Looking to see if anyone is willing to put together an app for this software. The company released the source code for anyone willing to build an android app.
Basically its a webcam monitoring software to view your cameras as a type of security system.
If I had any idea how to put it together I'd do it myself but I dont have the first clue of where to start. Ive got the source code though if anyones interested.

Hey guys, I'm making myself an app where I can use the camera to look at a magic the gathering card, and it will tell me what the card is based on the name at the top.
I'm not asking on how to do it, but I'm trying to find another app's source code I can look at where I can learn from and see how it is implemented. Anyone think they could help me out a bit with that?
Thanks.
Can WebOS Open Source Run on the Infuse?:cyclops:
It's possible, if someone were to port it. This is very unlikely as porting WebOS to a new device is a daunting task that requires intimate details about the Infuse that noone outside of samsung has. If you were to know the right people at samsung, sign the right papers, and get the right info, it would still be a long time before you had working code.
So in summation; no, it's not likely that this will happen.
Hey Guys,
This is my first post in a long time, however I figured I'd give it a shot since it can possibly be an opportunity for someone here.
I am looking for an Open Source MDM (Mobile Device Management) tool for android. Generally since my employer is interested in possibly creating one for our specific project needs.
I've been searching and haven't really come across anything so we are interested in hiring a "consultant" or developer whom has made apps or custom roms with MDM features, or has already created some form of MDM and can participate in an open source MDM project.
This is a great opportunity to participate in a project that WILL BE DEPLOYED out in the field to hundreds and eventually thousands of tablets.
If you are that person that can help, or know of someone please let me know.
Or if you know of an Open Source MDM solution already out there, that would be greatly appreciated as well.
My e-mail is [email protected]
Thanks,
-E
Open Source MDM (Mobile Device Management) tool for android
We are also looking for an Open Source MDM for Android. Thus far the only potential options I seem to be able to locate are OpenMEAP, and potentially Funambol (though its more carrier oriented these days).
Please let me know how you go as we may be interested in contributing.
I have discovered this app called "Koala Phone" at https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-koala-phone-launcher-simple-phone-t2977253 , it isnt maintained by its developer anymore, its full of bugs especially on newer versions on android, i found the apk for it here: https://apkgoogle.org/apps/koala-phone-launcher-gold-v-1-22-0-apk-paid/ , please at least do these things:
Fix most of the bugs and make it work properly on newer versions of Android
Replace all instances of the phrase "Koala Phone" and their Koala logo with something else (So no copyright infringement)
DONT put certain features behind a paywall or put ads in it (This allows it to be useful to as many elderly people as possible)
Release it to Google Play
Maybe also release the source code to Github/Gitlab
I know the app isnt open source, but someone can decompile it
This looks like a good thing but maybe there wasn't any demand. I think someone should just start a new open source for this kind of stuff where this can be downloaded with ease.
i'm also not sure here is the right audience , I mean for the koala
