Apparently Sears has joined the ranks of staples and is no longer selling the tab and its accessories?

It is still under their site, it just says temporarily unavailable.

Hmmm, I looked for a while too. Guess I missed it. Well I was hoping to snag some gear for mine at a store.

What a damn shame...this thing easily gives the ipad a run for its money but its poorly marketed and out of the box is a mess. Oh well...maybe they will start turning up on ebay cheap and i can grab more. LOL

Is Amazon sold out?
On a side note, if you're still in Flagstaff, my gtab shipped from Amazon in Arizona, so you could get one fast, even with slow shipping options.
Had it shipped to Yuma and arrived next day for me.
I was looking for a used one but ill check it out. Thanks

If I didn't like mine so much I'd consider selling it, but I'm just getting started hacking around on it.

I called about 10 stores now including radio shack and no one seems to have it. Doing a google search I found that people have bought them in store as early as April 21st. Why can't I find one in the Bay Area?

If youre ever around the city, I got mine at the tmo store on corner of Van Ness and Pine 2 days ago. Theyre cool as hell in there too. Helped me get out of my ETF with ATT on one of my lines with em. Good luck

I ended up ordering one from the website. Took a week for me to receive it, and looks like the box was opened. I suspect it was the delivery carrier that opened it as it came 2 days late.

Hi guys
I'm a massive fan of android, i have a 64GB iPad 2 but I'm bored with no jailbreak... would it be worth selling iPad for an eeepad?

I don't want to be presumptuous, but I think this is the wrong place for an objective answer. So if I have to play the Oracle (Matrix ), I would say "but you already know the answer to your question".

True, I know some people have used an iPad too though so they might be able to compare

On a serious note, i have used both but ultimatley they both have their strengths and weaknesses. For me one of the biggest things android has is Flash, having an iPhone searching the web can be a very frustrating experience - same applies to the iPad.
They are both brilliant gadgets i think it just depends what you want to use it for.

P.s. the iPhone is going at the ealiest oppertunity!
It would be for browsing, Twitter, Facebook. Don't game that much

So my opinion (and just my opinion) the Transformer would suit you well. With the widgets to enhance twitter and facebook and the browser having flash you would be sorted.
Although the system is not to the same refinement as the Ipad yet, ie you may get the odd fc but Android is only going to improve with time and will eventually overtake ios (in my opinion)
Thats my opinon anyways. (Did i already say that?)

Funny, I just shipped out my iPad 2 this morning and I'm a huge Apple guy.
Two biggest things for me were the higher resolution and the expandability... (microsd, dock, usb ports, sd card slot....)
I'll re-evaluate iPad when the higher resolution screen comes out but I doubt they will ever include a memory card slot. (Hope I'm wrong.)
However, my Transformer isn't completely safe either! He's lucky the Samsung doesn't have a memory card slot or usb.
I love Apple too but I've been using my sgs2 and android and I love all the customisation.
Do you miss the iPad?

Hmmmm...think about it, people. Can we really have TOO many toys? As the proud ower of two NCs, a GTab and a TF it's like Christmas everyday! lol
And educational. (That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!)
@Guitarfreak26
Well, I just shipped it this morning but I haven't really used it much since I got the Transformer.
I wish there was a way to sync my Yahoo calendar to the nice Honeycomb calendaring app, but other than that, not really.
I mean, there are plenty of cool things on the iPad but they were things I thought I'd use but never did.
(iTunes? Nope, use my iPhone or Nano. Airplay, never use it. Games? Keep buying them on sale but hardly ever play them. I'd trade all of that stuff for a microsd slot and hdmi out without adapters... And I did! )
Where did you sell? Ebay?

No, an excellent board I frequent named Ars Technica.
eBay has gone to hell.... Buyer traffic seems way down and the fees are out of hand.
(Especially nice when eBay takes its pound of flesh and then their company PayPal takes ANOTHER big chunk.)
I agree about ebay....
Do you find yourself using the dock much?
I think i found out about the ipads usefulness when i went a convention last weekend, i tried to find a website where i could watch a few episodes of Monk and nothing would work because of no flash!!
No, I don't use the dock too much... Mostly as a charging station. But then again I haven't been on any trips since I got it.
However, when I do use it I like it quite a bit. Nice having the extra battery, extra SD card storage, a decent keyboard and a very nice trackpad.
Yeah, I didn't think Flash would add that much but then I started using sites that require it and would find it hard to go back. And I especially don't want to go back to the lower resolution.
The form factor... I don't know. I like both. The iPad's shape is good for books and magazines, and the Transformer's is good for internet and movies. (And pretty much everything else.)
Thatll be amazing when 3.1 is out and supports the camera plug in etc...

I just realized that! Almost 10% from eBay and another 5% from PayPal. That makes 15% off the total sales price, including shipping! I was shocked and appalled when I saw that. Resulted in a BIG loss when I sold my XOOM

Saw the deal on Techbargains and checked it out. Sure enough. 32GB Champagne TF700 with keyboard for $499. http://www.adorama.com/ASTF700TB1CK.html I have no idea how long the sale will run.
Note that I am not affiliated with Adorama in any way. As a matter of fact, this is my first order with them.
Mods: this is my first post of this nature so if it's misplaced or should be gone altogether, please move or delete it with my apologies.

Says $599 when I pull it up...
My apologies. It was $499 yesterday and for a while this morning. Guess I got lucky cuz my order was processed and paid for at the lower price and it's on its way to me. Still, $599 would save me right around $50 off the best price I've seen at my local Best Buy (after tax). I saw it for $449 + $149 (keyboard) + around 9% for state and local taxes which is just about $650.

The deal is expired, but I did get mine before it expired for $499 for the TF700 with keyboard dock. That was a good deal, as you point out $100 cheaper then the Black Friday deal of $599
Thank's a bunch for sharing this!
I didn't get to purchase it for $499, but it's still way cheaper than what I would have to pay for it here in Denmark.
The tablet + shipping was $630, but if I had purchased it here in Denmark, Europe, I would have paid $1040.
565 right now shipped

For those still looking, I just got a hit from Techbargains.com on the Best Buy deal -- $499 for the package - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ASUS+32...?id=pcmprd196600050005&skuId=9999197500050005
Valid right now.
I bought mine from adorama... got it for $560 shipped. But that was without the keyboard and it's the 64gb version.
I'm really itching to get a dock, but from what I've read is a tablet + dock shouldn't be more than $150. Problem is I was thinking of trying to trade an iPod 3rd Gen for one. I've no clue of the value of the iPod or what gb it is though.
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using xda premium
Check eBay and local prices.
The tablet with dock is going for $250+ on eBay, consistantly, not $150+ - check the prices and perhaps use a price-tracker app. You might get a better deal on Craigslist since people often use that to try to make a quick sale.
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using xda app-developers app
Checked Craigslist but I live in Mississippi and can't find a dock even in surrounding states for some reason. I've got a tablet, bought it last year on sale so I don't need that. I read a few posts saying $150, guess they were wrong as I'm seeing non working tabs for $100
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using xda premium
Usually you can get the dock refurbished from stores around 90-120$... but all the stores seem to be out of stock now.
Alright I guess I'll see if I can sell this iPod at a pawnshop and see if they'll give me enough for a dock.
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using xda premium
You should be able to get just the dock for about $99, I think.

I wish this forum still had a marketplace. I literally haven't used my dock in 3 or 4 months (I just charge it up once in a while to keep the battery healthy). It's in good shape and I even still have the box.
I guess what I'm getting at is pm me if you are interested in possibly buying from another xda member.
