ROM has auto-kernel (contains 32A, 32B and 32B 2708 radio kernels), so ported kernels aren't needed.
If you got green tint, you'll need to flash other kernel for fix (eg. pershoot's)

will it also work on g1? MAgic 32b has this same stuff inside so it shouldn't be any problem right?
edit, ok I just read the topic about it. I will try it
edit 2. Works fine, but it's bit laggy. No fc's, bt works, gallery 3d also. CMsettings are very important form me and this rom doesn't have it. Back to froyo

Great ROM
My Info
-----------
Saphire PVT 32A ENG S-OFF H
Hboot 1 33 2010
Radio 3 22 23 18
Working:
-------------
Wifi
Market
Browser
Camera (except soft FC when switching from Pic to Video)
Not working
-----------------
Bluetooth (will try again after rebooting)

32A green color on screen

anyway , it is great that some one would try magic on cm7…

Auto kernel is inside, so 32b/32a users don't need to flash anything. If anybody gets green screen, just flash pershoot's kernel, it'll fix it.

This is not CM7, it is in fact ezterry's aosp 2.3.

sorry but where can i get that kernel to fix the green tint ?
thanks in advance

Just flash in recovery.

Hi guys,
first of all thanks nice worke, it runs almost perfect...
currently using pershoot kernel´s up to 614mhz but it´s a bit laggy is there another i can use?
Thanks

Good point. Also, ezterry's AutoKernel feature only works with 32a phones that are using the 3.22 old radio.
We are at the same place where we've been with previous rom versions. To keep things simple we may want to stick with one thread for the 3.22 radio and a different thread for the 6.35 radio.
Just my two cents....

I see.... You are right.
I really thought it is CM7, cause it was posted in the CM-forum.
I renamed the topic.
hope thats better...
What shell we do?
I think it is a good idea to have a current overview for all combinations (radio, 32A/32B) in one post...?

If you have 32A magic, flash 1.76 SPL + 6.35 radio and try giant_rider's port for NR. UI is smoother, but camera doesn't work.

Since this isn't CM, am i right to say that this rom doesn't have CM settings and etc?

Market
One little (maybe BIG) problem
1 - Wipe
2 - Ginger
3 - gapps
and... Market doesn't appear in my programs?!
Any ideias why?!

My opinion is it is better to split the roms / ports out for the different phone / radio combinations otherwise the thread conversations get too confusing.
I started a 32a 6.35 thread before you updated this one. Maybe you change this one to 32a 3.22 and creat one for 32b?
On the other hand, ezterry's AutoKernel currently supports the 32a 3.22 and 32b, so that could be one thread because very little, if any, additional porting stuff needs to get done.

there is something going on with CM7

One question, the rom seems perfect and quite fast.
How do we root it ? I tryied to install adFree and it says that i ain't root

Try to install superuser from market.

