Is there a way that I can remove the notifications for "Battery fully charged" and "USB debugging enabled"? I like having a clean notification bar. I'm running Perception 10.

Is there an application that controls SMS alerts better than the stock android alerts? If I turn off status bar notifications, it turns off sound and vibrate.
I want to turn off status bar and lock screen sms notifications, and only get a tone/vibrate. Checking the status notification off in the menu turns off sound/vibrate.

There are SMS notification applications, yes, but I don't think you can enable sound/vibration without a status bar notification as the status bar functions as a sort of master notification manager.
I imagine that's intentional on Google's part -- if you could enable just sound without a visual cue, it would be too easy to end up confused as to what kind of notification you actually received. Sounds like a recipe for confusion from less-savvy users.
Now, there's a chance I'm wrong here -- but I'm fairly certain I'm not. You could try SMS Popup (http://www.appbrain.com/app/sms-popup/net.everythingandroid.smspopup), which can do a one-time popup notification without putting anything in the status bar, but again, that won't do sound or vibration without the status bar notification enabled.
I tried sms popup, it requires you to do a status bar notification.
I don't really understand your part about the sound/vibrate notification being confusing. phones for years have had sound/vibrate with different alerts for each type of event. i also get a (1) on the SMS application showing i have 1 unread message.
I really think it is a poor design that I can't turn off the status bar notification without turning off all message sounds/vibrate. What if I just didn't want someone reading my messages but wanted to hear the sound?
I have never used a phone that doesn't automatically (and non-optionally) put a notification icon in a status bar, or place a # over the messaging icon, or give some other visual cue that you have a new message. But if what's actually bothering you is the scrolling message preview in the status bar -- not the notification icon itself -- SMS replacement apps Handcent and ChompSMS both can disable that.
The only option if you just really can't live with that icon, for whatever reason, is to get Handcent or Chomp to disable the scrolling preview, and then to go digging around in one of those programs' files with Root Explorer or the like to find the SMS notification icon image file and replace it with a completely transparent .png. The notification icon would then be invisible, despite still technically being there.
Yea im talking about the scrolling notification bar not the # on the sms message app icon.
I've used handcent and sms popup and both have a notification on/off, just like default message. It is tied to the audio. If you don't want the scrolling notification bar, you can't get audio from what I've found so far.
It was kind of nice at first, until i realized its just wasting extra battery, and it stays up there until i actually go click it or something. It also displays the text if someone else is holding the phone and thats annoying as well. I just don't understand why the notification bar isn't separate from the audio/vibrate.
HI
I just bought the Verizon Sony Xperia Z3V. I notice that there is an option in settings - display and at the bottom is the notification light. I have it off cause at night it flashes like crazy. But I also notice that apps that have notification have the LED feature also and when I get a notification from that app the LED notification comes back to enabled. So I turn off every single LED notification for any apps that has that LED notification option(which i think is sooo stupid whne the settings should just default to off when i uncheck the LED notification box from the display phone settings). There's only one app I cannot find the LED notification option for and that is Google+. Everytime i turn off notification in settings on the phone and get a notification from Google+ the LED comes back enabled. I can't seem to find it in the Google+ setting at all for LED notification so my only option was to turn off notification but now I don't get no messeges from Google+. Anyone have any idea where this option is ?
Thanks
You could try an app like light manager or light flow to control the notification LED. You should be able to disable Google+'s LED from there.
Since upgrading to 5.1 (custom AOSP build) - the notification LED flashes for any notification (fine...) but the LightFlow settings only appear to take note when I turn the screen on then off which kinda defeats the point of using LightFlow (Different colours tell me what notification it is).
I thought I could just disable the "Pulse notification light" setting but that also kills LightFlow completely.
Any tips how to get the LED to stop flashing for all notifications and let LightFlow do what it's supposed to? (non-rooted)

Light Manager is superior. Different colors works there.
I have rooted, de-bloated, and installed an LED notification manager, which has made my phone nearly perfect. The only lagging issue is the overly busy Status/Notification bar and drop-down. Things I would like to change:
Status Bar
- remove AM/PM from the clock
- remove NFC icon when active
- change battery status to something that takes up less space, the default is icon AND percentage. I'd ideally love to use the Circle Battery Mod.
Drop Down
- remove the brightness slider
- remove the "s finder" and "quick connect" buttons.

Hi,
to remove the s finder and qucik connect button, you have to open the build.prop file ( \root\system\build.prop ) with a text editor from your root explorer
(backing up the file would be a good idea)
search the line "ro.product.name=zeroflteXXX" and replace it with
"ro.product.name=zerofltevzw"
restart your phone an it's gone
that's how it worked on my stock rom.
I did this to remove the brightness slider, connect your phone to computer and with ADB
adb shell settings put system notification_panel_brightness_adjustment 0
reboot.

Is there an ADB comand to remove S-finder and quick connect?
Hello All,
My question is that how can I disable the notification on the notification bar per app.
I just want to disable for example Viber icon and notification on the notification bar, but I want the LED notification only.
If I disable the notifications in app settings, the Viber want to enable it.
I just do not want the Viber icon on the notification bar, but the LED notification is "nice to have".
I checked the Play for this kind of apps without success.
I just surprised with this Android version, because on my old Galaxy S5 (android 6.0.1 note 7rom), this setting is available, when I long press the notification on the notification bar. I can simple disable it.
Or it is because of the Custom rom? I don't think so...
I'm using the below rom on my S5 deivce

Thanks if you have any idea,
Regards,
You can change it from your settings menu, either in the notif area or your app's settings.

No, it can't change. i just tried. if I disable it, all notification has been blocked from the app with LED notification, not just the statusbar or notification bar notifications.
I just attached some picture about my problem.
When I turn off the notification on notification bar, the app will require to enable it. On my old phone as I mentioned, it was easily to disable the notification on statusbar and on the notification panel.
Is there any solution or app for do that? For better understanding: I want the LED notification, but without notification panel notification.
The last picture contains the setting what I looking for... it is from my old Samsung Galaxy S5 (note 7 custom rom) marked with red.
