Soon CyanogenMod 7(gingerbread) on the g-tablet?? look at the image - G Tablet General

What's DPI?
I hope someone can explain it to me....

A stable CM7 Gingerbread release is currently being worked on with no ETA. Asking Cyanogenmod for ETA's is asking for trouble. We MAY see something this week. GoJimi has stated he will start building a new Vegan based on CM7 source this week. The fastest way to get devs to slow down a release is to keep asking when it will be released.

I know a few devs from the cyanogenmod team have gtabs and they have been working to get cm7 on it. in due time there will be nightlies for it.

Awesomeness. I'll be keeping my eyes one this one.

DPI refers to screen resolution.

[BOUNTY] GridOS port for Inspire

Anyone seen GridOS? Looks pretty sick. What are the chances of getting it ported to the Inspire? How would you guys feel about putting up a bounty to get it done once a dump can be found?

Looks very interesting. I'd probably give it a shot if there was ever a GridOS ROM for the inspire. I couldn't find anything about it's source though. If it's closed source that might make things harder.
Looks pretty sick, check out this video: http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/16/hands-on-with-fusion-garages-grid-10-tablet-and-grid-4-smartpho/
So this is kind of like EdenOS from Notion Ink. Read up on Fusion Garage. Seems sheisty. But hey software is software. It uses an android kernel so drivers wouldn't be an issue. Should be easy for a dev. Not that I am saying it is.

I would donate 10 bucks to see this rom ported smoothly and functioning correctly to my inspire.

Ice Cream Sandwich, the unlocked Galaxy Note has been treated to its first official CyanogenMod9 nightly build. The CyanogenMod team, staying true to form, released the nightly build just earlier today to the CyanogenMod download page.
As always, these builds are expected to come with, at very least, a few bugs that need to be worked out. If you’re brave enough to deal with said bugs until they get fixed, which don’t expect will take an awfully long time, head on over to the CM download page for the link you’ll need to get up and running. Don’t forget to make a backup before flashing, and then drop us a comment to let us know how the ROM is treating you.

Dev Team need testers

We, Team PkmN searching for testers and maybe also team members.

Jenkins is the name of the Official CM Build Server
http://jenkins.cyanogenmod.com/
Though that build isn't official CM9 http://download.cyanogenmod.com/
Here is the Dev thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1675705

Thanks Northern!
No Problems but reading the Dev thread
"Since neither of us has the device personally, the builds are untested, and we rely on you, the users, to help us."
I would never install a ROM that the Dev doesn't own the device, like my tab too much to do that.

CyanogenMod-7.1.0-HeroC Android 2.3.7

I am looking to find out more information about this ROM.
It's been quite awhile since I've been part of any android development because once I got my hands on an iPhone I never looked back at my HTC Hero! Lol!
Anyways,
I am wanting to just ask about the basics before I jump into anything else as of the moment.
How would I go about getting new widgets for this?
-Clock
-Weather
etc...
I am also curious about boot screens that will work specifically with this ROM?
That's all I can think of right now. This ROM works really very smoothly and a lot better then this phone has ever worked before!

Since it's been sooooooo long for me, any kind of useful information to get me all up to date on anything would be great so I can dive back into my development stages with android again.
Thanks for any kind of advice and take care!