[ROM] KB7SQI's Rogers Mod 2.7.2 (dream/sapphire-32B) Updated 10/31/2009

So why another Rogers based build or updated Virtudude Rogers Rom V3 build? The reason for this rom is because I had a few friends request it and there's been several requests in Virtudude's thread.
Before flashing this rom, like most other Roger builds, this requires SPL 1.33.2005. If you want all the "auto" goodness like apps2sd, compcache, etc, please feel free to look the following builds:
Enomther's TheOfficial Rogers (dream/sapphire-32B) MOD
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=556933
Soulife's Roger Remix! Please check out his thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=523608
These guys provided alot of support for this build directly. Thanks again!
Before swapping over to Soulife's awesome Roger's Remix, I ran VirtuDude's v3 rom for sometime. It was always stable & ran well. I don't consider myself a "developer." By day, I work as a Sun SSE, but I do run linux @ home besides Solaris, OpenSolaris, etc. All I did was compile the kernel & a lot of repacking based on others work. All the credit really goes to the all the great developers here especially Soulife, Virtudude, Haykuro, JF, Cyanogen, & enomther. If you like this rom, then please donate to them! They deserve it. Thanks for making this stuff enjoyable to learn!
Here's a quick run down. I've decided to Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS) from here on out w/ this mod. Here's the deal, if you want auto apps2sd, then flash the kb7sqi-a2sd-mod.zip after you flash the rom. The stock builds does come w/ an a2sd script in bin & if you choose to have a userinit.sh script on /system/sd, it'll run it otherwise it automatically sets the platform properly, enables compache by default and sets the clock speed to 528/245 Max/Min Mhz. This makes it a win/win for all & make things simpler for me to have to explain. But please NOTE, the auto apps2sd script I've included ONLY moves apps2sd, NO DATA! It's much safer that way. It works exactly the way Soulife's Roger's Remix version does and it's been customized for this build specifically! Thanks Soulife!
This build is based off the latest Rogers HTC Dream Update 1.86.631.1 release on 08/25/2009. Thanks goes out to Charrion for risking his Dream & providing the dump! Here's the information posted on the HTC web site:
The ROM software update posted below provides several key enhancements for your HTC Dream:
-Improves the overall device functionality and stability
-Enables correct SMS timestamp
-Enables Chinese character display for POP3 HTML Emails
-Corrects E-mail client exchange Issues
V2.7.2 - New Build based off of V2.3 that includes the following:
-New Kernel based off my Magic Build that includes the new compcache-0.5.4 modules & swap_free_notify_patch. Compcache now enabled by default
-New init structure! Keep it Simple Stupid. ;-) a2d is not enabled by default, use the a2sd update previded below!
-Removed QuickOffice from build. Warez Free!
-Added HTC_CIME.apk for complete Chinese Support as requested.
-Updated the APN list and fixed the Network Search issue! I'm sure this will make many European users happy! This required reverting back to the stock libhtc_ril.so and updating the build.prop files. Now you'll notice an H most of the time when using 3g. It's ok.
-Updated both the modules.sqf & updated xbin.sqf from Magic Build.
V2.3 - I got the hint release - from the 20-40 people who really use the ROM. lol
- This build is based on V2.1 with the following changes:
- This is again a non odex release - You have 60 megs free on a wipe
- I've cleaned up the boot process again
- Chinese Support, all ringtones, wallpaper, etc are back.
- Loccy's BetterBrowser has been removed & back is the stock browser
- PID priotization has been added but as an option. See the /system/bin/userinit example script.
- Fixed the apn issue as in the V2.2 release
- If you're upgrading from V2.1 or lower no wipe required, but if you installed V2.2, I'd recommend it. Sorry.
- If you want to install a theme, use Enomther's hero v2 theme from his thread, but the Advanced Launcher will not be themed!
V2.2 - One for for the road - Fastest Build to date! ;-)
- This build is odex`ed. Please WIPE before installing. - Sorry, but you'll thank me!
-Cleaned up the boot process.
-Fixed the apn issue - reverted back to old apns-conf.xml file.
-Removed Chinese Supoort, all but required wallpaper & ringtones, & notifications. Sorry, but need the space for odex'ing!
-Fasted build to date & 82 megs free after fresh install.
-Don't install themes - It'll break the build! Sorry.
V2.1 - Nice Speed Improvement & Alternative Launcher!
-This started out as slight experiment w/ using Soulife's optimized apk's from his 3.0 build. It was a nice speed increase as well space saver! Thanks Soulife.
-added Irrenhuas/Rogro82's Advanced Launcher - Rogers Themed - fast/multiple-homescreens/auto-rotate/(5x4/6x3) app drawer/sub-folders/etc.
-added Loccy's BetterBrowser as default (simply better)
-added PID priotization from miketaylor's script (speedup phone ringtimes, music performance and media boost)
You can thank Enomther for the Roger's Themed AdvancedLauncher & the last minute PID priotization. We were trying to find away to completely replace the HTCLauncher, but adding the AdvancedLauncer is nice alternative! Thanks to both Soulife & Enomther!
- Updated to the latest lucid script
- included nano in xbin.cramfs
- updated the fixperm script to the latest v1.29
- And some other changes, I'm sure I forgot. ;-)
Here's the complete changelog:
1. The kernel has been updated to 2.6.27-00399-gc7f8bce. I took the time to setup a complete android build environment & built my own kernel. This kernel inlcudes support for tun, ipsec, ipfilter, ipv6, fuse, cifs, cramfs, ext2/3, cpu scaling,. Close to what JF's 1.51 kernel contained minus unionfs support, and I didn't apply any multi touch patches. If you'd like to see other things added, feel free to let me know. It's easy enough to re-compile the kernel. Only takes 10 min or so. The kernel update was done because of the following security alerts:
- Kernel security update fixes a critical vulnerability common to all linux kernels that are un-patched (sock_sendpage() Local Root0 exploit).
http://www.ryebrye.com/blog/2009/08/16/android-rooting-in-1-click-in-progress/
http://web.nvd.nist.gov/view/vuln/detail?vulnId=CVE-2009-2692
http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/36038/exploit
2. /system/frameworks is no longer using cramfs. It's extracted like most other updated Roger's builds. The reason for this is so others can easily theme it.
3. I removed sbin/busybox from the boot.img's ramdisk. Updated the init.rc in boot.img to export TERMINFO & set max/min cpu scaling 384/128 to extend battery life.
4. Included the new wlan.ko in /system/lib/modules to be compatible w/ the new kernel and added the following changes:
Google Maps updated to 3.1.2
Reomved HTC QuickOffice to 1.0.1
Updated the apn list
Included Cyanogen's Donut Dalvik VM from 3.9.1
Updated lucid script in /system/bin to the latest release - Hint this will do apps2sd if you choose to use it. That's why Virtudude included it.
Updated the build.prop to be seen as a T-Mobile G1 so MyAccount 2.0 works, and protected/paid apps work correctly again.
Added iptables to /system/bin - WiFi Tethering works great!
Added Haykuro's HTC_IME.apk.
Added HTC_CIME.apk
Added Java from Hero. Jbed.apk in /system/app & libjbedvm.so to system/lib
Re-added Stericson's tweaked Amazon apk
Re-added PCSCII.apk - Which is needed for those using HTC Sync.
Added bash to system/xbin.cramfs
Compiled/Added Compcache 0.5.4 w/ARM fix Enable by default.
Removed all the Rogers apps, & the Updater app.
I added these changes taken from Soulife's excellent Rogers Remix:
~added cyanogens sexy black terminal
~added cyanogens log collector (no more excuses for lack of logs)
~clearcache added to bin (clear Android Market, Browser, GMail, Google Maps, StreetView, Youtube cache)
~lowered boot sound in extended (so when i restart my phone at 2am i dont scare the **** out of myself)
Added rwsystem and rosystem to bin (just type rwsystem as su in terminal to mount system as read write etc..)
From Cyanogen's 3.9.9.1 release, I've added:
his terminfo in /system/etc/terminfo
his updated e2fsck, mke2fs, tune2fs, busybox, powertop & his new htop port in /system/xbin
updated toolbox, sh, su in /system/bin
From Cyanogen's 4.0.2 release, I've added:
Added the dropbear SSH server into xbin
Make sure you check out this thread for setting up the dropbear ssh server:

