need an app to upload pics to a good pic hosting site such as imageshack etc?
is there any such app u guys know of?
Photobucket
you mean the normal site? or from your phone?
I used Photoshop express. It allows you to upload to 3 websites, their own, facebook and twitpick.

yeah, PS express is the app for you.
Using the photobucket app to upload to the site. There is also the option to upload from the gallery app to picasa, facebook, springboard or photobucket if you have the apps installed.
I've found Picture Share Link to be working extremely well on my phone,
and it is fast and easy!
It uploads them on your Picasa (if you have a gmail, you have a Picasa account, even if you have never used it) and gives you a direct link, or a shortened one!
Try it!
min.us has an app for uploading pictures! =p it's nice and fast!

Thread moved to general. This does not belong in development by any stretch of the imagination.
Just tried it again and I uploaded without issue. Is your picasa pics syncing to your gallery? Also when you try to upload them are you clicking on the share option.

Yes I could see my albums from Picasa, but I couldn't upload photos from Gallery to Picasa. It shows "fail to retrieve account information".
My friend said photos taken with his iphone automatically shows up on his ipad. I'm guessing it's some kind of cloud thing. What app and how?
drop box could do the sam thing.
i dont know how ur friend is doing it.
is it automatic? or with manual update?

You can use Google+ and have it set to auto upload your pictures.
Google+ use Picasa to host pictures and if you have Picasa sync on your tablet it will show up there too.

That's the way I do it. Any Picasa web albums automatically show up on any android device that is tied to my gmail account. Instant Upload on G+ will sent them to private albums, and from there you can share/post them. Nifty.
Once they are in Picasa you can view them in the gallary app as well (network connection provided ofc). In most Android's you can upload to Picasa from the galary app right after taking a picture, should you opt not to use G+.

Well I was trying to upload one pic for a profile pic for google plus and out of no where the app showed that it uploaded a lot of my pics (I don't think all because I have many pics so I know that's not all of them or at least I hope not) a.d these pics are only showing on the G+ app for android and are not showing on the site in the *from your phone* album... why is that? I know these pics are supposedly private, and though they aren't bad or inappropriate pics I still don't feel comfortable with them showing in the app at all.... so is there any way I can delete them? Please reply

check settings
You might have instant upload checked. When you select this option, G+ app uploads all photos on your phone to G+ account. if you dont want to do that, unselect this option.
Even if they uploaded to G+, they will be in private album, I think its a good way to back up photos.. (my openion)
Can anyone suggest an app that views cloud storage pictures? Something like picasa. It syncs the thumbnails to the gallery and downloads the picture when you actually click on it. I'm having many issues with picasa lately, and want to be able to just use something like dropbox, box.net, ect to drop pics into. I don't want something that just syncs the entire folder to my phone. I have gigs worth I would rather not have to download them all unless I'm actually using the pics. No Google+ please. I like it, but most of the people in my real life don't use it, so it's hard to share pics with them that way.
Thanks for any help!
JustPictures!
yes,
Theres an app called JustPictures!
(I can't post links, search google/market)
has most of the sites in it, and you can email the devs to add more
I have also been on the hunt for a good app to sync all of my pictures to from my phone, so I can easily view and download them on my computer without plugging in my phone. Any suggestions?

I just checked out just pictures. Good idea, but it didn't support drop box, box.net, Google drive, or anything like that. Just Flickr and regular picture services. :/. Thanks though.

Hello everybody!
Ihave some problem to upload my new photos on Picasa on my HTC ONE S (on my GALAXY NEXUS and GS2 work good).
After i take a picture I go into the gallery and I select the photo to share directly in one of my Picasa album.
So i press share... I select Picasa... but the One S say that it was not able to upload it.
Normally into the gallery if I select Picasa I have no problem to see all of my uploaded photos... but I am not able to
upload more photos (as nornally happen on Samsung device).
I can upload it by G+ with no problem... but whit Picasa I shold select the album to share... but it's not possible.

As far as I know, the only way to auto upload to picasa is by installing g+...it stores the photos in an instant upload folder on picasa

Yes this is true... I had already installed G+ and I can upload the photos with sync... but it should be possible to upload the photo once at time with the possibility to chose the folder... this happen on the GS2... I mean: i have the option for do that but the procedure is aborted.

IMO, the HTC gallery sucks. I installed the Google Gallery from the inverted app pack aroma installer and it not only syncs with Picasa, but the "share" to upload manually works as well...give that a try and ditch the HTC Gallery.
EDIT: Link to the apps. As you can see from the thread, I had some problems getting it to sync at first, but I think if you just push it to system/app, then also click on the .apk with your file explorer to "install" it, it works.

I have found that if you have dropbox installed and logged on, you can't upload to Picasa from the gallery. Try using Picasa Tool, works good enough for me. Or just log out of dropbox...

I will try it... THX...
maybe is dropbox.
PICASA TOOL work GOOD!!!!
but... the picasa tool licence it's very expensive! 3,99 euro!
and it's very strange because ALSO with the PICASA TOOL you can share the photo FORM THE GALLERY directly to the PICASA WEB ALBUM.... You have to OPEN picasa tool and upload it!
It's not so much different but I hate it!
