreciate it and encourage me to continue. If someone else made themes that i would be happy using, i wouldnt have ever started doing what i call theming.

If you have no idea how to do this than thats it. YOU HAVE NO IDEA whats involved so i cant expect you to begin to appreciate this form of art. FYI, case you didnt notice finisher is not my name but the name of a mod i created by myself and take great pride in. I am magnus if you didnt see my sig, i know its pretty hard to see. I provided 3 other options AS STATED IN THE OPS, there are also froyo 2.2 and one for baked as well. YOu should consider reading a bit more carefully before posting all willy nilly; EVERYTHING short of your opinion is completely unfounded and/or JUST wrong and shows that you lack the dedication to read ops for w/e reason. Also i am an artist that uses many mediums;this is just another. Art is obective,even controversial sometimes. Should picasso have quit because pps insulted his work and he himself for creating it? We all have opinions and thanks for sharing yours. If you cared to read ops, rather than just come across as crass you may have helped me create something more appealing to yourself, cared to notice the 5 addl fonts i have on the same page as my rom dls, or took the time to read all the POSITIVE comments i have in my threads. That is fine if you want to come across as negative as you have but just try to get the WHOLE picture before posting like this again. Also, if i was happy flashing other ppls work like yourself i would not do what i do. I am not that type. I appreciate what koni does here. hes awesome. but thats koni's spin on theming. I provide ANOTHER choice. DO WE NEED TWO OF ANY THEMER? thats pretty lame if you ask me, maybe you can take the time to learn and then become a koni clonie. thanks alot. its rough in this neck of the woods all sorts of trolls....yes atm; its actually worth nandroiding and checking out cus you dont lose your camcorder or cam and you get froyo and full flash is sick and internet speed is amazing. this is MY take on froyo, since i cant seem to leave a rom the way it is before i flash it. i was actually making this theme for hero over's froyo to be integrated with a froyo release but it was too much. for me i really cut back i thought but to him that was not enough. I tried to make something cool for baked but hey, we all benefit either way! so all is well I wouldve really liked to make it for baked froyo because i like baked roms but it kinda sucked that i spent all that time making it and sitting on it for 3days after i hurried up to get done, only to hear that it was not the right theme for the job. Oh well im not a themer anyway
Ill be starting work on a blue theme very soon though. Im sure anyone who likes my work will like the blue too.....i hope . What rom did you need it for?

way to much going on doesnt help me improve it. keep in mind you are judging my own personal rom, so i made it for myself and then shared it. then gave a few options of mainav scroller for those that cared to try it. how should i improve it to make it less? my style is different. if i was a minimalist my themes would look boring to me and i would not use it at all so i could not test it. sorry you dont like it. maybe next time

Wow! For some reason this theme makes Evo Fresh Rom Quick and smooth. So far this is one of the best theme that make a Rom smooth

Working great on baked snack 1.5 kernel #5, but i am getting a FC when trying to change my input method to HTC_IME keyboard... I didn't check before flashing this, but maybe it is not included in BS1.5.
I know you said the install modify's a few apks, and if it wasnt installed before i flashed this theme, i believe i've found the culprit.
do you think you can post the IME keyboard apk so I can test this out?

I'm Loving this theme after using for a couple days. I don't think this Theme is getting the props it deserves. Its minimal, sleek and The new animations are REALLY WICKED when you set spare parts to Window Animations = Normal/Fast and Transition Speed = Fast, this thing feels like it should be android 2.3 lol
I know alot of people use Fresh ROM, but please do not replace this version with one that is compatible with both cuz it may not work for us non-Fresh users. I will be willing to test any upcoming builds for you, OP, just let me know.

It is just hard to juggle time between work, school, girlfriend, beers, jager bombs, dancing, deving, sleeping, eating, banging, some more jager bombs, and eventually theming. Not to mention I have to constantly avoid TJDucketts' hate stick.

I like them both however I would love to see the Bluetopia ported. Here is the link to check out what I am talking about. I fsomeone can do this a considerable donation would be coming from myself. Although I am sure donations would come from many on this one.

Porting the rom would be ridiculous, especially considering some of it is broken and would be too much work making it functional for the incredible. If it is just the theme you want, that's easy to pull, but I'm downloading it right now to take a look at it.