I think a load boot sound is good so you have fear to start it in the night :-D
It is funny, but the boot sound and animation is the thing I miss using CM's ROMs.

LOL. That update came straight from Soulife's changelog btw. I believe he had changed it out in 2.9. After running this rom for over 12 hours now, I'm happy with it! It does what is designed to do...Run stable & don't automatically push apps to SD. I'd like to hear some feedback from some others who've tried it though. Still looking forward to what Soulife can do w/ the update though. Take care.

Thanks for the feedback funbacon. Because of work, my time to really work on this is limited, but I have made progress in setting up a real build environment. I'll look at re-building the kernel. I'll let you know how it goes.

Virtudude's last build was V3 & there was serveral requests for a V4. Basically that's what this build is all about. I took his V3 & updated it w/ everything listed in the first post. That was my 3rd release of the rom. The 4th release has been posted. It's work in progress. Iron'ing out all the mistakes. As stated in the first post, I don't claim to be a developer. I simply re-packaged this & learning as I go. All credit goes to the great developer's here. In saying all that, the lastest release runs well. Funbacon, the build.prop has been fixed for the last time. Sorry, I had made a couple of changes. Those are fixed now & I made sure I could d/l protected apps from the market. I currently have about 70 apps installed to sd w/ the lucid script & everything has been running great. Even took the time to test out CoPilot today and did some tethering w/ the laptop via wifi. No problems. Hope that clears things up. Take care.

