If I uninstall the amazon app, the apps don't work anymore. Can a new user login with a different amazon account and use those apps?
Giving my phone to someone else, but don't want my amazon account on the phone.
The apps are tied to your account just like the Android market.
Amazon runs a service in the background that authenticates apps against it. If you uninstall the Amazon app the service goes with it and the apps can't authenticate. Though there may be a way to install the app store, then cut off it's access to the net so the phone only locally authenticates, your credentials are still in the phone and the new user may reinstate the App Stores connection, which would be bad. In addition I could imagine this being a pain in the butt to figure out how to do.
Hello,
i'm trying to open https://play.google.com/store in my PC but there are no apps, nothing, when i try to search an app, f.e. viber the results are just some chinese apps... can some one tell me what is happening?
in my phone, google play is working fine, problem is just in my pc, i've tried with chrome, firefox... same thing happens...
i think it might depends on your location, your language setting on your google account or your language setting on your computer cause google filters your search results depending on things like this
Are you using the main Google account you use in your phone in the Google Play login too? If so, it should show the relevant apps in the relevant language because settings like language and location are synchronized in all devices from where you login in the account through Google.
It could be some kind of a virus/spyware. Check your PC with antivirus.
I would also suggest to try accessing it with different proxies, also check your firewall.
yes i'm using the same account, but play store shows nothing either when i go there without signin in, i tried proxy and it worked, so i think it had to do with location...
anyway, thnx for ur answers!
I had google play store installed on my android 2.2 mobile. But unfortunately when I went to service centre the mobile was resetted to factory settings and all my data was lost. There after when I restarted my internet, default browser is unable to connect to any secured website. Even my news and weather is not getting connected. But the browser connects to other un-secured sites. When I tried to reinstall Google play I was asked to add Google account but it gave me error can not established secured connection. No google website except google.co.in is connected. However when I use opera minibrowser I can visit any secured sites including gmail and play store. But when I tried to download any apk from google store it does not show any error in my PC but software is never downloaded. When I tried to use deviceID apk it is showing me nothing. I think because I am unable to add any google account the data file contains nothing. Can anybody tell me how I can start secured connections in my default browser so that google can connect to it's secured server and I shall be able to download from Play store. Thanking you

On Wifi, everything works as expected. The problem is when I'm connected to a mobile network.
Problem: I'm only able to access *google.com* sites!
When I try anything else (www.xda-developers.com, www.reddit.com, www.theoatmeal.com, etc) I get a "This webpage is not available" message from Chrome or "Web Page Not Available" from Dolphin.
I cannot access Google Voice. I cannot access Google Play.
What is working:
- Google search results show up, but when I click on the web pages, they don't load
- Google Apps (gmail, calendar, etc work fine)
- Google's cached pages
- I can make and receive phone calls
I've tried rebooting, and installing a new browser (Dolphin) in case of a settings issue.
Any solutions? Thanks!

Tried that. The problem isn't loading search results (*google.com works fine). The problem is loading webpages from the search results and even when typed manually in the address bar.
In addition to *google.com, *android.com and *youtube.com pages also load properly. Youtube app works. Google Maps works. Gmail app works. Google Play and Google+ apps do not. Uber, Twitter and my bank apps do not.
When I load those that don't work, messages say there's a data connection issue. But, that's not the case, as some of the Google apps seem to function.
I have restarted the phone.
Do you have the correct APNs installed in your phone?
Someone help me please... Everytime I rebooting my Android, many apps downloaded automatically even I've uninstall them. Those apps are Aplikazone, EasyTouch and Fast Booster. It means that I logging in with my gmail? Yes I logged on my gmail when I opened the browser. And I sync my mail to my phone so I can opened my mail on my phone cause I need it for my job. May I prevent those apps from downloading with logging out my gmail on my browser? Or I need to unsync my gmail to my phone too? I'll appreciate your help.