Whether it is just ported over as a theme to be flashed/metamorphed or its "cooked" into a rom, it is the same. a flashable theme is much more convenient, since you are only replacing files in your current system, as opposed to wiping and starting over just to gain different aesthetics in the same exact rom, and having to go through the annoying process of setting back up again for basically nothing. Right now, I am about to try it on SR 3.3.3 and see how it goes, then in Desire Z rom. If all goes well, I'll post it in the themes section and let you know, otherwise I will post failure here and let you know if it isn't working lol.
Well for the most part, in SR 3.3.3 it seemed to work. Everything functioned and almost all of the theme elements were there. But it was definitely incomplete. For one, most incredible roms incorporate smooth sense icons. The theme does not have this since it is from the desire, so that creates an issue because only 5 of the 100 battery icons were themed lol. same with the sync icon. For some reason the signal bars did not change even though I ported the com.htc.resources also. I think a couple system apps did not theme (People app for sure, not sure what others) and the dockbar was espresso style but did not have the themes color. I'm sure there were other missing elements but as it stands, this will become too much work for me to correct, especially since more people will want it on different roms, which means porting and troubleshooting those as well.
Thanks for your attempt. If I may ask one request can you please post the Expresso bar and lockscreen with the black clock in an update.zip form. Those are the 3 elements that i would really like to have. I appreciate it once again.

Welcome to SalvageMod Sense. This is a fun side project I've been working on. SalvageMod Sense is a HTC Sense project based off the Speedy Sense 2.1 upgrade. This does not contain the usual 3.0+2.1 merge you might be used to, and is not the goal of this project. So no asking. I thought I would share this ROM with you guys for anyone wanting a stable sense 2.1 experience. The ROM is uploaded to Google Code so if you're interested you may visit the links provided below.
This project features a fairly stock, yet enhanced, sense 2.1 experience. It also features a new kernel based on HTCs source code, ChopSuey. This kernel is open source on Google Code as well, again, links provided below. The kernel is fairly stock with a few additions, but more to come.
Why is it called SalvageMod!? I dunno.. I don't really like coming up with names. SalvageMod took a lot of brain power. At some point, my homie lith might join in and contribute to this one, so I figured we'd keep the team name together.

Thanks to leoisright for getting me interested in this port with the very first "alpha" he released. I have been picking away here and there ever since
Known issues:
-Boot animation is broke. Sits on "salvage-mod" but it's booting. Be patient.
-HDMI out?

What does this ROM look like?
Sense.
To do:
Implement undervolting
Allow overclocking
Add a few more cpu scaling options to the mix
Few UI changes I have in mind
Fix boot animation (compression issue I do believe)
Fix slight alignment issue on lockscreen text previews (almost money)
Add more options to notification widgets
Implement some OG salvage goods?
Clean some more things up. Still a little overweight
Some system apps needs updating
Remove pesky location notification
Run a marathon
Take my dog for a walk

barnacles, this is exactly what i was hoping for man. No disrespect to any of the 2.1 + 3.0 "accents" ROM's, but they just seemed a bit laggy for me (especially when pulling down the notification bar). This feels very quick, has enough extra, but still slim. Appreciate this!
hey, great job, it looks like you disable the flipclock, since you did that, you might as well finish it off by upgrading the screen from 4x4 to 4x5, as i beleive having the flip animation disables 4x5 and sticks on 4x4 no matter what.

hey barnacles, i noticed when i get a text message on the lock screen that the text message icon is pink....can this be changed
edit: also, does anyone know how to update to the latest market? I tried clearing cache and data, but it's a no go.
edit 2: i'm not sure if DTa2sd is set up right, i'm not showing my sd-ext in titanium backup and when i run a2sd check in terminal emulator and it said something about no mount block.
Just trying to be helpful since this is an RC. Don't mean to offend anyone.
Edit again: i flashed the dta2sd beta 4 zip file and it's up and running now. probably something on my end, but if not, i hope this helps someone.

I would just like to mention that as I was reading this, "Chop Suey" by system of a down came on octane on sirius radio. Found it rather amusing! Downloading. Always dig anything from you brotha!

I am going to download this and take a look. I like the way the 3.0+2.1 builds look but I have had some problems. I have tried Synergy and MikG. Had another bootloop while using the phone again today. I am not sure if the problem is the ROM or the Freedom kernel.

excellent ROM! nice everyday driver! I second the lock screen pink Icon, if that could be changed that would ideal....Also if you could raise the "lock ring" up a little that would be awesome too!!
The rom is the balls man. I love it. I've never been a big fan of the 3.0+ 2.1 roms. They never seem to work out or they lag too much and the battery life is usually suspect in my eyes. I'll be sticking with your rom for a while barnacles. Thank you.