Hey NexVision, too be honest, I hadn't even thought about themes yet. I was hoping some others would test it as is. The latest version V4 does run well & I was actually going to "uncramfs" /system/framework like Soulife's build so that way others could theme it. I'm been floating between a slightly modified version of this rom using the framework-res.apk from Soulife's beta theme & one of his themed HTCLauncher.apk's. It's not perfect, but I like the look of it. I'm anxious to see what Soulife can do w/ the HTC update. The other build I've been testing is one based off of 2.9.1 w/ all the CRC1 updates & Cyanogen's Dalvik VM from Donut from 3.9.1. It wouldn't work w/ 2.9.2. I threw a few other updates that I had installed the lastest V4 mod here. I've had it running the last 48 hours and it runs just as fast as the 2.9.2 release does. If you'd like to test it, let me know. While you tested the 2.9.2.extended.crc1 build did you run into any problems? Any FC's, etc? I've had 1 w/ the 2.9.1 version when running CoPilot. If I kept everything running internally w/ the Virtudude build, I haven't seen any problems, except getting low on space. lol.
Throw it up i'll test it out. Soulife is a little delayed still my doing as I still havent made it to ups tried to go twice and got diverted but lappy is in truck so as soon as I get a chance im going.
Hi kb7sqi,
first of all thank you for this rom; I installed it 2 days ago over a Virtude v3 and it seems to run faster.
I had some problem with my company email account (exchange), I had to go into manage applications, clear all the data of email application, and config my account again to let it work, but finally everithing is ok.
I made some other change for personal purpose (use the standard mms.apk, change the boot gif with HTC since I don't like T-mobile, I modified the build.prop to with EU info to have € instead of $ for market, removed the HTC_CIME, and so on).
Finally I installed the other version of HTC_IME that has signs and numbers over the letters(image1), instead of the provided one (image2)and I would like to know why you choose this second one?? Did you find any problems with the most complete one??

beats me, what's so special about it? it's just a claim that's it's the fastest, lol.
I don't get much credit for it, as I haven't made a lot of modification. Just a small libs merger and small changes here and there.
If someone's willing to try I suggest it
About speed, I mainly mean Rosie which is amazingly smooth.

[ROM] cMoRPH v0.9.9 unstable {Eclair 2.1-Update1}[07.05.10][QWERTZ][Fixed Data/Voice]

As every other Dev im not responsible if u brick your phone, even if all my roms are tested on my own G1 before i release i cannot be bothered if there is something wrong with your method of flashing or with your hardware etc.
This ROM is based of the latest Test2 CyanogenMod.
Note that this is meant for users with an qwertz keyboard layout.
Ill provide an update.zip to change layout back to qwerty soon.
Q&A:
Q: Where are the screenshots?
A: No Screenshots yet as this rom isnt skinned and just a basic build now without any interesting stuff exept a Black Notification Bar.
Q: So when will there be screenshots?
A: Screenshots will come as soon as there is something interesting to be shown on screenshots

2.1 = Flan, not Eclair lol.
No screen pics? Nobody puts on screen pics anymore?
I heard 2.1 is still Eclair. Did I misunderstand?
yah screenshots and actual download link would help out alot

technically it's Flan.
link is on the bottom, sry no direct links from me yet as i have to wait till my account gets approved so i can post direct links.
just Copy / Paste the textlink at the very bottom and change hxxp to http
Finally, we get a cam in eclair
Gonna try this one, when you got it rooted, A2SD & BT...
To clarify, this is compiled from 2.0.1 not 2.1, and 2.1 is not flan. As discussed by the guys from androidguys, and cyanogen.
So community is way faster than htc...
would original cam drivers still be superior? like faster or nicer or less memory or whatever? or is it just nice?
Big thanks. Gonna try it out this evening
/edit: now flashing. will report later
I'm not flashing this yet, due to the lack of gapps, but very impressive work. Can't wait until everything on this rom is working fine.
Cam IS working, though I cannot take any pictures...
Cam app tells me that my SD card is being prepared whatsoever (and forever)
Plus, I didn't get WIFI to work. Tells me that it cannot activate.
I'm on Magic 32b. SDcard has fat32, ext2 and swap partition on it.
Nice though.
Will try next version also
read the topic please, atm this rom is Dream Only
I am sorry.
Must have somehow overread it...
Maybe because I was so fastcinated by the idea of a working camera...
but good to know that the driver works also for your phone, dual rom will come later
[Bump] updated 1. post

