Nice gona give OpenEclair port a chance.
PS: Today is my birthday, thanks for my b-day present.
Do you have to download and flash the ACR_ file afterwards or something?

Wow~happy birthday !
Basically I did a backup, wipped, then tried port_openeclair... that didn't boot it was like in some kind of error cycle according to adb logcat, so then I tried the ACR_fender file that basically seemed to be a stock image 1.6.
So now I'm trying OpenEclair without wiping.
My Log so far with OpenEclair, still not past the first boot screen.
http://paste.pocoo.org/show/185252/
Openeclair I didn't test maybe that one don't work and acr is stock just removed stuff
No luck with OpenEclair, but port_KiNgKlick-ECLAIR has made it to the second boot screen but the wizzard keeps crashing when I try to sign in.
Edit: Got signed in, note to others, give it a moment before trying.
I went with Stokes, it seemed faster in general, turned off animations and what not. Only difference I notice is for some reason I can't sync the secondary email like I could on King, and it kept asking to add an account during setup so I just hit home.
I'm reinstalling apps now and the best part is, I got the protected market apps back.
PS: Great job, will probably use this until something 'confirmed' stable comes out.
Its a nice birthday gift
so do these roms recognize the touchscreen?
Awesome job! Are you able to share the drivers with other devs so we can get some other customer ROMs cooking? I would love to have OpenEclair fully working!

If I'm using it on my fender, obviously, only 2.1 rom I had problems with was OpenEclair.

my bad dude, it wasnt stated so i had to make sure before i flashed it.. but thanks
FYI, Wired Tether for Root users that came with The Stokes Eclair rom won't work "Unsupported" Kernel it says.
No worry though, I use Azilink + OpenVPN on the computer for tethering which doesn't require root access either.
So far the Stokes one been promising.

I have just flashed the newest nightly build for the Desire HD (2011-03-03). The sound is WORKING on my Telus HTC Desire HD.
I am not sure if this is news, but i thought it worth a mention, as the RC still did not support us Telus users.
All credit to the CM guys, I did nothing.

I'm not sure if you've noticed...
The sound works, but it sounds like hell... I still need to use the soundfix from XDA.
The soundfix will be incorporated into #13 by the looks of it...
I agree it sounds "tinny". I just got excited to hear anything at all. LOL.

Tried installing the 'Device check disabled' and the market netflix app both close on launch. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Won't work on xboarder's rom. Won't work on any 2.3.3 rom. You have to use CWM, EB, and some others. Check out the development section regarding this.

I am currently using MIUI-MIUI.us_blaze_4.0.3-2.2.10 and it works pretty well for only being in its' alpha stages. It lacks hardware acceleration, (netflix, youtube, etc.), but it is updated frequently and is relatively stable and easy to install. You should give it a go man.
Edit: App I suggested doesn't work on the Fire.