[ROM][32A][3.22] SuperE 1.0.3 /w 2.6.34 kern (NEW) + Addon v2.1 - 7 July 2010

This is a 32A port of the new SuperE 1.0.3 from Ben Buchacher
All credits go to him for SuperE I just built this port for 32A devices, so please visit the thread and his web site and support him
THIS PORT IS FOR OLD RADIO ONLY
If you are upgrading from 1.0.1/1.0.2, this is a no wipe update, just remember to flash Google Apps after 1.0.3
How to install SuperE 1.0.3
first of all do a NANDROID backup
WIPE everything (data/factory reset, dalvik, battery, rotate) if you come from a different ROM or from SuperD
flash SuperE 1.0.3 .zip file
flash Google apps (optional but strongly suggested)
flash 32A/EBI1 port file
reboot and enjoy SuperE
This port includes 32A specific audio files and is built using SLUB allocator and using more aggressive lowmemorykiller params (I think this let the system to be more responsive)
If you installed the Overclocked and UnderVolted kernel, to check if everything is working well you can
use your setCPU and see if scaling is set to ondemand and Max and Min scaling freq to 576MHz and 122MHz
check this values from command line
Code:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/cpuinfo_max_freq
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/cpuinfo_min_freq
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq
min values should be set to 122880, max values should be set to 576000
=== ADDONS ===
I packed two flashable zip files that add some feature/files to SuperE
!! NEW !!
SuperE addon pack v2.1 - get it here
- wonderful ADW Launcher 0.8.2 apk included
- stock launcher auto-removed on boot to save battery life
- Titanium Backup apk included
- autorenice init script for phone application (set priority to -18 for com.android.phone process) - tks to Piotr Karbowski
- added all CM media audio files
- remove_launcher script in /system/bin dir
gm-SuperE-Addon-RENICE-v2-signed.zip (mirror)
- autorenice init script for phone application (set priority to -18 for com.android.phone process) - tks to Piotr Karbowski
- remove_launcher script in /system/bin dir
You can use the new remove_launcher script as follow
Code:
remove_launcher [ stock | <launcher name> ]
Code:
remove_launcher stock (remove stock launcher Launcher.apk from /system/app)
remove_launcher org.adw.launcker (e.g. remove the ADW launcher)
Note that the new script can be used to remove any installed launcher.
=== SOME SUGGESTION ===
In my experience flashing many roms and playing with our phones sometimes cause battery problems.
If you are experiencing battery draining try the battery recalibration procedure before report

Thanks heaps, it works great.
I don't like the default launcher so installed the latest ADW Launcher.
It comes finally. Thanks a lot for your hard works.
here is a problem
If any application which runs the GPS (like Google maps), then stops apn (g3) connection, and not coming back
Work outstanding. With adv launcher (I replaced Launcher.apk with adw, stock launcher suck hard).
Thanks for port.
how does this compare to cm 5?

What is OLD ? 1.x? 2.x? any 3.x version?
does anyone else have a graphical flaw with the power widget? the highlight bar for the "brightness" is slightly higher than the other 4 options for the widget.
that was the only flaw i've found so far, and it was a petty one at that lol. im loving it so far! the thing i liked better about htcclay's rom was that he had a nice looking senseUI notifications bar.
plus this thing is SUPER fast like all the SupderD ROM's were!
oh, and some other inclusions that'd be nice (only cos i was using the Superbad 2.1 ROM by htcclay and found them to be nice features)
- coloured notification logo's
- 3D gallery for pictures
and also with the notifications bar, on SuperD ROM's the black version used to still be white when it was dragged down. is it possible to make it so that the 'drag down' notification bar remains black?
Thanks for port... I'm rebooting now!
Very Nice the blink android in logo startup....wow!!
...after my review.... I hope this rom don't drain the battery as Cyano 5.0.7 DS :-(
My first impression ( sorry my english, i'm italian)
1) WOW...automatic restore of market apps in phone!!! GREAT! (21 apps restored whit syncro) a great convenience, but i tried from the cyano Eclair (..mmm)
2) The rom is fast
3) everything seems to work
4) BUG: The power control widget has the Light icon whit the green bar not allingned (I try to reboot phone)
5) Thanks MERLOS!!!!!!!!!!!!
6) I will test the battery life now that is the most important thing (now 11:11 A.M. full charged)

lol i think the reason you have automatic restore of market apps is due to eclair back up settings enabled from CM5.
I believe before you used CM5, you must have been using a donut rom which do not backup market app.

[Rom][32A][6.35] CM-6.1.0 - FroyoRider v2.1 (23-Oct-2010)

...aka A Lean Mean Feeyo Machine
This is a Froyo 2.2 rom based on CM-6.1.0-RC0-DS modded by Feeyo specifically for the 32a Magic 6.35 radio.
The default kernel min and max are set at 264Mhz min and 537 MHz max. You can use SetCPU to change the scaling; the scaling range is currently 245-576MHz MHz. Copy this setcpu.txt file to your sdcard and install SetCPU.apk to read config settings for CPU speeds from the setcpu.txt file.
Google Apps have been pulled from the rom. Download from the link below and flash them if desired over the rom.
I recommend doing a full wipe before flashing v2.1. However, flashing v2.1 over previous versions should not harm your phone.
Flash Gapps (Google Apps) afterwards if desired.
Always do a full wipe and a Nand restore or clean install if you have problems.
If you like the rom, give it a star rating

If there is anyone with experience porting from Desire, here are 2 Froyo roms by 2 different devs who have a lot of things working on Froyo including wifi and GPS, bluetooth. It would be sweet if someone could port one of these over to 32A NR and have all the same stuff working.

As long as nobody ports it to new radio you cannot flash it... Maybe giant_rider could redo his work ;-)
Why redo?
It's ok to have both versions available.
Yes of course, I meant it like this. Redo his work to make the new version available for the new radio...
Would it work on my Magic.
Check signature for info on radio and spl.
Please come with a perfect answer, I'm dying to try it out

Oh ok!
Keep us updated.
I have tested this ROM for a day now, many things for porting it to the new radio to giant_rider.
If it could at least ring I would definitly keep it a bit longer...
What I liked is...
...the new look / features of the launcher, really nice.
...I could manage to activate vibrations, which is at least better than nothing.
...Notification LED is working for missed calls, charging
...3G data worked out of the box
...USB Connection to PC (Win7) worked fine
...All the direct access options during a call like muting, BT, keypad etc, looks very nice
Speed? Nothing special, I feel CapySlide 1.7.2 pre is still faster (thx to Capychimp, this is still my daily rom). Could it be that due to the fact that this port uses Sanpeis .33 kernel things like JIT and other performance enhancements are not active? Linpack scores only around 2 MFLOPS on my 32A, so I'm a bit disappointed, I at least expected it to be noticable better than the older versions of android
Battery? I can't tell, as BT, Wifi, GPS, Music is not working it is hard to drain the battery ;-) The battery usage statistic is definitly better and more detailed compared to 2.1 with Sense
Live Wallpapers keep FCs...
What I still miss on 2.2 (beside the hardware that is not yet working):
- A better phone app with speed and smart dial like the one from Sense
- HTC IME
The final conclusio is that it this version of Froyo looks promising, but at least due to missing audio (headset doesnt work either) and wifi it is not yet ready to become my daily rom.
@giant_rider: please keep up porting new Froyo versions to the new radio, or at least post the necessary steps that I could do it on my own
Thanks for the full report.
I plan on porting updated versions of 2.2 from the source or from the devs working on it for the G1.
I also plan on updating the kernel version from the .32 kernel to the .34 kernel when carz12 is done. I read elsewhere (maybe on one of the twitter accounts from the devs working on 2.2 for the G1) that the camera and video get fixed automatically when using the .34 kernel. If we're lucky, carz12work on the .34 kernel will also pay off with working wifi and GPS. Of course, all of the credit will go to those guys and not me who will simply apply the kernel update to the rom and a few other fixes.
One these basics are covered, we can then look into jit, oc, uv, etc. In the meantime I'm personally not into trying to solve problems that other devs are already looking into. I prefer to wait a few days for fixes from the G1 devs and carz12.
If we're lucky 2.2 will soon be good enough for a daily rom. I like the simple AOSP ui so it will be better for me than you as is
